《| His Secretary | KTH ✔️》Part 16

"Trip?" You quivered your brows once Jungkook completed saying. After his arrival, you found him lingering in your office every now and then. He was also into business and was learning work from both of his brothers. If he wasn't at the Kim Industries, then he would be at the Kim Corporations, which was handled by Seokjin.
"Yeah carrot! Just imagine how amazing it would be." He leaned towards the desk of your cubicle. "And who is going for this trip, bun?" You say while typing on the computer. He can roam around freely but you clearly can't! "We. Of course." He shrugged his shoulders but frowned at your lack of attention.
"Yaah!" You directed towards him who now tapped on the desktop to finally gain your eyes on him. "Now that I have your whole attention my lady, please shower me with your wise opinion." You chuckled seeing his overdramatic self bow in front of you. Your other colleagues laughed at him too.
"If you are going then I will come too." You pulled his nose making his bunny smile appear but it dropped after hearing a very familiar and firm voice from behind. "Done with all the chit-chats? Then get back to work everybody." Taehyung roared angrily once after putting his glaring eyes on you. You gulped nervously. Not because you were scared of him. You were actually nervous.
After the small stunt which was pulled by him, most probably both of you, where you two almost kissed each other, you have been getting alerted in his presence. You couldn't control the way your heartbeats were going frenzy around him and everything about him was just fascinating you to a different level. You would reason your overthinking about him for the way you were feeling but the attraction was certainly undeniable.
He wasn't also in a very good condition either. The man who would once used to think and in a way romanticise his work was now getting midnight, early mornings and late evenings thoughts of his secretary, you. You invaded not only his mind but his sleep too and now even your sight and voice would send him to a fantastical state of all the goodies. Truly euphoric.
But currently, the way you were chilling out was torturing him because certainly you were smiling widely with adoration in your eyes for another man. His heart was burning and the way it did was evident in his eyes but everything was shaded behind his cold personality like always. "Hyung I- " "Jeon Jungkook. It's sir here." He glared at the younger who pouted a little but still nodded his head. He was already reminded a number of times to call him sir in the office premises but this little pumpkin would always forget it.

"And why didn't you pass me my schedule today?" He looked back at you. "I have emailed it to you already." you defended. "And that's it? Who will do the explanation? Don't make me regret selecting you as my secretary Miss Lee." You frowned mentally as he walked away and Jungkook just passed you a casual wink with a confused shrug making you smile a little. You raised your finger and put it beside your temple gesturing that "he is crazy" to which Jungkook put his thumbs up, agreeing with you.
"May I come in sir?" You spoke under gritted teeths. You were angry at him. Of course you were. He just cannot yell at you like that. Especially when you did sort of nothing to get scolded. "Come." You stepped in, standing in front of him with your notepad. "I would appreciate it if you quit gossiping and concentrate more on work when in office." He chimed and you held onto your notepad tightly, trying to keep yourself calm.
"Sure sir. I am sorry." You looked down, sulking to yourself. "Now let's talk about some business Miss Lee. Only if you are done with your carrot and bun sh*ts!" He grunted making you frown more. "Yaah! You can't mock the nickname which I gave him." Your remark made him instantly look up at you. "I am mocking your unprofessionalism. Don't you know how to behave with your colleagues and how to call them inside an office?" His grip on the file tightened.
"But the colleague you are talking about is my long term friend and I will call him whatever I feel like. Be it bun, bunny, baby, babe-" "Stop your nonsense!" His growl made you stop immediately but you still threw glares at him and so did he. "Anyways you have a lunch meeting with the director of the Kang's group in an hour and if you sit here debating over the nicknames that I give to my friends then we will be late for it, sirrr!" You coated sweetly while dragging the sir part with a forced smile on your lips.
You saw him sigh harshly before standing up. He loosened a button of his coat before walking out of the cabin muttering a blunt, "Follow me." You rolled your eyes making a few faces behind him but still followed him behind.

