After I assured Aiden that Abigail was okay that they were just playing around, I got a brilliant idea. I haven't done anything with him yet and I know it's been a while since he's been outside and able to let his wolf run. I thought maybe we could go for a run together.

I turned to him and said, "hey how do you feel about going outside? We could go for a run together, let our wolves out?"

He looked at me, his eyes shining bright as a big smile spreads across his face. "Really, y-you'd let me go outside?"

I was a little taken back by it. What did he think, I would never let him go outside? Is that how they treated him at his old pack, never let him out? The thought made my blood boil but I quickly pushed that aside and smiled back at him.

"Of course! You're not a prisoner here." I said softly.

"So what do you say?" He nodded his head so quickly I thought it was going to fly off. I chuckled at him and ruffled his hair, "come on let's go then."

He hopped out of his seat with a bounce in his step and followed me outside.

Once we're outside the pack house his demeanor changed once he noticed all the people outside going on about their day. The smile fell from his face and he looked afraid. His eyes were darting around at all the different people.

He shuffled closer to me. He got a little too close and I almost ran his foot over with the darn wheelchair! The incident caused him to stumble and fall forward. I reached down picking him up and put him on my lap.

His eyes shot open big in surprise. His arms went around my neck to balance himself. His cheeks flushed with embarrassment then hid his face in my chest as if trying to disappear.

I chuckled at his cute reaction and kissed the top of his head then continued towards the edge of the woods. He stayed like that but stole glances around every now and then. When he would notice someone looking he would hide his face again in my chest.

We made our way into the woods to a spot I normally shift at. "Let's go ahead and shift here." I said.

When he lifted his face away from my chest his cheeks flushed again with embarrassment from his position. I couldn't help chuckling at his cute red cheeks.

He got up and looked around for a moment then went behind a tree for some privacy to change and shift.

I practically shifted from my chair. I removed my clothes from where I was sitting. I folded everything neatly then lean forward a bit and set everything down on the seat behind me.

I push myself forward and shifted into my wolf in one motion and landed on all four paws.

I shook my fur out and start sniffing around. When I turned around I was stunned. My heart literally skipped a beat and took my breath away at the sight before me. His wolf was the most stunning wolf I'd ever seen!

He was pure white and his eyes were such a bright sparkling blue, they almost seem like they were glowing.

It took me a moment to break out of my frozen state and pick my jaw off the ground.

I slowly started walking toward his wolf and nuzzled against his neck. His wolf nuzzled me back. His wolf suddenly dropped his front end down with his butt in the air wagging his tail in a playful manner.

He was signaling to me that he wanted to play so I obliged. His wolf took off through the woods and I gave chase.

I was horrified when Xander threw his chair back with so much force and tossed my sister over his shoulder. He looked furious! I thought, oh my goodness what happened, what did she do wrong? I didn't remember seeing her do anything wrong.

I was horrified when he smacked her on the ass so hard. It was so loud it echoed off the walls making me flinch.

I was getting ready to panic I didn't know what to do to help her. Oh goddess he's going to kill her for sure I thought.

Thaddeus put his hand on my shoulder and cupped my cheek with his right hand. "Calm down, she's okay. They are just playing around, Xander would never hurt her." He said in a calm voice.

He smiled warmly at me and I heard Marcus chuckling. I looked over to see Marcus still lightly laughing.

Zendaya had a warm smile on her face. "Oh honey you don't have to worry, they're perfectly fine. He's not going to hurt her. They're mates, he would never hurt her, they're just playing." She said in a sweet voice friendly voice that calmed me down.

Thaddeus placed his hand on mine and gave it a light squeeze. I look back and he had a warm smile on his face still. I finally relaxed and smiled back.

I was so surprised when Thaddeus asked me if I wanted to go outside and let our wolves run.

The thought of going outside made me so excited. I almost jumped up and ran outside at the thought of it.

My wolf was so excited he was yipping and prancing around in my head.

I suddenly remembered how I was never allowed to go outside at my old pack. I was never allowed to go out to even let my wolf run.

The only time my wolf and I have ever been outside was when we ran away.

That was the first time he was ever able to run.

At my old pack I would shift in the basement and let him walk around and stretch his legs.

But that was only when we had enough strength. Half the time I was too weak from lack of food or too weak from the beatings.

My wolf would put all his energy into healing us. He wouldn't have enough for himself most of the time. He would have to hibernate in the back of my mind afterwards until he regained enough energy again. This made it rare for us to be able to shift.

So I was surprised that he said we could go outside. He's an alpha... Is he really going to let me go outside?

He looked puzzled that I asked him if I could really go outside.

"Of course! You're not a prisoner here." He said with a smile on his face.

I was hesitant to believe him but all I saw was sincerity in his eyes and the warm reassuring smile.

"So what do you say?"

I quickly nodded my head and he chuckled then ruffled hair.

I glared at him for that, not liking that he ruffled my hair like a child and messed up my hair. I don't think he seen me though.
