"What are you going to do?" Laurent asks once the detective had been set straight and left us, taking the Vaughn's with them.

"Take apart Vaughn Chemicals, piece by piece, till there is nothing left" I tell him honestly and he laughs aloud.

"You know whatever you boys need we will support you" he tells me and I tilt my head looking at him.

"You're going to let us lead?" I question and he smiles, settling back in his chair.

"I am and I know your parents will too, we all like Per, we are so proud of how all you boys are changing into me, we wouldn't take this away from you, just make sure she is aware, she may not want you to go after them" he explains

"Do you think she will stop us?"

"I think as long as you are safe and happy, she will not want you to put yourselves at risk, she is a nurturer, not a fighter" he replies.

"We will talk to her, all of us and you are wrong, she will fight, if she wants something, she will fight for it" I tell him with a smile as I hear shouts in the hallway and Topper and Ru bang through the door.

"Where is she, what happened , is she okay?" Ru asks his gaze searching the room and Laurent laughs again, getting up and patting my shoulder as he passes.

"I will leave you boys to it" he tells us all as I wave Ru and Topper into chairs.

"She is with Thad" I tell them before recounting the events so far.

"She knocked him out with another chair" Topper laughed and we all grinned, a light moment in the midst of our worry.

"You said he accused her of losing them business, I bet that was the twins doing" Topper said explaining about the Vaccine project and Vaughn Chemicals link to it and I grabbed my phone and called them.

"Little brother?" Comso's voice came over the speaker.

"You pulled Vaughn Chemicals?" I asked him.

"How did you know about that?" he questioned back and we could hear Cassian in the background asking what was going on.

"Fuck it Cos, a bit of warning next time" I growled at him, fury in every word and I heard Cassian shout "What the fuck" before Topper grabbed my phone and took it off speaker, stepping away from me to explain what had happened this end with the Vaughns'

When Topper once again hit the speaker button, I had calmed down considerably, knowing it wasn't their fault, it was just unfortunate.

"What do you need us to do?" Cosmo asked and I shared a look with my brothers.

"Bury them, I want to bury them all" I said aloud, all of us murmuring agreement.

"Done, we will get that ball rolling for you" Cassian says then Cosmo asks "How is she?"

"She with Thad" I repeat, and whilst I am itching to go and find them to make sure she is okay, I know she is safe with Thad and he will be looking after her.

"We will be back tomorrow, and we'll bring any info we can get for you with us" Cassian replies breaking me from my musings about Thad and Per, and I don't get a chance to say bye before they have rung off.

"Come on" Ru says getting up, "lets go back to the pool house, we can brainstorm there and wait for Thad to return her"

All evidence of the attack is gone as we walk through the door, Ru heading for the games console, and setting it up for us, I know he is giving us something to do, keeping us occupied until she's back with us.

It's getting late when Thad finally carries her into the house, both of them very rumpled and Per almost asleep. It's clear to see what they have been doing and I wondered where till I saw the camera hanging from Per's hand. They'd been in the attic.

"Hey" Thad says coming over to join us, carefully placing Per down on the sofa between Rupert and Topper before dropping into a chair and grinning at us.

"You okay baby" Ru asks her, cupping her chin and lifting her gaze to his,

"Oh yes" she whispers out, totally relaxed and pliant as Ru grins and eases her sideway across his lap, Topper, lifting her feet and cradling them in his lap, his fingers moving from the controller to her feet and her low groan as her massaged the ball of her foot was beautiful.

"How did it go?" Thad asked me, his gaze flicking between Per and I, he couldn't keep his eyes off her, not that I blamed him, she was exquisite, but I sent a worried look her way.

"Please Ivo, tell us, I am okay, I promise" she called from her place on Ruperts lap, her eyes on mine.

I told them what had happened from the time Thad had taken her out of the study, explaining about the Police, about the twins actions and a then explaining what I wanted to do to everyone that had hurt her.

"I don't care about them, any of them, I just don't want them to hurt you and if you go after the Vaughn's or my parents they may do that. Promise me you will be careful, I don't want you or your family upset by them" she tells me and I smile.

"Thank you baby" I tell her, getting up and moving closer, to lean over Rupert's leg and claim her lips. "I promise" I tell her before pulling back and sharing a grin with all my brothers, the game was on.

First the Vaughn's then her parents, no-one would hurt her again.

She fell asleep soon afterwards and Rupert carried her up to bed as we turned on Thad, peppering him with questions about her mind after the attack. It was clear she had quickly forgotten the attack, happily focusing on her time with Thad.

When Rupert had returned we had sat around the kitchen bar and snacked between planning the downfall of her enemies. there would be a lot of work to do but with the families behind us and Per's permission to go after them (as long as we were careful) we knew we would win in the end.

Nothing could stop us.
