'It's been about two days since we beat Robotnik but we could finally rest up, a new chapter of my life has begun, I now have more friends like me and the world couldn't be any better, we're currently busy revamping Green Hills but it's coming up pretty nicely. For now I want to take a breath from physically violent things, but sadly today I have to learn more about gun laws with Tom. I like to think about how far I've gotten, but really my journey has just begun. So without further adieu I'll enjoy my time right now and help out some people. I wish everything stays like this. -Y/n

Y/n Pov:

I put away my new journal and walked down the stairs, I was met with a friendly face, it was Ozzie! (Or Ozzy idk can't trust google they giving me two options!)

Y/n: "Hey there, girl! How you doin' right about now?"

Ozzy just looked at me confused but I ignored her reaction, pet her, and just walked away towards the living room where I was met with none other than the Donut Lord himself watching a baseball match

Y/n: "The Donut Lord himself!"

Tom: "Oh, hey there, Y/n! You ready for your gun training?"

I forgot about that, I was kind of mad since I didn't wanna learn anything about gun laws.

Y/n: -reluctantly- "Aw c'mon! Do I really have to do that? Right now?"

Tom: "C'mon bud, think about how your skills would improve."

Y/n: "I already have good 'skills'!"

Tom: "These laws are important, trust me a lot of bad things happen because of how people handle firearms."

I was a bit annoyed at him, but I knew he was right...

Y/n: "Anyways, where's Sonic and the others?"

Tom: "I honestly don't know. Maddie probably took them out somewhere."

Y/n: "Agh, this'll be boring!..."

The scene cuts to outside in their backyard where we see Tom and Y/n

Tom: "Okay, so basically your revolvers..."

My mind just went blank as I began thinking about a bunch of different random thoughts. To me, Tom was just yapping about random things that I didn't understand, hell I don't even really wanna understand.

My thoughts were ruined when Tom suddenly waved his hand in front of me which kinda scared me to be honest

Tom: -Waving hand- "Y/n! C'mon bud, pay attention."

Y/n: "Can't we do this another day instead of right now?"

Tom: "I'll tell you what, if we do it today, right now. I'll let you pick any movie that we could all watch next week."

Y/n: "Aw hell yes!"

He stood there showing me different parts of my revolvers, holsters, and how to be careful with them. Etc.

We were there for about a good hour and a half until we decided to go back inside since we were done.

-now inside-

I was in my room on my bed just cleaning my guns and tuning up my hat until I heard our truck pull up outside and saw Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Maddie all get out.

Y/n: -annoyed but not mad- "Wow... They really did leave me!"

I walked downstairs and greeted them all, instead of causing a scene.

Y/n: "Hey guys! How'd it go!"

Sonic: "Boring! We went grocery shopping! You're gonna have to help us bring them down from the car!"

Knuckles: "Yes! Groceries should be taken off of my chariot. Go little wolf."

I just smiled and waved at Tails as I walked out to go grab some groceries

After all that grocery moving I went to go meet up with Sonic in our room

Y/n: "Hey! Sonic!"

Sonic: "Hey, how ya doing?"

Y/n: "Alright, Tom was just teaching me some stuff about gun laws and other boring stuff..."

Sonic: "Ha, sounds boring."

Y/n: "Yeah, it was... But anyways, do you guys have any plans for later tonight?"

Sonic: "Nah not really, I was thinking about just sleeping the rest of the day off or something..."

Y/n: "Oh... Well what about Knuckles?"

Sonic: "I don't know, go ask him."

Y/n: "Alright..."

I left onwards to ask Knuckles if he was up to anything later

Y/n: "Hey there, Knuckles! -wave- What're you doin' right now?"

Knuckles: "Sitting."

Y/n: "I can see that, are you busy later?"

Knuckles: "I'll be busy lending a helping hand towards Maddie's new wooden book holder."

Y/n: "A shelf? You're gonna build a shelf?"

Knuckles: "... Correct."

Y/n: "So uhh, I'll see you later then... I guess?"

Knuckles: "Good bye."

That was for some reason an awkward interaction, I had one last chance of not having a boring day, who knows Tails might be the reason as to why this day doesn't end up boring...

As I was looking for wherever the hell Tails was.

I kept on searching around the house and saw Ozzy on the ground wagging her tail and doing whatever a dog does, so I decided to go towards her since she was feeling lonely

Y/n: "How you doing girl?"

