Why do we stay quiet about the things we think about the most?

Drowning in my thoughts,

I wish to be left alone while also wishing someone was there.

Someone that will help me find me, someone that will save me from myself.

No matter how hard I try to shake the words, the voices, the dread.

They continue to push me down,

Into the water.

Barely breathing, but barely, do I care.
