《Church Boy |Yoonmin|》XXI

Bright lights flash onto the boys, the two slowly raising their hands. The police men flashed their light against the dead body while the rest head over to the three unconscious teens.
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be held against you."
Cops cuff both of the boys who keep quiet. They were escorted out of the house, helicopters circling the crime scene while paramedics ran into the house to attend to the injured.
"We have the murderer and accomplice in hand."
The two over hear a nearby cop mutter into a walkie talkie, the two being shoved into the cops car. They both were taken to a nearby police station for questioning. Namjoon and Jimin sat in a cold white room waiting for a detective to come in to get it done and over with.
Namjoon stared at the large dark glass in front of them, knowing that they were being examined on the other side.
"Hurry up. I have more important things to do."
He raises his voice not knowing that he shocked the detectives on the other side.
The door swings open to reveal a police chief along with a their partner who carried a stack of folders and a cup of coffee in the other.
"Hello, I am detective Laura and this is my partner Mark."
They take a seat across from the teens.
"It's not looking pretty. You both could be in prison for second degree murder and intrusion."
"We didn't murder anyone for fun."
The older male sighs.
"Then do explain. I'm quite interested to hear your part of the story."
So Namjoon began to tell his part.
"So you broke in to save his family?"
"Yes."
"You stabbed him in the neck because he almost sexually assualted your friend here?"

She nods at Jimin.
"Yes. My friends who are currently being treated helped but you see how it turned out."
"Would you like to add to the story?"
Laura suggests to the youngest.
"He had my mother and brother locked in a closet since the day I left. "
"Is that so? Mark, go give Detective John a call and tell him to search the house for further evidence."
Her assistant gets up, exiting the room.
"I also have evidence when I still lived with him. He would beat me for being....homosexual. He was agressive, he even beat my mother and brother."
"Where's the evidence?"
"In my phone. I left it at my frie-"
Namjoon stepped on his foot, immediately making Jimin reevaluate what he was about to say.
"My boyfriend's house."
"And who's that?"
"Min Yoongi."
"Well, you two are going to be held in cells for the time being until further evidence comes up."
She sighs, more police men coming in to escort the two to their cells. They were atleast allowed to phone someone as Namjoon immediately dials Jin who gives them the hospitals location. They explain that they were held in jail till the time being so they'd have to wait it out.
//The Next Day//
The two had been questioned and had been cleared for the most part. They were at least allowed to visit there's friends as long they were escorted by policemen. They swiftly head over there and once reaching the large building they make their way up to the sixteenth floor.
Knocking on the door they're immediately pulled in by Jin, who shuts the door behind them, leaving the policemen outside.
"They're all in here, they're just resting."
The dark room was enlightened by three small lamps on the nightstands beside the three injured, giving off a warm glowy gold.

Namjoon made his way down to Hoseok while Jimin to Yoongi.
"Oh god."
He gasped, cupping Yoongi's hand.
The injured teen slumbered peacefully, medical bandage wrapped around his head.
"I'm so sorry."
Jimin hiccuped, large salty tears rolling down his cheeks.
"My selfishness go you three into this. I-I-"
"Jimin. It's not your fault."
A warm hand pats him behind his back, turning to see Jin standing there with a relaxed expression.
"B-But....I-"
"You did the right thing. Imagine if we postponed this days, weeks, or months. For all we know your mother and Jihyun could've.....i'm glad we did this."
Jimin thanked Jin for his wise words, feeling Yoongi stir.
"Jungkook is down at the cafeteria, he's not doing so good. He broke down when he saw Taehyung, we should go check up on him."
Jin beckons Namjoon to join him, the two leaving the room. The room was quiet, the slow and steady breathing of his friends were accompanied with the dials of the monitors.
"Jee- mean....."
Jimin whips around to see Yoongi muttering, his eyelashes fluttering in distress.
"Shhh, i'm here."
He ushers.
He watches Yoongi stir even more, his eye slowly opening.
"Hu..h, w...where-"
Before he could finish his sentence he was tackled into a strong embrace, Jimin now sobbing in pure joy.
"Jimin? Why are you crying?"
Yoongi felt his dress gown soak up the boys wet tears, feeling grateful to have him safely in his arms.
"I wish I could've protected-"
"N-No. Shut up, i'm glad you guys are alive."
Jimin said between heavy breaths.
The other three came into the room, rushing to join the two.
"You're awake."
Jungkook softly smiles, yet it didn't reach his eyes. He was clearly happy to see his friend doing well but his heart ached because he didn't have enough courage to run into the house to help. If only he went in with them, maybe it wouldn't have made a difference but to him he wished he was there when his friends needed him the most.
"I'm sorry..."
Jungkook whispered, tears spilling out of his eyes.
"Woah? No, you have nothing to apologize for-"
Jin was hastedly cut off.
"If only I was there. The only time you guys needed me, I let my cowardness get in the way and look where it brung you guys."
He sobbed into his hands, his friends pulling him into a hug.
"You did an amazing job. You gave us enough time to save Jimin's family, you dialed nine one one, helped carry your injured friends to recieve medical attention, you did so much for us."
Everyone agreed, the crying stopped and there were no more tears left to cry.
"We have court session next week. All of us."
Jin muttered under his breath, everyone eyeing each other with worrisome looks.
"You don't think Namjoon would be sentenced to prison, do you?"
Jimin panics.
"We'll see."
Is all Namjoon could manage to say.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
