"𝙒𝙃𝙔 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 method of killing so messy?"
"I don't know, why is yours so...clean?" I sighed and continued to wipe the blood off of Five's jacket. Well, more like attempted to wipe. "It's not that clean, they're shriveled up corpses on the ground. But, at least I don't get blood on myself." I scrubbed harder.
"It's not that easy chopping off ligaments with an axe," he muttered. "Hey, you gotta a little..."
He trailed off and tried to wipe my cheek. I used my hand to do it before he could and saw blood. "See, you even got blood on me too." I sighed again and continued cleaning. "This is not a normal conversation," I said.
"We're not normal people."
"Good point."
I heard heeled footsteps from behind us. "Well?" The Handler questioned. Five held out the bag for her. She gasped. "AJ!" She cackled and cooed at him softly. "You know, you're really starting to fill out those tight little shorts of yours."
I shuddered. "That's disgusting." The Handler just ignored me and giggled at her new pet. She looked to Five who still hadn't said anything to her. "Why so quiet?" She asked. "Thought you'd be buzzing after this morning's slaughter."
"All this killing...I'm done with it," Five stated. "What?" The Handler said quietly, pulling out a handkerchief. "Am I supposed to take that seriously?"
"What I did today, I did for my family. I did it to save the world."
"Please. Spare me your little assassin heart of gold routine, will you? And you, you haven't said anything." I sighed. "Knowing me and my family, I've accepted the fact I might have to kill." She smiled at me weirdly. "Good. There's always a job ope-"
"I don't mean I plan on doing it for a living. I'm just not...bothered by it." She still smiled at me. "Here," she handed me the briefcase. "Per our agreement, this will get you two and your siblings back to 2019. You have 90 minutes."
A clock tolled loudly. "What?" I muttered. "You said nothing about a time limit," Five shouted at her. "Actually, you have 89 minutes and 30 seconds. Better hurry," she continued to walk away.
"This is impossible, okay? Our siblings are scattered across the city," Five said, going up to her. "Nothing's impossible. You proved that this morning when you killed the board," she booped his nose. "We need more time!" I said. "Any more time, and people will start asking questions. The sooner you get home and out of this time period, the better off we'll all be, so ticktock, ticktock." Five grabbed me and blinked us away.

𝘿𝙄𝙀𝙂𝙊 𝙋𝙐𝙇𝙇𝙀𝘿 𝘼 knife out of Elliot's rotting corpse. Luther pulled a blanket over him. "I can't believe Elliot's dead," he said softly. "He was a good guy," Diego agreed. "Deserved better than this."
"Yeah."
"Elliot must've been getting too close to the truth," Diego said, turning around. "It smells like the feds," he looked over the balcony. "What? Are you out of your mind?" Luther asked. "Diego, if this was the federal government, they would take him somewhere and question him. They wouldn't," he gestured to the brutal murder, "do this. No, this is the work of a psychopath."
"Öga Foroga. That a name?" Diego asked, looking over the balcony at the floor. Luther went over and joined him. "Öga Foroga. I'll look her up."
"Okay," Luther sighed, flipping through a phone book. He moved his finger down the page. "Holy shit, I found her." Diego peered over his shoulder.
"Olga Foroga. That must be her," Luther said. "Call the bitch," Diego told him. "On it."
At this moment, Five and I appeared downstairs. I heard the rotary phone dialing and looked at the blood on the ground. "Öga For Öga...oh no." Five and I walked quietly up the stairs. I noticed something in the dentist chair and pulled the cover down to see Elliot's corpse.
"Damn," Five muttered, and put it back up.
"Olga?" I heard Luther say. "It's her. She sounds old. What should I say?" I heard Diego make some noises. Luther cleared his throat. "Excuse me, ma'am. Um, I was just wondering-
What? My name? Is, uh, Luther Hargreeves, and-"
All while that was happening, I watched Five quickly hide the briefcase somewhere, for safekeeping.
I heard Diego take the phone from Luther. "You killed on of ours, Olga, now we're coming after you. You will be dead by nightfall," Diego threatened.
I walked in. "Hey. It's Öga For Öga, idiots. Swedish for 'an eye for an eye.'" Luther and Diego looked at me questioningly. "It means the Swedes killed Elliot," Five butted in. Diego, with a look of realization, got back to the call.
"Wrong number. Have a lovely day."
Diego and Luther look at each other. I scoffed. "We would've gotten there," Luther said. "Eventually."
"Yeah." They both turned back to us. "Uh, you both have some blood on you," Luther noted. "A lot of blood, actually," Diego added. "Ugh, really?" I wiped my face again. "You seriously need a cleaner method," I muttered at Five.
"(Y/N), Five, what did you do?"

