Bella followed Jane through the castle. Jane was mostly quiet while Bella was busy examining the surroundings of the castle of the noble Volturi.
The stained glass window let in the sunlight, illuminating the corridors. Old paintings of war and some other important things which happened in the past hanged on the wall along with the paintings of Volturi. The corridors were quiet except the sound of footsteps echoing around the corridors.
"We are here," Jane said. Bella turned her gaze from the windows and paintings to the huge door in the end of the corridor. Jane opened the door with ease.
Bella stepped in the huge living room of sorts. A black velvet sofa sat in a corner with two black armchairs accompanying the sofa.
On the other side of the room was a huge bookshelves. Bella walked to the shelves. Her eyes looking at the books. She noticed that the books were sorted alphabetically.
"You may sit here until Master Aro comes back," Jane said in her emotionless voice. "Sure," Bella muttered. Jane nodded to herself and walked out of the room.
Bella walked to the black armchair and carefully sat on it. Her hands trying to familiarize the velvety fabric of the armchair. She relaxed a bit and snuggled up on the armchair.
After 45 minutes
Aro walked into his chambers, opening them and closing them behind him. He looked around trying to find his beautiful mate but he failed to locate her.
A small, gentle snore made its way to Aro's ears. Aro turned and walked to the armchair. His eyes soften at Bella's sleeping form. He extended his hand, caressing her cheek. A fond smile appearing on his face.
He cautiously lifted Bella in his hands, walking up the stairs and entering his bedroom. He laid Bella down on the silk bedsheets. After making sure Bella was comfortable, he sat on the armchair beside the window.

The armchair was set in a way that he had the perfect view of Bella. He looked at her with love in his eyes, studying her face.
Her chocolate brown, curly hair surrounding her in an angelic way. Her chocolate brown eyes hidden beneath her long lashes. Her rosy lips set in a small smile.
In Aro's eyes, she was the most beautiful woman in the world. He had completely forgot about Sulpicia, his current wife. But that wasn't for a long time.
A knock on the bedroom door made Aro divert his attention. He frowned his eyebrows and stood up. He gracefully walked to the door, opening it to meet Jane's red eyes.
"What happened, Jane?" Aro interrogated. "Master, Mistress Sulpicia wants to meet you," Jane said. "Is Sulpicia aware of the current situation?" Aro asked. "From the way she asked, no," Jane answered.
Aro let out a sigh and glanced at Bella's sleeping form. He turned around and walked to Bella, planting a kiss on her head. He turned around and walked to Jane.
"Stay here with Bella and guard her," Aro ordered. "Yes Master," Jane said. Jane stepped aside, Aro walking out of the bedroom and towards the door of his chambers.
Once he was out of his chambers and the door was closed, Jane went to sit on the armchair, Aro sat on previously. Jane gaze fixing on Bella.
