I wished upon the stars, oh how I wished it would be somewhere peaceful where we could talk.

Where the fairies roam and the mushrooms grow next to the castle I had built long ago.

Where the world is so kind.

So gentle.

As I foolishly followed your footsteps I never noticed the trap you had set long before hand.

I wouldn't say I'm naïve for sure.

I never noticed I was falling until after I had hit the cold, wet, hard floor.

I- I realized how bad it had felt when I had to pick myself up.

The thorns that I stepped on how they made me bleed on my hands and knees.

So sore.

I remember how I cried, no one was there.

No one to hold me in my despair.

I cried as I washed myself clean of filth and the blood you made me bleed.

It's time I do something about it.

It is time I speak up and tell my truth.

How I fell through your dirty little trap you set just for me.

Who knew the beautiful forest, the leaves, and even you could hide such horrid secrets from me.

How you and the forest, whom I thought I knew, played me so dirty.
