The battle was in full swing. Luke was, as always, trying to get you to go out with him. Your answer was always no, but he wouldn't give up. This time, he tried pickup lines. The deal you made was that you would go out with him if he could say a pickup line you couldn't reply to.

"Hey, y/n?" Luke asked you through your comlink. Only you, Luke and Leia could hear it. Leia had asked to listen in, because she wanted to know your responses to the pick up lines.

You sighed. "Yes? Are you starting?"

Luke nodded, quickly remembering that you couldn't see him. "Yeah. Okay. Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?"

Leia facepalmed. "Luke, you're in an x-wing! You can't walk!"

You rolled your eyes but answered, "Go ahead. I need to practise on a moving target."

Luke pouted, but said another one. "You know, you look a lot like my next girlfriend."

Leia grimaced, thinking that you couldn't answer it but you smirked, immediately knowing how to respond. "And you look exactly like the guy I turned down two seconds from now."

Leia decided Luke needed some help, so she changed the setting on the comlink so that you couldn't hear. "Luke, try making one up. She won't know how to respond, and she will be all yours." She then changed the setting so that you could hear.

So he took her advice, trying one more time. "You're so beautiful, the stars can't compare to you."

You were shocked. You had thought that you would be able to respond to that, but you couldn't. Eventually, you gave up. The whole reason why you rejected him was because you didn't want to be in a relationship, but you now realised that you were wrong. You had a crush on Luke. "Looks like you found yourself a girlfriend." You whispered.

Leia squealed and Luke cheered. "Yes!"

"Hey, y/n? Do you remember when I tried to get you to go out with me?" Luke asked.

You had been painting the walls of your recently built nursery, preparing for your baby that was due soon. "Yeah, and you used those cheesy pick up lines?"

"Mhm. You know that last one, the one where you couldn't come up with an answer? I made it up. Leia told me to."

"You and Leia what?"

"Hey, if I didn't use it, this baby wouldn't be here." He gestured towards your stomach.

"That's true. My thanks to your amazing sister."
