Despite the 4 years friendship with Winter; Minjeong, Jimin kept a secret to herself.
She do have a crush on the younger girl, in some aspect. Aeri was right.
Minjeong always ask Jimin about her whereabouts. Sometimes, Minjeong wouldn't mind to spent most of her times reading to Jimin's nonsense chat. When Jimin was in badmood, it seems like only Minjeong cared about how she felt.
That's what makes Jimin took a liking to the younger girl, even tho she didn't want to admit it for now.
But she guess, now Aeri knows about it.
"How did you know?", Jimin asked as she took her sit on the the couch, right next to Aeri who currently watching something on the tv.
"About what? You like Minjeong?", Aeri asked and Jimin shyly nodding her head.
"It's just too obvious. I've been your housemates for 4 years now. Everytime I saw you having some chats with her on Instagram, you always smiling to your ears. I don't even understand why did you smile so happily. Your eyes... zapped!", Aeri gesturing her fingers onto her eyes, then swinging it forward and backwards repeatedly.
"You eyes was just full of love and excitement just by looking at your damn phone!"
"Enough. I see...", Jimin stopped the japanese words since she's too embarrassed to hear more about it.
"Now that you know that Winter was Minjeong, how did you feel?", Aeri shifting her eyes to look at her bestfriend who was now red as tomato, strawberry, and fire truck.
"Hmmm.... I somehow... glad that Minjeong was Winter..."
"Why?", Aeri came closer to the shy girl, looking at her in a teasing way. It's so much fun to see Jimin acting like this.
"Because... Minjeong... wasn't bad...", Jimin answered.

"She's beautiful, right? Just admit it!", Aeri continue teasing her bestfriend.
"You was too happy to know that Winter was Minjeong. She's beautiful, cute, kind. You've got yourself a perfect one to have crush on~", Aeri poking Jimin's shoulder, only making the Korean girl looking away in embarassment.
Jimin suddenly stand up from the couch, running away towards her room and slammed the door hard. Aeri just chuckled after watching how silly Jimin is when she's in that kind of situation.
"Geez, shy girl~"
Minjeong arrived at the golf class earlier than Jimin. Currently the younger girl was waiting for the other girl, as she was surrounded by other students who is all boys.
Minjeong was flustered. She felt she was being cornered. So she end up standing at the corner side of the open field, looking only at the grass as she tried to avoid any eye contact with all humans beside her.
Not until one boy spoke to her.
"Hey you there"
Minjeong didn't realized that the boy was calling her out. She keep looking downwards, her minds still in the cloud.
"Hey you there, girl!"
Being the only girl there for time being, Minjeong slightly lifted her head up as she realized that the boy was calling her out. Minjeong just glancing as minimum as she can to the boy who currently looking at her with his grin.
"Y-Yes..."
"Are you close with Karina?", the boy asked. Pretend not to know anything who the hell is this 'Karina', Minjeong played innocent by saying "Who's Karina?".
The boy rolled his eyes in annoyance as he called his friends up with only some hand gestures of his. Soon enough, Minjeong knew that there's about 5 boys standing right next to her. Minjeong was scared to be honest.

"The other golf girl. She's an instafamous, Karina. Did you know her name? Are you close with her?", the boy keep asking.
Minjeong keeping her silence even tho she felt that the 5 boys beside her was a threat to her introvert self. She tried to be brave not to sell Jimin's real name to her fans.
"I-I don't know. You guys can ask her herself later..."
Minjeong answers only making the boys more annoyed than ever. They smirked towards each other before looking at Minjeong again, somewhat in a bit anger from their intonation.
"Lies!"
"You are the only girl here beside Karina. It's impossible for you not to know her real name!"
"Are you trying to make fun of us?"
"We are her fans! Why won't you help us out?"
"Come on! Spill the tea!"
This is the reason why Minjeong don't want to reveal her real self to Karina; Jimin. Now she could see the threats and danger she could get from this.
Scared. Minjeong slightly moving few steps away from the boys but one step she moved, the boys following her right away.
"Hey! Just tell us couldn't you?"
"Why are you running away? We wouldn't kill you"
Even the boys didn't mean any harm, this is definitely a threat to Minjeong. She wished she could just disappear right now. She just want to be alone.
"Hey! Stop talking to her!"
A familiar voice could be heard on the golf field. Minjeong knows who is coming to save her day, but she just wasn't brave enough to lift her head up. She closed her eyes in relief as she wait for that certain person to push this ruccus away from her.
"Oh, hi Karina!"
"She finally came!"
"She's so beautiful~"
"We're your fans!"
Ignoring all the words and praises from the boys, Jimin headed straight to Minjeong. She held the younger girl's hand tight, slightly bending her body down to have a look on the younger girl's panic face.
"Hey... Are you okay?", Jimin asked, looking at the younger girl's face full of concern while her hands still holding Minjeong's hand tightly.
Minjeong finally opened her eyes as she know that she was saved from the attention.
"I'm fine. Thanks~", Minjeong smiled, looking at Jimin's face who still concerning about the situation. Still holding the younger girl's hand to protect her, Jimin turn her attention to the 5 boys who currently waiting patiently, a meter away from where she and Minjeong was standing.
"Hey. Thanks for being my fan, but please don't include other person in your interest if you want to know about me. You should ask me myself. Don't bother an innocent person in this matter. I'm begging you"
Jimin said to the boys. Her eyes somehow glaring to all of 'em, making them flinched and scratching their heads and necks out of guilty, or maybe awkwardness.
After the boys apologised, Jimin bringing her attention back to the girl beside her.
"Minjeong-ah, I'm really sorry for this. The next time we have golf classes, I promise to fetch you from your home so we could come here together. Is that okay with you?"
Minjeong lifted her head up, looking at Jimin who still looking at her with her concern face. To loose the tense on the situation, Minjeong replied the older girl kindness with a brightful smile of her's.
"Alright then~"

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.

A man finds himself lost and far away from his home and this is his story. I know the description isn't much to go on but I'm going to leave it like that in hopes that people end up curious enough to give the story a read. Fair warning, this is my first time writing a novel and honestly would love some constructive criticism. leave a comment below the chapters if you find anything that should be corrected or if you have any questions. PS: I'm really into RPGs and the story is going to reflect that obsession.
