《Only Mine (Kagehina) (Kageyama x Hinata)》Chapter 14

Days where you can just lay down on the fresh grass with the person who means the most to you are filled with pure happiness. Moments like these are moment in which you don't want to ever end, however once you teleport back to the real world you realise not everything is sunshine and roses.
"We should be heading home now." Hinata said whilst cuddling, his arms wrapped around Kageyama's waist and his face resting on his chest. Despite telling Kageyama that they had to get going Hinata hasn't moved an inch.
"Get up then." Kageyama continued as he ruffled Hinata's soft hair between his fingers. Hinata groaned not wanting to get up.
"I just want to remember this feeling a little longer." Hinata snuggled up even closer, Kageyama smelled so nice, it was as if Hinata was being intoxicated by the aroma surrounding him.
"I'm not going anywhere, we can do this whenever you want. You were the one that said we have to go." Laughed Kageyama getting up from the grass which forced Hinata to move as well. The setter got up and put his hand out for Hinata to grab onto so they could start making their way home. "If you don't get up I'll carry you."
"No you won't." Scoffed Hinata, making fun of Kageyama not taking what he said to heart. Without a second thought Kageyama bent down to Hinata's level and picked him up in bridle style. Startled, Hinata grabbed onto Kageyama's neck making sure he wouldn't loose balance. "What are you doing?" Hinata cried out, surprised that Kageyama actually kept his word.
"I told you I'd pick you up dumbass." Kageyama started walking down the pathway with Hinata in his arms. Hinata kept glancing up to look at Kagayama's face, it was as if it was taking no effort to carry him.

"I can walk now." Hinata finally said not wanting to be an inconvenience to his boyfriend.
"Will you walk?"
"Of course I will!" Kageyama shot a gentle smile after hearing Hinata's slightly bothered voice. He acted so cute when Kageyama would take care of him which just made him yearn for him even more.
"I'll walk you home, okay?" Kageyama said, taking Hinata's hand and leading him in the direction of his home.
"Oh, by the way I posted on my Instagram the place we were at today. Is that okay?" Hinata confessed, quite embarrassed, hoping Kageyama wouldn't mind showing other people their spot.
"Yeah of course, why wouldn't it be?"
"Well, it's our spot. And you might not want other people to know."
"It's our spot?" Kageyama smiled at the thought that Hinata made that spot exclusive to only them, he guessed he wasn't the only one that found these things special.
"Yes, out spot. Why? Do you take other people here?" Hinata said with a small grown on his face, he was feeling a mix of fear and jealousy.
"No of course not. You're the only person I take here." Kageyama said looking at Hinata getting bothered over the smallest things, his face pouting a like a small child.
"Good." Hinata scoffed. Kageyama laughed at his reaction and placed a gentle kiss on the top of Hinata head which sent a wave of butterflies into his stomach and his face became all red. He still couldn't get used to the feeling of someone liking him the way Kageyama did, especially when he did things like this without any warning.
"We're nearly here." Hinata called out as he took one more look at Kageyama and quickly went on his tip toes to plant a gentle kiss on his lips. "My house is right across the street." Hinata pointed to a house which Kageyama guessed was Hinata's house.

It was quite. A few cars sped past from time to time, while the golden sun set making the sky a beautiful pink colour. Hinata chuckled, and with that he turned around and started walking. The light turned green indicating that it was safe to cross. Kageyama watched as Hinata walked away, getting further and further away.
"HINATA MOVE." Kageyama leaped into the road, pushing Hinata with all his force making him tumble onto the ground.
What is this I'm feeling.
Kageyama layed on the floor.
A penetrating pain in his side and head, his sight was getting more and more blurry. He tried fighting it, but couldn't. He saw a faint orange blur on top of him, he knew it was Hinata yet he couldn't see his face. He could feel something wet and warm beneath him.
A car.
Everything happen so quickly, his body moved on his own. His hearing was also fading. What was Hinata saying? He could feel Hinata's cold hands on his face.
Crimson everywhere. A dark red covering Hinata's face and hands. Hinata's blood? Or mine?
Another person? Another blurred out person entered his restricted view. Are they arguing? Kageyama tried to grab onto Hinata's arm but he didn't have enough strength to lift his hand. He wanted to tell him it's okay.
Hinata was safe. He promised himself he had to keep Hinata safe, that's what he did. No matter the consequences, that's what he promised.
He could hear muffled cries and screams, the other figure is gone now, so is the car.
Sirens. At least he thinks that's what he hears. It's getting louder and louder.
His vision is being overpowered by the flashing red and blue lights.
That's all he can see now.
Blue.
Red.
Blue.
Red.
His eyes were closing.
It's getting darker.
He couldn't fight it any longer.
He couldn't.
Stay with me Hinata. That were his final thoughts before everything turned dark.
It empty and dark.

Jack is intimately familiar with these terms from years of playing games, so he is shocked and excited when the entire world is integrated into a system governed by those elements. Blue Mage MC who learns skills from monsters. Skills are not intuitively known and must be trained to be able to use properly. This is not a rapid rise to power story. It's more of a pseudo-Isekai. As the setting quickly changes to a Fantasy one. (with elements of steampunk and sci-fi but not until much later) The story does not get very adventure-y until chapter 17.

The Chronicle of a Witch
It is a story about a young girl that abruptly transmigrated into the body of another young girl (at least in appearance) in another world filled with Magic. She notices that she becomes a Dungeon Master and for a thousand years... she lives a lazy life. However, one day, she lost all of her power and she is kicked out of her Dungeon! And the world's changed that video games level and classes governed the power system of the new world! What will she do as a weak and fragile girl? Will she get her power back? How will she survive in the harsh world? Author's note: I will update daily if possible and each chapter is around 2,000 words. Gores, Sexual Contents, and Traumatising Contents are limited and I try my best not to write them. However, for the progress of the story, I can't help but write some of them in the latter part of the story. However, don't expect them too much ^_^ English is not my native language, so there might be grammatical errors (maybe a lot), but I'll try to fix them, so constructive critiques will be appreciated (^_^)

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
