(Aiden, waking up)

After the meeting with Alpha Michael we headed down to the cell to interrogate the rogue from the other night. No matter how much we tortured him he would not give us any information. I left him passed out and had the doctor go tend to him so that we can continue tomorrow. I don't want him dying on me until I can get some information out of him.

I just got back into the pack house. I'm going to use the shower down here because I'm covered in blood and I don't want to scare Aiden going into the room looking like this.

By the time I headed up to the room it was already almost midnight. I'm sure Aiden's already asleep.

I quietly go into the room, not wanting to wake, or scare him.

As soon as I get in there and shut the door I look over at the bed. He's laying there sleeping all wrapped up in the sheets. He has the sheets wrapped in tangled all around his legs, with one foot sticking out. I noticed he's cuddling up to my pillow and smiled.

I can't believe how cute he looks.

It made me smile so big. I go into the bathroom to get ready for bed then come back out and as quietly as I can climb out of my chair and onto the chaise.

I woke up at 8:00am and Aiden is still sleeping. I can't believe I actually slept in. Normally I wake up around 6:00am.

I get into my chair and go over to Aiden and just look at him.

The sun is coming through the windows. It looks like sun is shining down on him. The blankets are down a bit exposing the upper half of his back. The sun rays dancing across his skin.

He's sleeping on his stomach and facing my direction.

I reach over and brushed the hair away from his forehead. He slowly opens those beautiful eyes and looks at me.

I swear it took my breath away. He's perfect, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

I ran my hand down the side of his face and gently stroked his cheek with my thumb.

He stiffened up so I took my hand back and smiled at him then said, "good morning!"

He relaxed after that and just laid there looking at me for moment then adjusted his head, "good morning." He said softly.

I felt my heart accelerate. His voice is like music to my ears. It's so soft and sweet.

I can get lost in his eyes and that sweet voice.

His stomach grumble quite loudly causing him to blushed and hide his face in the pillow.

Oh fuck, how cute!

I chuckled at him then said, "come on let's get dressed and go down and get you something to eat."

I backed up and went into the closet to get dressed. When I came back out he was sitting on the edge of the bed looking nervous.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

He started playing with his fingers and bit his lip. Damn I wanted to go over there and pull that bottom lip out and suck on it!

I had to clear my throat to stop myself from what I was thinking. He looked up at me then looked back down and stuttered,

"Ma-may I use your ba-bathroom?"

I was dumbfounded. Why would he ask to use the bathroom, something so simple? Do they not allow him to use a bathroom or something I wondered to myself?

I went closer to him, "of course you can. You don't have to ask permission for the bathroom. You can use it whenever you want."

After a moment he stood up and slowly started walking to the bathroom. His legs looked wobbly, as he took a couple steps he tumbled down, his upper half landing in my lap.

I grabbed him instantly so he wouldn't fall any further and pull him up into my lap with my arm around his waist.

All he had on were sweatpants and so did I since I never finished getting dressed after my shower. Both of our chests bare, sparks we're going everywhere our body touched. He looked at me with big wide eyes and his breath hitched.

He looked me in the eyes, almost like he was in a trance. Neither of us could look away for a few moments. I reached up with my free hand and gently cupped his face. He slowly closed his eyes and leaned into my hand. My heart was soaring. I've dreamed of holding my mate and having him react like this for so long.

The moment was short-lived though. It was like suddenly he snapped out of it and tried to get off my lap.

I calmly said, "hey it's okay." Trying to calm him down.

I let him get off my lap and reached out to steady him. Once he seemed like he had his balance he went into the bathroom.

I went back into the closet to finish getting dressed. I grabbed something for him to wear and set it on the bed. I figured since he still seems so weak and unsteady on his feet I would just go down and get him something to eat and bring it back up to him. I went out of the room and headed down to the kitchen.
