Today I would find out if I had changed colour, I was currently walking to the bulletin board that was at the start of the girls quarter. Some girls were smiling while others looked worried waiting in line to see what fate had in store for them.
I joined the back of the line and it went down quite fast when it was finally my turn I took a deep breath and looked for my name on the sheet of paper.
'ARABELLA HOPE JONES - Red Master Jaxson'
I let out a deep breath I didn't even know I was holding, holy shit I didn't know if I should be grateful or sad that I still had to put up with the king himself. I was just about to walk back to my room when someone clears their throat behind me "Master Jaxson would like to see you in his office" I turned around to see somebody in a maids outfit "He requests your presence straight away please follow me" the lady said and started walking away before I had the chance to respond I had to jog to catch up to her. She looked human but my god she was a fast walker.
She walked through the castle and finally when we came upon red doors she knocked twice "enter" I heard him say.
She opened the door and gestured for me to go inside, when I stepped inside she shut the door after me. Rude. Someone clears their throat and I looked in front of me to see 7 pairs of eyes looking at me well shit.
Fear came across my body "Come over here Arabella" the king said and gestured to the seat beside him. I walked over my legs like jelly nearly collapsing. My heart banging like a drum, sweat on my forehead. I reached the king and he grabbed me and placed me on his knee. I tried too hard not to cringe and try to get out of his grip. God knows what would happen if I did something when all the kings had their eyes glued to me so I chose to sit in silence on his knee looking at the floor.

"This is her? Really this is the beast's mate?" One of them said and laughed.
"Nicholas .." The king growled.
Ah so this was king Nicholas talking this was Katy ex master.
"Come on Jaxson, she is a pathetic human," Nicholas said.
"Why would the goddess or whatever they believe in give the king of werewolves a human as a mate?" Somebody said, sounding confused.
The king signed "All I know is we have something now that could start a war" he said stroking my arm and I shivered.
"So your telling me that the werewolf king's mate is also your beloved?" one of them said and I looked up. I know what a mate is but what is a beloved?
"Yes George. As frustrating as this is it's a fucked up situation. However this could start a war you know the full moon is upon us and they are there strongest." the king said and was now playing with my hair.
So this man was king George, he had huge brown eyes and a buzz cut. If he wasn't the person he was I would have found him attractive to bad he's a blood sucking leach as Jack would say.
"We should just feed her to the dogs," Another said and the king growled grabbing a hold of me tightly.
"No" he hissed.
I whimpered and that seemed to get him to release his grip but still held on, why am I here? They are talking like I'm not even in the room. They keep saying i'm the werewolf king's mate but who is that? I know what a mate Jack told me but what is a beloved.
"Dismiss" the king said and suddenly it was just me and him in the room. My heartbeat picked up shit.

"Arabella do you have any questions?" He said looking at me.
He's bipolar i'm sure of it, that would explain everything. I nodded my head 'yes' and was scared to speak.
"You have permission to ask me" he said looking away and out the window.
"What is a beloved?" my question seemed to take him off guard because he looked shocked but quickly changed his face back to hard.
"Well you dog friend told you about mates I assume?" He asked me.
I nodded again 'yes' "Well it's the same as that but vampires call it beloved." he explained.
I paled for a minute ""So you tell me that the werewolf king's mate is also your beloved?" I remember King George saying.
"I'... I'm .. your b.. B.. " I started scared of the answer myself.
He sighed "your my beloved Arabella and I won't let him take you off me whatever the cost." he said looking me dead in the eyes.
The room suddenly got ten times more hot and I felt myself going dizzy and before I knew it my mind went blank.
