《That Special Brunette || Aro x Bella||》Midén

Bella followed Jane while clinging on Edward's hand. Bella was feeling a certain type of pull when she walked closer to the throne room of the Volturi. Alice, Demetri and Felix followed behind them.
They entered the elevator which would take them to the floor where the throne room was located. The ride of the elevator was extremely awkward. Especially with the opera playing in the background.
Soon the elevator opened. Everyone again started following Jane. The Volturi Secretary stood up and muttered her greeting with a smile. Bella looked at her and then turned to Edward.
"Does she knows?" Bella asked wondering if the secretary knew that she was working for vampires.
"Yes," Edward answered, looking at Bella. "Will she become?" Bella queried again. "Yes, she will," said Demetri from behind them. "Desert," Jane added.
Bella straightened up at Jane's comment. Edward squeezed Bella's hand in a comforting manner. Edward knew what was to come. He had seen the vision Alice had about Bella and a certain Volturi.
Alice was feeling anxious about everything. She had seen the future of Bella. Her future as a vampire. Her future as a mate of a certain Volturi member.
Bella stood on a raised podium in a ball room. The ball room was decorated with red and black decorations. Bella wore a black, off-shoulder, sweetheart neckline gown. The gown bugged Bella's figure beautifully.
The sequins embedded on the gown glowed in the moonlight. A smile graced Bella's face. Beside her stood the king of the Volturi. Aro. His face was also adored by a rare, genuine smile.
Aro looked at Bella with love and affection in his eyes. Bella returning his gaze equally, her smile widening. And then, they leaned in for a slow yet passionate kiss.
Alice shivered when she thought of that particular vision. Bella was too naive for someone as sinister as Aro. Aro was way too much for Bella.

A frown appeared on Edward's face but he was quick to hide it. Edward knew that Bella wasn't his mate. She was just the blood singer. Edward didn't knew that she was Aro's mate but he doesn't regret his time with Bella and he knew that if Bella doesn't want to stay in Volterra with Aro, he will stand for her decision.
The door to the throne room became more visible as they walked closer to it. Bella's heart was thumping in her chest. She could sense something pulling her to that room. She felt like something was calling her, waiting for her behind those close doors.
Jane opened the huge door with her hands, entering the room. Everyone followed behind her. Bella examined the circular room. The pillars with carving on them, the windows, the raised podium and the three men sitting on them.
Bella's gaze was concentrated on the man in the middle. The raven king of the Volturi. The mind reader of Volturi. Aro.
Aro looked at Bella with pure interest. His red eyes looking her up and down. A slight amusement dancing in his eyes. Aro turned to look at Marcus, wanting a confirmation.
Marcus placed his pale hand on Aro's. Aro eyes lit up when he saw the bond between him and Bella. Aro stood up with a smile, his eyes turning into pitch black.

Paternum: A Superhero Story
When Quinn finds an experimental superpower-granting costume in their parents’ attic, they didn’t expect to be drawn into a web of superhuman intrigue, but their discovery serves as the catalyst for that conspiracy to slowly unravel. At it’s heart, Paternum is an extended coming-of-age story for the main character as they become a superhero, in a world with more reasonable stakes and less powerful heroes than many superheroic worlds. Themes include what art means to different people, and what it means to be a patron, whether as a sponsor, a parent, or a supporter. I consider Paternum‘s primary influences to be the various versions of Spider-Man, J. C. McCrae’s own superhero story Worm, and Drew Hayes’ story SuperPowereds. I hope that fans of such stories can find something to enjoy in mine as well. Paternum is primarily hosted on my website (thevoidwrites.com) where it updates weekly in groups of scenes totalling approximately 2000 words. Here on Royal Road, it will update once daily with one scene at a time, but only after each act is completed on the home site - the next batch of updates is scheduled to begin on February 5th. There is a discord channel for discussion (discordapp.com/invite/QFMM6yA), and you can vote for Paternum on topwebfiction (topwebfiction.com/vote.php?for=paternum) as well. Finally, you can buy the first book of Paternum, The Swift Uplifting Rush, in a couple different ways - as an ebook through Amazon, or directly from me for a discounted price, or as a physical paperback from Amazon. Buying the book will give you access to Drawing Hands, an exclusive arc that won't ever be published on either my site or Royal Road.

The Princess of Victory
The Crown Princess of Forewood Kingdom, Victoria, was said to be perfect in all the things that she did. Which was an exaggerated rumor, of course. When the rebels-turned-kingdom Lirsk breached the peace treaty between them, war broke out. But Lirsk Kingdom was by no means fair, and countless underhanded matters was done in the military compound, pointing to a cause: there was a traitor amongst them. With the ever-wary, wrongly-accused young Major Dev, they tried to uncover the unknown: who was the traitor that caused hundreds of deaths? [Book 1 of the Guardians of Forewood series]
