Mitch has been acting much better, ever since I moved him into this room.

I've been spending the nights with him and we have been talking.

He still won't talk to anyone else. Only me.

He finally has gotten enough trust for me.

He says we are best friends now.

I'm glad.

I was thinking... maybe I could take him back to my house.

You know... just for a while.

He is old enough to live on his own and with someone.

So... maybe??

Would he even want to??

I decided to ask.

"Mitch?"

"Hm?" He says, Turing his head away from the window, where he was watching two birds singing.

"Would you... would you maybe like to stay at my place? Just for a while?" I asked.

He nodded very quickly.

"Anything to get me out of here. It would be fun living with you." He said.

I smiled.

"Good. We leave tonight." I say.

A smile grew on his face.

I wonder what will happen.

Will he be different?

Will he be happy??
