"Fine"I give in. "I saw you making out with Gabbie last night"I say. "So now you're following or what?"Ethan says with a scoff. "N-No"I say. "Well look" Ethan says sliding his hands down my arms and grabbing my hands. "It was nothing,we were just drunk"Ethan says. "Well answer this"I say then continue, "would you be okay if I made out with a guy just because we were drunk?"I asked Ethan. It's always okay for guys to do things such as these but when girls do it ,we get shamed for it. "No I wouldn't be okay with it,but that's because I love you"Ethan says.

Ahh,there it is the L word. I didn't love Ethan,not the way he loved me,but I couldn't let him know that.

"No Ethan,none of this is okay. Us,this,we are not okay"I admitted. Finally I said it,I said something!

"All you do is push me around and treat me like a puppet. Don't don't this,don't do that. I'm tired of it Ethan,I give you all the freedom in the world and you cheat on me. I've never mistreated you Ethan,never".

"Look I'm sorry. I really am"Ethan says. "No,I don't care,your apologies mean nothing to me"I say as I turned around,preparing to walk away from Ethan like the badass that I am. "Wait Beks"Ethan says as he grabbed my wrist. "I'm leaving Ethan"I say snatching my wrist with force. Ethan doesn't say anything for a few seconds,but I could see the anger building up in his eyes.

"Well fine,I don't need you"Ethan says before giving me a shove to the ground. You've got to be kidding me,not in public.

Ethan walks away and all I could do was hold back the anger building up -as I collected my things off of the ground. I felt so stupid for staying and I felt so stupid for not telling anyone.

"Hey,need some help?"I hear a voice ask. I look up to see Alex,he was wearing grey sweatpants and a black shirt,the ultimate thirst trap outfit. I look at him then stare back down. "How much longer are you going to ignore me?" Alex says dropping his shoulders. "I don't know,ask my father"I sassed. "Don't be like that"Alex says. "Stop telling me what to do,I'm sick of people telling me what to do.Look ,why are you even here?"I sassed once more. "It's a mall" Alex retorted, "Are you okay?".

I let out a sigh, and drop my shoulders, "No,I'm not okay" I say as I got up from the ground frustratedly rubbed my hands down my face.

Alex hugged me and I didn't move,I didn't want to pull away,but I did. I allowed my pride to get the best of me. "Do you want to talk?"Alex suggested. I shrugged my shoulders as a sign of yes.

"My car's over here"Alex says as he pointed his car key in front of his car ,pressing the unlock button.

Alex and I spoke for almost three hours ,I updated him on what was going on in my life,including Ethan's treatment,he wasn't to happy about that one.

"Hey I forgot to ask"Ethan says as he gets into his car and slams his door shut,I follow in his footsteps and do the same. "Yeah?"I ask. "Does my sister know about Ethan?"Alex asked. Why did I know that was coming? "No,and please don't say anything. I'm not ready to tell her yet"I admitted. "Alright but you're going to have to tell her eventually" Alex says. "Soon. I promise"I say giving Alex a smile.

"God,you're so beautiful"Alex says admiring my features. I couldn't help but smile. "Why do you let him treat you like this?". I didn't even know the answer to that question,all I can say for now is that because i'm stupid. "You deserve better"Alex continues. "I know,it was a dumb mistake"I admitted. "Why don't you just leave?"Alex asks. "It's not that easy" I responded. "But it is,why don't we ju-"I cut Alex off, "Just stop Alex!I told you it's not that easy!"I yell. The car becomes silent. All you could hear was the air conditioner and my heavy breathing.

"Kiss me"I demanded towards Alex. "What?"Alex scoffed.

I leaned over and began to aggressively kiss Alex. We knew where this was going so we took it to the backseats.Alex stopped in the middle of us kissing, "In the malls parking lot?"he asked. "Just shut up"I demanded with a gentle laugh towards the end of my sentence. I took my shirt off and began to kiss Alex right after. He slid his pants off and we passionately went at it.