I pet her and just messed around for a minute until she stood up and barked at me

I was a bit surprised when out of nowhere she bit my hat off and ran away with it!

Y/n: "Wait, wait, wait! Ozzy, come back!"

I quickly stood up and chased after her trying to get my hat back, who knows how old that thing was, it's irreplaceable so I tried my best to get it back

Ozzie just kept on barking at me taunting me to get it from her

Y/n: "C'mon Ozzy, I promise I'll give you anything you want just please give it back!"

Ozzy just looked at me confused before quickly sprinting towards the garage where Ozzy stopped and just looked at me

Y/n: "You want money? I'll get you money, just give me my hat back please, Ozzy!"

Ozzy came towards me and I quickly got my hand on my hat before Ozzy started tugging at it trying to regain "ownership" of it, I started pulling back too trying to get it back when out of nowhere Tails taps me on my shoulder which immediately scares me and makes Ozzy let go which ultimately flings me backwards

Tails: "Y/n? Are you okay?"

Y/n: "Maybe, but my hat isn't..."

You looked down at your hat which was covered in dog slobber

Tails reached his hand out to me which I gladly took

Y/n: -Holding hat- "Anyways, I've been looking for you!"

Tails: "Heh, I've also been looking for you too!"

Y/n: "Nice, anyways... -Looking at Ozzy- Some dog just had to make it harder..."

Tails: "At least you're alright, and at least your hat didn't end up like that pillow over there..."

Tails points at a pillow in the corner which was all torn up with Ozzy on top of it just acting all innocent, that could've been my hat! This thing is priceless!

Y/n: "Yeah... Anyways, are you busy later tonight?"

Tails: "No, not really. I don't really have anything to do at the moment."

Y/n: "Great! Basically everybody is busy except us."

Y/n: "Anyways, do you wanna hangout with me later tonight? Just watch a movie or something? I don't know..."

Y/n 'Y/n you idiot, you could've worded everything else better!'

Tails Pov:

I was sweating a lot and tried to hide it by acting all normal. Did Y/n ask for a date? Or did he just wanna hang out? A lot of thoughts were racing through my mind and I immediately answered to his question

Tails: "Of course I'll be with you... watching a movie!"

And there it went, I slipped up! As soon as I said that I tried to hide back my blush by looking down

Y/n Pov:

Tails said yes! Haha, yes! This is basically a date, right? Well no not really, but I see this as an absolute win!

Tails quickly looked down which just made his face even cuter! I wanted to hug him so bad, but I wasn't sure as to how he felt yet. He was a tad bit shorter then me but not by a lot and the way he looked was extremely cute!

Tails: "So, Y/n... Do you wanna watch that movie now or later?"

Y/n: "You got time right now?"

Tails: "Yep!"

And so we went off towards the living room in order to watch our movie

As soon as we got there we sat ourselves down on the couch and looked for something to watch

Y/n: "I should've though this through... What'dya wanna watch?"

Tails: "I'm not sure, do you wanna watch a documentary with me?"

I never really was a fan of documentaries, but if it was for Tails then so be it, hell they have documentaries about basically anything now

Y/n: "Sure, how about we watch something about the western era?"

Tails: "Alright!"

A few fourty minutes later we were both practically asleep, I could tell that Tails' eyes were aboutta close but I also felt somewhat sleepy

Outta nowhere I just plopped down and fell asleep for a good thirty minutes...

I eventually woke up only to find Tails' tails covering me up like that one time in the cabin, but this time less chaos

Y/n: "Psst, Tails."

He was dead alseep, of course I didn't wanna wake him up. Because nobody likes being woken up so instead I stood up and carried him towards his bed

When I got there I placed him down onto his bed and just stared at him for a few minutes

Y/n 'Maybe I shouldn't stare, but I can't resist!- Actually maybe this is a bit weird...'

And so I tucked him in and maybe or maybe didn't give him a kiss on the cheek

I walked towards my room and saw Sonic drooling on his pillow, it was funny which made me laugh as I walked towards my bed

I looked in my drawer and pulled out my revolvers, they were obviously empty, I cleaned them with gun oil while staring at them wondering as to what they've gone through before me...

I put them away, put my hat on my drawer, covered up, and closed my eyes.

And thats that, I'll start a new ark and then a small halloween arc eventually, cheers and have a good day! Thanks for reading this chapter, the recent ones are meant to be a bit laid back, the calmness after the storm, yknow?
