"What? No you cheated. Get out of my face now, would you."
I let out a deep sigh as I heard Ashton yelling from upstairs.
Crash.
"Damnit." I said under my breath. I ran up the stairs to see what Ashton had broken when I found him wrestling Luke in the hallway. "Break it up now. The both of you. Would you stop." I tried to yell over them and even tried to break them up myself but none of it worked. I screamed at the top of my lungs until they pleaded for me to stop.
"Okay, okay. We're done." Ashton said as he and Luke put their hands up in mock surrender.
"Good." I said as I straightened out the nonexistent wrinkles on my uniform. "The cook has prepared a meal, would you guys want to come downstairs and eat." Before I could even finish my sentence Luke was already downstairs.
I gave Ashton a questioning look, to which he responded with, "He loves his food." And with that Ashton quickly descended the stairs to join Luke.

"Ashton, would you please like to explain to me what you broke?" I questioned as he came to the top of the staircase, done pigging out on his lunch.
"No." He said, as he walked past me and into his room, he didn't shut the door expecting Luke to follow him in straight away. Unluckily for me that didn't happen.
"Hello there, Ms. Ashton's Nanny." Luke greeted as he leaned against the wall.
I crossed my arms and gave him a cold glare. "It's Anna."
"Nice name, I'm Luke. Learn it, you'll be moaning it all night." At this I scoffed.

"Oh please, I'm way too old for you."
"Age is just a number, speaking of which what's yours." I cannot believe this kid, did he actually think that i would go for a 19 year old. I know I'm a prostitute, but I have a little more self respect than that.
Oh, you might be curious by this point, I'm 25.
"Keep dreaming, kid." I said as I walked past him, and into my room.

"How was school kids?" Mrs. Irwin asked as they got seated for dinner, she asked me to join them so I can get to know the family a little better.
"I got the results of my math test back, got a 94!" Lauren said cheerfully.
"Well, I got paired up with the cutest girl in my grade for a science project." Harry said earning a high five from Ashton.
"What about you, Ashton?" His mother asked, Ashton gave me a sly smirk as he turned to his mother to give her a response.
"It was okay." He said as he looked at me, at this point I probably looked like a deer caught in headlights. That little bastard could have ended my job right then and there, and he knew it too.
"Sounds like nothing exciting happened to you today." Mrs. Irwin said.
With that stupid little grin still on his face, Ashton replied, "I guess you can say so. University doesn't live up to its expectations of fun all the time. Isn't that right, Anna?"
I swallowed the lump in my throat. "I wouldn't know, didn't go to uni."
"Hmm," Ashton hummed. "How interesting, you've got a great job and didn't need to major in anything to get it. Mum, isn't that fascinating?"

"Ashton, what on earth are you getting at?" His mother asked impatiently.
"I want to drop out of uni." I could have sworn that Mrs. Irwin's jaw dropped to the floor and hat her eyes practically fell out her head.
"There is no way, a child of mine is going to miss out on a great opportunity on education. Besides what would you even do with your life."
"I'll figure it out as I go. That's what Anna did." I see what the fucker was doing, hes going to have me support this ludicrous decision and he wouldn't tell his mum that i failed on my first day of being a nanny.
"I'm not so sure about this. Is it worth the risk, Anna?" Mrs. Irwin questioned me, as she did I could feel how heavy Ashton's eyes were on me.
"Yes, Mrs. Irwin. During the time he's not in uni, he can actually find himself and see what he wants to be in life." Ashton smiled, as if to say 'good answer'.
"I guess, you can Ashton, but I expect you to help around the house if you're going to be spending most of your time here anyways."
Ashton nodded. "Of course." He gave me a grin and winked at me before taking a drink of his wine.

As I got ready for bed, I heard my door open and shut. I turned around from my bed to see Ashton leaning against the door.
I crossed my arms. "What do you want?" I questioned.
"I just wanted to thank you, you catch on pretty fast. That's good. I'm gonna need your help to get me out of many other situations, so I guess I'll let mum keep you around."
I stared at him with a shocked expression. He only smiled and said, "Goodnight" as he closed my door behind him as he left.
