《Alpha Heron》Chapter 25

Heron
"So tell me pretty thing," Milton said to the girl that was tied on a chair. We all were sitting at the club's basement that's was owned by Alpha Brysen.
After waiting for a few days the rouge finally contacted them. The girl was just like he had described to Lily that day. The moment he met with her, we took over. Milton wolves handled the rouge while we got the girl. I can't say it was easy. Especially for Dominic. She broke his arms. She was strong, really strong. We couldn't stop her, at least not until Satan stepped up. Never in my life thought I would be thankful that she came with us. Like I said she was strong but Satan was stronger. I guess years of training paid off for her. Elizabeth was able to knock her out. And that's when we brought her in the basement.
"Come on. Tell me. Where is the hot thing?" Milton said referring to Lily and I swear if we weren't in important situation I was going to break his jaw.
"Sorry I don't speak idiot language," she said and spit him on the face. The urge to laugh was high but I tried to keep my cool.
He brushed the spit with his sleeve and grabbed her chin forcefully. "Do you know who I am? I bet you don't. I'm alpha Milton and if you ever pull some stupid thing like this... you will regret living." Her face showed no fear but her breathing and her heartbeat told different story. He smirked when he sensed her fear.
"Look here," said Elizabeth stepping out of the shadows. "I know he is all famous about killing your kind blah blah. Boring right?" but the girl didn't speak. "He is bad but I'm worse and if you don't tell me where my friend is, I will take out your eyeballs and feed them to whoever you care about. But of course, that will be just a warm-up. So talk." she said. Her eyes flashing wolf.
The girl looked at me, took a deep breath, and talked. "I'm surprised you don't remember me," she said to me. Remember her? Huh?
"I swear orangutan if she is one of your ex-girlfriends I'm killing you both. This is all your fault." of course Satan had to talk.

"Shut it, Elizabeth!" I yelled at her. "Who are you?" I said to the girl. "And I've never met you."
"Oh you have," she said. "Remember the fountain when you were eight. The girl with the pink teddy bear. The one her father ripped into shreds in front of everyone. She cried and cried. But nobody did anything about it. Expect the boy with a blue shirt. He gave her his car so she wouldn't cry anymore because if she did she would drown everyone. "
Pink teddy bear, the fountain, the car all these things let to one person he hadn't seen for decades.
"Adalyn." That's her. His cousin.
"That's me."
"But shouldn't you be in Europe?" She and my uncle left our pack when I was eight. Nobody but my dad and my mom knew why they left.
"I haven't been to Europe since I was fourteen." This doesn't make sense.
"Can someone fill us in, because we are trying here too, you know," Satan said but I ignored her.
"Why?" I asked. "Why didn't you come back. Why choose to go rouge?" She laughed.
"Like I had a choice."
"You did!" I yelled, frustrated.
"I didn't!" she yelled back. "I never did," she said looking down and I saw how devastated she looked.
"Why?" I asked again.
"You don't understand. I couldn't escape him. Not even now."
"Who is he?" I will kill him whoever he is.
"Viper aka your uncle."
Lily
I woke up with my head throbbing. Damn it. What happened this time? I looked around expecting to be in the woods, but no. I was in a room made of wood. Did Viper find me again? Please god no. Ugh, my head hurts so much.
I heard the door open and an older man entered. I looked around for anything to protect myself. But there was nothing.
"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you," he said. "You don't need to be afraid of me." I don't believe him but what another choice I have.
"Where am I?" I asked him.
"You are in my house." ugh, my head is killing me. "Here," he said handing me pills. I looked at them then looked back at him. "It's just painkillers. You hit your head on the tree." Well, that explains why my head is killing me.

"Thanks," I said and took the pills from him. "How did you find me?"
"Well I was out hunting and I came across you. First I thought you were dead but then I saw you're not. So I took you here. I was going to call an ambulance but once I saw your wound heal itself, I realized you're one of them." Oh shit. A hunter. I started backing away from him. "It's okay I'm not going to hurt you I promise."
"And why should I believe you?"
"Well I didn't kill you when I realized what you were and I helped you." he has a point but lately my luck hasn't been good. "So tell me how did you end up there."
I took a deep breath. My mind replaying what I did. I will never forget that my hands aren't clean anymore. "I was kidnapped." I waited for him to say anything but he didn't so I continued. "I was held hostage for a week or more. Honestly, I don't know. And I escaped that day when you found me."
"Who kidnapped you?" he asked.
"Some psycho who wanted my mate's pack." Fucking Beron. He is going to pay one day.
"Can you tell me his name?" I raised an eyebrow at his curiosity.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because I'm looking for someone who has done wrong to someone I cared," he said.
"What did he do?"
"He killed her." I was not expecting him to say that. "He raped her then when he was done he slashed her throat open." I looked at him. God if Kan had succeeded at what he wanted to do to me, the man in front of me might have been Heron.
"He goes by Viper but his name is Beron." by the anger in his face I realized that Beron was the person he was searching for. "How did you know that what killed her was a werewolf?" I asked him.
"My family comes from a line of hunters. We are raised to kill your kind." well that's... um... good to know. "I always thought that my family exaggerated this whole thing about your kind must die. At least I did until she was murdered." right now I could feel his pain. I have no idea what my life would be without Heron.
"What was she like?"
"She was amazing, pure and she had the most beautiful soul. Her smile would light up my world. She was my salvation. She was my everything. She would find peace in little things. Loved flowers especially lilies. They were her favorite." I smiled at him.
"Well, my name is Lily and she sounds like an amazing woman." I put my hand on his shoulder. "And I'm sure she is in a better place right now."
"Thanks." he smiled back. "You are a nice person." Oh if you only knew what I did.
"You must be hungry, come on we will eat and talk about our mutual enemy." he got up and was out of the door. I need to call Heron and inform him about Viper.
Heron
I stood there speechless. Not only had I found out that my uncle was the one who kidnapped Lily but he was also the one who killed my parents and the one who was trying to take my pack. That son of a bitch.
"Did you help him?" I asked Adalyn. She stayed quiet. "I asked you something!" this time I yelled at her.
"The first time he attacked your pack, I didn't. But I helped him with other things. It's not like I had a choice."
"You did! You could have come to me!" I was yelling. I was furious and I didn't care.
"He holds something that is really dear to me. I'm risking his life right now for telling you." who is he?
Before I could ask her, Elizabeth did "Who is he?"
"That is my secret and it's none of your business." she snapped at Satan.
"Since everyone is getting out of topic," Milton butted in. "Tell us where is he keeping Lily."
"Fine, I will but in one condition."
"You want something," said Satan annoyed. Adalyn nodded.
"That is?" Milton asked.
"A place in your pack." I nodded. I would have done that either way.
