《The blonde and the brunette》7: The first day

I wake up, and for the first time, I have a smile.
I'm all cozy in blankets and a big hoodie. Scott comes upstairs with a white cup with stream coming from it.
It smelt good.
It was coffee.
My favorite.
He handed it to me, and I thanked him.
He smiled and walked out of the room.
I got up and got dressed.
I put a tight black shirt on with tight skinny jeans.
I slipped my white high tops on and walked downstairs with my coffee.
"Good Morning, Mitch." He said, not looking at me right away.
I smiled, still not talking much.
He looked up and glanced at me.
"Woah, Mitch!! You look great!!" He said. My eyes grew wide and my mouth formed a smile again.
"Thanks, Scott." I smiled.
"Come sit." He gestured his hand to the seat next to him.
I sat down and sipped on my coffee.
He started talking to me about the future and he made sure that I knew it was okay here.
No one would hurt me.
Everyone was on my side.
Everyone liked me.
And he even told me that I could live here forever of I'd like.
I don't understand why he likes me enough to do this.
I'm not that special.
"Hey, you wanna sing with me today?" He asks.
That was random.
"Um... sure." I say.
He smiles.
Scott says to meet him in the spare room. He said it's his studio.
I did as he said.
It was a big room, filled with 5 microphones, a Piano, a recording booth, speakers and a computer.
He pressed a button, that turned on a light, and then turned two microphones on.
"So, how high can you go?" Scott asks.
"Well... I haven't sung in almost a year... so... I might not be good..." I say.

"Hey, I'm sure you're amazing." He said.
I smiled.
"Here, pick any song." Scott said, pointing to his computer screen.
I clicked on a song. It was by Beyoncé.
It was called Crazy in love.
I kind of thought it matched our friendship, since I had a little crush... okay... ammmm maybe a big crush on Scott.
Maybe he would notice.
I think... maybe, it would help if we were a thing... maybe?...
I don't know.
He smiled at my song choice.
"You like Queen Bee?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's amazing." I said.
He smiled. You could tell he loved her. Posters were everywhere.
He turned the song on.
"You okay with singing?" He asked.
I nodded, shyly.
He smiled. "I won't judge. I promise."
I smiled.
I knew he wouldn't.
The song began, and he started singing.
His. Voice. Was. a m a z i n g.
All I could do was to stare and smile.
Wow.
I smiled and started singing as well.
He stopped singing, and then started again.
He was in awe.
I mean, could you blame him?
IM KIDDING, or was I?
We sang and sang, and we sang this song over and over tighter.
This is where I felt something. Something special.
This song had meaning.
To me, at least.
I'm not ready to tell Scott I like him...
I just need to drop hints.
Maybe?
I smile at him and blow a kiss, like Beyoncé did in one of her videos.
I hoped he took it in a 'Mitchy loves you' way.
