Raphael hadn't been seen for months. Leo knew it was his fault, all of it. Once he told his family why Raphael left all hell broke loose.

Splinter was more than furious, Mikey even yelled at him, Donatello locked himself up in his lab, Casey gave him a black eye, April slapped him.

"If ANYONE should leave it should be you! How dare you hurt him like that?! He was so GOOD to you!" April screamed. Casey held her as she cried. Splinter told Leonardo to go mediate. It grew quiet, only sharp breaths from April could be heard. As for Raphael, he was long gone. He left to the other side of the city and there he stayed.

Raphael stood on the edge of the building looking at the cars silently. He changed his look eventually and made himself a black mask with red on the tips and was much longer than all of his brothers. His wraps went past his knees now and higher on his arms and more around his hands too. He changed. He wanted to look in the mirror and not recognize himself.

He sighed and saw his breath in the air, it was much colder than last night. He got lost in his thoughts about surviving winter. Soft steps from behind him drew him out of his thoughts. There familiar click to them, he knew the person in the boots he had meet her recently; boy what a charm she was.

"Raphael." She said calmly standing besides him. He gave a small nod "Kat." He said back. "Thought I lost you back there.." She said crossing her arms. He only nodded. "Never seen you fight like that. Who was she?" Kat looked at him. He looked away. "You don't have to say it's fine." She said softly. He nodded and sat down. She sat with him leaning a head on his shoulder.

"So...tough guy. Tonight is throw tomato Tuesday. Wanna join me? I heard a fancy dinner is happening around here, which means fancy cars." He finally looked at her "hell yeah. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Can't wait for Wall paint Wednesday." He smirked. Kat grinned "me neither. I know it's your favorite day of the week. I bought new colors." She said patting his back. "Phoenix is going to join us. My friend is going to baby sit Skyler, so no worries there." Kat stretched. Raphael nodded "sweet." He smirked

"Let's go get are stuff for tonight." Kat stood, Raphael followed "awe yeah~" Raph put his hands in the air. He looked at cats ears as they twitched and listened to the sounds of the city. He felt happy with new people. He like this change, but he missed Leo. He was this space in his heart no one could fill. He chose not to think to much of it. He didn't want him to think about the pain. He wanted to get over him. He had to. Eventually...