He fiddled with his tie. "We made a deal to get back to our timeline."
"What about doomsday?" Diego asked. "Won't happen," I replied, readjusting myself in the mirror next to Five. "And the 2019 apocalypse?" Diego asked, again. "Everything will be back to normal. All right? Now, no more questions. We gotta go," Five stated.
"We have to gather the rest of the Academy, right?" I said to all of them. "Yeah," Luther agreed. "Luther, you get Allison."
"Okay."
"Diego, Klaus. We'll get Vanya," Five completed. "Now, we meet back in the arrival alley in 77 minutes," I said, helping Five into his blazer. "Here," Five grabbed some items off the table. He handed one to all of us. "I've synchronized these watches."
"Okay, let's do this," Luther said, putting his on. "Woah, woah, woah, hold on," Diego stopped the both of us. "You two show up drenched in blood-"
"He got drenched, not me."
"-and expect us to believe everything's gonna go back to normal if we go home now?" He questioned. "Elliot just got killed because of us." Five pointed to the body in the chair. "What about Dad?" Diego asked. "What about JFK?"
"Diego, we have a chance to go home and make things right. I am begging you to take it," I replied. He looked down. "I have to say goodbye to Lila."
"Yeah, about tha-"
"Lila doesn't give a shit about you, Diego!" Five burst out. "Hey, not that harsh," I held him back a little bit. "She never did," Five continued as Diego turned around. I sighed. "Lila she's...one of them. She's a member of the Commission," I completed for Five.
"No way. Not possible," Diego denied. "She was just using you to get to me. You're the Oswald of this story, my friend. The goddamned patsy," Five began to walk away. "You don't know what you're talk-"
Five teleported in front of him. "If you don't do this, I'll kill you myself. Got it?" He blinked away, leaving a shocked Diego. I turned to him. "I'm sorry. I didn't see it either, and I know you care for her a lot. I...I think she cares for you too. Maybe in the wrong circumstances, but it's something." He only nodded at me and turned to sit back down.
"I'm gonna go follow Five," I said to Luther. He nodded at me. I fell back into my shadow and found him waiting for me in the alley. He was pacing back and forth, looking worried while constantly checking his watch.
"Hey! There you are. We have to find-"
"Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine," he said, but he didn't sound so sure. "Five, you can talk to me. I know you're definitely not doing well." He sighed. "It's just...I've dealt with two apocalypses in the span of almost three weeks. It's so stressful. And then things like Diego being sidetracked happens and I just-"
He stopped himself. "Why can't I just have a day off?" He asked, looking up into the sky. "Hey," I grabbed his arm and pulled him into a hug. "All we have to do is find everyone else and get back here in time. If we work together, we can accomplish it, okay? I know we can."
He pulled back and looked me in the eye. "God, I wish you were with me in the apocalypse. Not that I wish you had to go through that, but I feel like it would've been better if I had someone like you with me." He placed his hand on my cheek and kissed me softly.
"This isn't exactly how I pictured my last day here," I said. "What do you mean?"
"Well, I guess I still haven't said a genuine goodbye to everyone-"
"You mean Maria?" I sighed. "Please don't start this again," I pleaded. "No, it's, um, it's fine. I understand you don't like her that way. But I can tell she's got something for you."
I laughed. "Yeah, even Klaus said that, and he's never met her. Maybe I'm just the super oblivious one." Five stared at me for a second and said something that surprised me.
"Why don't you go say goodbye to Maria?" I whipped my head up. "What?"
"Go say goodbye to her. It's unlikely you'll see her again, and she deserves, well both of you deserve a proper ending," Five said. I was going to thank him but stopped myself. "But what about finding Vanya?"
"I'll get her myself," he declared. "Are you sure? You said it's been stressful for you these past couple of days," I said worriedly. "I can do it. If it means you'll be happier, I'll do anything."
I smiled at him and gave him a hug. "Thank you so much." I kissed him on the cheek. "Now, remember to meet back here when it's time," he reminded me. I nodded.
"I'll see you then."

A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.

There aren't many of these out there and I'm really REALLY in love with Douxie so I decided to give this a try. This book follows the storyline of wizards with the addition of my OC. You could see it as an x reader if you want and are alright with the backstory of my OC as King Arthur's daughter. SO MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SHOW YET!!This book is complete and the sequel is out! Like the title says, this is a Douxie x OC, I don't know why but I just can't handle the whole (y/n) name thing, I'm worse at writing when I use that somehow and I deeply apologize for it.
