Okay I know Baki has Kozue but the anime title is literally his name so it'd be weird to not have him in this book at all XD
The glaring sunlight streamed through the window blinds into your eyes as you groaned in annoyance. As you turned around to look at the clock you realised its already 8am which means you're going to be late for school! “SHIT AAAAAAHH!” as you scrambled into the bathroom to get yourself ready for school. Dashing straight downstairs with your bag and slipping on your shoes hastily as you dashed out of the front door with your mother calling after your name and yelling something about breakfast. Which you were too much in a hurry to hear.
As you were running through the streets in a frenzy you decided to take a shortcut to school instead, making a sharp turn to your left you crashed into a hard wall. Except, it wasn't a wall, it was rather a someone. Now sitting flat on the floor you snapped your head upwards towards the person. He had a messy mop of maroon hair and striking golden pools for eyes, his buff stature was towering over you, probably around 5'5". Not really tall for a guy but still towers over you (if ur not a short person, just pretend u r in this story haha). “Ah. Sorry. Here, lemme help you up.” he offered his hands to you as you daintily put your smaller hands in his. “Sorry its my bad. I should've slowed down round the corner and see where I was going...” you awkwardly apologised. "“Its okay hehe. My name's Baki Hanma. You can just call Baki. What's yours?” he beamed. “(Y/N), my name's (Y/N)(L/N). Nice to meet you...” you could feel a. Imaginary sweatdrop forming above your head from all the awkwardness. Just then you realised you were hurrying your ass to school and that you were super late. “Ah! I'm sorry I gotta go! I'm running late for school. Its nice meeting you tho!” you waved as you started running towards the direction of your school leaving Baki in confusion.

As the lunch bell echoed through the hallways of the school, you dragged your dispirited body to the cafeteria where you tried to find a place to sit and enjoy your warm lunch bit there wasn't any empty seats or tables left so you just trudged upstairs to the rooftop of the school with ur lunch box and favorite manga in hands. The day has already started off real bad with forgetting to set your alarm, coming into class extremely late which caused you an hour of detention and lastly crashing into a stranger. Speaking of that boy... What was his name again? You thought to yourself. Suddenly, your thoughts was interrupted by a familiar voice calling your name. Turning to the direction of the voice you saw the boy from earlier this morning making his way towards you. Speak of the devil you snickered to yourself.
“Heya didn't know you went to the same school as me uhhh...” you trailed off forgetting his name “Baki. Forgotten my name already?” he laughed. “Sorry. I'm really bad at remembering people's names especially the ones I just met.” you confessed. “Its okay, I see you're a fan of fighting mangas huh?” “Yeah kind of... Depends really.” as the two of you continued to get to know each other more you learned he does martial arts and is the son of the infamous Yujiro Hanma, the Ogre. You couldn't help but find his whole life interesting and slowly and steady the two of you created a friendship bond. Little did you know it would turn into something much more.

Path of Boundless Adventure
When Mana flooded back to Earth after billions of years, most felt lost in the new world. Some managed to adapt. For Michael, he felt like he'd finally found his path. Follow him as he fights monsters, explores new lands and most of all, seeks adventure. This is my first novel, never written anything before, so please be kind and patient with me, I'm doing my best. A more light-hearted post-apocalyptic novel with large amounts of game elements. MC has a unique advantage but is not massively overpowered and there's more of a focus on exploring and discovering new things rather than defeating a series of arch-nemesis' or building an empire. Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