You were upset. And so was your stomach. You wanted to cry right now but still you cannot react properly. Seated in a Porsche restaurant, you groaned internally as the two businessmen in front of you were talking but you didn't want to concentrate on them as your stomach was growling. Mr. Kang was an old guy and hence had a number of health issues to deal with. So the food that he ordered for himself was healthy.

You understand his issue but what about Kim Taehyung? Why on earth was he eating all these green leaves?
"This new product launch will be the best till date. My employees have worked really hard on this project and they are trustworthy." Mr Kang continued. "We have had a business relationship for a long time, Mr. Kang. We surely know your efficiency." Taehyung nodded, letting his eyes fall on a disturbed you.
"Why aren't you eating?" He directed towards you, asiding the boiled beans before eating them. You scrunch your nose in irritation. "I don't have an appetite." You tried to be as polite as possible but the way he smirked made you realise that he was well aware of your situation.
Aww Miss Lee!!
"Miss y/n. Such a young lady you are. You should eat more and stay healthy." Mr Kang smiled before pushing the vegetable soup and a plate of salad bomb forward. You smiled awkwardly at him. "I am really not h-hungry sir." You folded your lips inside out of nervousness of having to eat it. "Cummon young lady. A little won't hurt."
Why are you insisting on me so much, old man? I ain't a cow.
You mentally cried. "Yes Miss Lee. It's not at all chivalrous of us to eat while you sit there without even touching the food." Taehyung spoke making you grind your teeths, slickly glaring at him but nonetheless took the soup bowl.
How bad can it taste? I am sure it won't be very bad.
You prepared yourself before taking a spoonful of the soup and gulping it. Sh*t! This tastes yuck! Why on earth am I supposed to drink this yuck thingy?
Your facial features dismantled as furrowed lines appeared on your forehead while your nose crumpled up in fits. Taehyung found it difficult to maintain a straight face seeing you as you looked really funny to him. Throwing a forced smile at Mr. Kang, you pretended to enjoy the meal but in reality you were dying.
Leaving you struggling with the soup, Taehyung continued his discussions with him while you jotted down the important points along with having your delicious lunch.
A sigh of relief left your mouth as soon as Mr. Kang departed and before Taehyung could call out for you, he saw you quickly run away to somewhere. "This girl!!" He squirmed under his breath but decided to wait for you in the car.
"Where the hell did you go away like that?" He directed towards you as soon as you took the passenger's seat beside him.
You raised the cup of noodles which you were holding answering his question through your gesture. "You have no idea how hungry I was and I still am." You spoke with a mouthful of food. "But you just had your lunch. Didn't you?" He smirked, raising his brow before starting the car.
"You call that a lunch? Even a herbivore animal won't eat so much green leaves and vegetables!" You almost cried and ironically he giggled hearing you. This was the first time you saw him smile this properly in front of you. "You looked really funny Miss Lee. I guess you should work in a circus as a clown. It would suit you better." He laughed merrily and you noticed how his lips curved into a big boxy smile.
Unknowingly a soft smile spreaded on your lips too as you stopped your eating midway to adore the heartfelt laughter of your cold boss. The fact that he was calling you a clown didn't anger you, instead a warmth was spread across your heart with every giggle that escaped his lips.
"Your smile is so adorable. Then why don't smile more?" Your sudden comment made him stop immediately and you noticed how the corner of his eyes brimmed with slight tears due to excessive laughing. He looked at you, his laugh converting into a smile and then his lips formed a straight line.
He grew a little cautious as you looked at him with a heavy gaze and he blinked his eyes before letting out a small cough. "Umm...I am not cr-crazy like you to laugh all the time. I do laugh when there are reasons to laugh." You frowned a little but still broke into a small smile.
The car drive went silent as you engage yourself in eating your noodles while he was busy in controlling his raged heartbeats which quickened with your genuine compliment, making a constant smile play on his lips.
He was blushing!
