Sonic ran at his fastest towards Eggman's base. Knocking the metal door down under his path. When he ran down the hallway in Eggman's base, the alarm went off and red lights started glowing on the walls. The security cameras pointed in Sonic's direction, but they were destroyed the second Sonic came close enough. Egg robots came towards him with guns for hands and red glowing eyes. Sonic growled and narrowed his eyes in anger as he speeded up and were ready to destroy their sorry robo-butts. 'Nothing is gonna stop me from getting my lover out! NOTHING!'

Eggman stared at his computer screen and saw Sonic trashing the place in maximum speed. With his wide smirk, he turned around to face Tails. Who were unconscious with his arms and legs in chains. His head hanging with his eyes closed. Eggman put on an Eggman symbol chip on Tails. Eggman turned around and walked towards his robot room. Where he kept all of his massive inventions. He smiled widely at his latest creation and clicked on a button, making his eggmobile show up. "Get prepared rodent! This time, you will get defeated once and for all! Ho ho ho ho!"

Sonic haven't gotten tired after trashing all the robots that were in his way. He couldn’t be tired. He needed to save his kitsune before he get hurt! Sonic ran down the hallway with his feet in top speed. Crashing and destroying every robot in sight. Sonic needed to be fast.

As he trashed the final robot in the hallway, he stopped. Sonic looked up at a big metal door with Eggman's logo in the middle. He didn't have time to fight Eggman now, but there were no other way. So he just destroyed the door and walked in with an angry look on his face.

"Show yourself Eggman!" Silent. Nothing were making a sound. Sonic began tapping his foot impationed. His ears perked up and he heard something. He looked up and dodged quickly as he saw Eggman's huge fighting machine landing where he just stood. "Oh ho ho ho! Welcome Sonic! Ready to get defeated by my ultimate weapon!?" Eggman grinned and had his missle canons pointed at Sonic. His robot was big and looking a lot like Eggman. Like that's a surprise... Sonic growled and looked angry at Eggman. "Where is Tails!?"

"Do you want to see your little lover? Then beat me first!" Eggman fired about 40 missles towards Sonic, who ran around in the circled room, dodging all of them and used them to get closer to Eggman's cockpit. He curled himself into a ball and hit Eggman's cockpit, making the robot fall down on it's butt. Sonic landed and ran towards the robot and doing a home attack on different parts of the robot. Sonic threw himself up and hit Eggman's cockpit once more. Eggman quickly got up with his robot and gave Sonic a hard punch. Sending him flying into the wall. Sonic groaned from pain and got himself out of the wall, looking at the robot. 'Eggman has improved... I need to be faster' Sonic began to run in circles around Eggman's robot. Making Eggman and the robot confused. Sooner, Eggman began to get confused and dizzy. That was Sonic's chance. He home attacked the entire robot and hit him in the gut one final time. The robot malfunctioned and Eggman got out with his hovercraft before it exploded. Eggman growled and looked at Sonic who was grinning of happiness. "Now, Eggy. Where is Tails!?!" Eggman only clicked a button on his hovercraft, making a door to open. "Here he is!"

Sonic looked at the door and ran towards it with a smile on his face. "Tails! I am right he- opfh!!" He got hit hard by something. 'Must be another one of Eggman's tricks' He thought as he got up. What was standing three meters away from him made his heart clench in anger and sadness.

Tails.

He stood there with dark blue eyes, his light blue sheild - swords on his arms. He had an angry expression looking at Sonic. "Ho ho ho ho! You think you have defeated me rodent?! Think again! How are you going to defeat me, when my weapon is your lover? Ho ho ho!" Sonic stared at Tails with a worried look and at Eggman and back. 'How did Eggman know that Tails and I are a couple?' Sonic looked at Tails with sadness and hands out in defense. "Tails..." Tails started walking towards him slowly. "Tails. Attack!!" Eggman screamed as he pointed at Sonic and Tails ran towards Sonic and gave him a hard punch right in the gut. Sending him flying into the wall and leaving a mark from his body. Sonic growled and got up just in time to avoid another attack from Tails. Tails hit the wall and looked at Sonic with anger as he started to attack him with multiple kicks and punch. Sonic blocked and avoided most of them. He had to attack back to stop him, but he just couldn’t. "Tails! Stop this!" Sonic tried, but to no use. Tails kept attacking him and spun his twin tails into Sonic that kicked him a few feet away. Sonic's stomach started to hurt. He needed to find a way to stop Tails without hurting him and fast.

Eggman was enjoying the fight so far. He never thought that Sonic was so weak when his weapon was his best friend. Or now his lover.

Sonic and Tails were leaning against their own hands, trying to get the other one out of balance. "T-tails. This isn't you. Stop this nonesense!" Sonic growled as he stared at Tails. 'He has gotten stronger, that for sure'

"You are the one who should stop this nonsense and just give up. You were too slow to save me Sonic, so why try now?" Tails looked at Sonic with an angry - blank look with his dark blue eyes. The words hurt Sonic and hit him harder than any other attack. 'You were too slow to save me' The sentence kept repeating in his head and Sonic fought back the tears. "I won't stop and I never will!" Sonic pulled Tails over and hit him into the wall. When he did that. Sonic noticed an Eggman logo earring on Tails' left ear that was glowing. 'So that's where the mind control is' Tails quickly recovered and flew towards Sonic at high speed, which he barely avoided. While Tails attacked him over and over again. Sonic tried to figure out how he were going to get that Eggman logo off him.

Tails grabbed Sonic by his arm and threw him into the wall. He then flew towards him and pinned Sonic against the wall. Sonic then smirked and Tails got confused. Sonic were quick and grabbed the logo and smashed it to the ground. Tails lost his balance and landed in Sonic's arms. "Tails?..." He looked worried at Tails as he slowly opened his eyes. Revealing his ocean blue eyes. "S-Sonic? What happened?" Sonic kissed him softly and hugged him close. "That's not important. What's important is that you are ok" Sonic smiled and so did Tails. Eggman looked at them in disgust. "Blech! Disgusting!" Eggman only left in anger that his plan didn't work. But he had other plans on mind that neither Sonic or Tails could expect.

They sat there for awhile. Giving each other a warming embrace.

But what they didn't know was that Eggman have security cameras in that room that were conected to their friends.

"Sonic... Tails... How could you!?"
