I hate to see you suffer,

since you don't deserve it.

You never wanted to tell,

how old you were,

because you don't want us to celebrate it,

and you think you don't deserve presents.

I can still remember how the sun shone

on the day I first hugged you,

as well as how I remember how nervous 

I was after meeting you for the first time,

after we haven't seen each other for more than a year.

Bad things go on in your life,

and you don't want to accept help.

But, I don't want to help you because

I'm sorry for you,

I want to help because I love you.

You said you won't cut your hair

until your things get solved,

and now it reaches down till your shoulders.

I want to give back everything you gave to me.

I want to show you what a beautiful person you are,

and I want to pay back every kind word you said to me.

I want to give you more time,

I want to make you feel like everything is okay,

but you don't have eyes for me.

Yet, I can't care. 

I still want to be part of your life,

I still want to be with you,

even if I'm not good enough.
