《The Blonde and The Brunette (Jemily)》twenty-four

It was a little more than a year later. Emily was fully recovered and so was Elle. Henry had turned three and Elle was finally eighteen, she had also finally started dating Brayden which everyone was happy for them. Emily and JJ had grown exponentially closer and JJ felt more secure after Emily made her that promise in the hospital.
Life at the BAU was good, Jessica had transferred out and they finally found an agent that fit. Agent Tara Lewis. Emily was still unit chief, but there was a new section chief who was extremely homophobic so JJ and Emily had to keep their love life undercover and everyone went along with it. Although now JJ had legally changed her last name to Prentiss, her file still said Jareau and everyone still called her JJ.
Today was the last day of work before they got a small winter vacation and everyone was dreading it. The team was a family and they had planned a small trip together. They had rented a large cabin in the more woodsy area of Virginia and were heading up tonight. JJ was wearing a red skin tight work appropriate pencil dress and made her way to Emily's office.
"Knock knock" JJ stated as she walked in.
"Hi love, what's up?" Emily asked.
"So, I was wondering if you wanted to pick up Henry from Daycare when you get Elle from school?" JJ asked as she sat down.
"Oh I knew you were going to say that, Elle took her car to school today and is picking up Henry then meeting us at Ross's with everyone else" Emily explained and made her way closer to JJ.
"I knew I loved you" JJ exclaimed then looked around to see if Chief Grisgold was around before kissing Emily.

"I hope that's not the only reason" Emily smiled and pulled JJ closer to her. Emily slipped a small box into JJ's hand from her pocket and JJ's eyes lit up with shock.
"What is this?" The blonde asked as she made her way to the couch and Emily followed.
"An early Christmas present" Emily smiled once more and JJ opened the box to reveal a heart necklace with a diamond in the middle that was extremely similar to her late sisters.
"I know that Will took the necklace Roslyn gave to you, and I know that it's not the same, it took me forever to find one this similar but-" Emily started as she saw a small tear leave JJ's eye.
"But I love it, and I love you, thank you Emily"JJ replied and kissed her wife, she didn't care if anyone saw this time.
"Excuse me" A voice said and Emily turned her head to see the section chief standing in the doorway.
"Yes ma'am?" Emily asked with no hesitation at all. Chief Grisgold looked disgusted and she hesitated at first to speak but continued to.
"As of right now you and Agent Jareau are suspended from the FBI pending reinstatement" she stated madly and walked out. Emily and JJ shared a look and Emily stormed out after her.
"I'm not going to be suspended for the gender of the person I love. Jennifer Jareau and I have been married for three years and we have been together even longer, you cannot suspend us for loving each other!" Emily exclaimed and the whole bullpen watched the exchange.
"Amanda, you know damn well that we are the best team there has ever been, and that Emily is the definition of what a unit chief should be!" Rossi explained as he made his way to stand behind Emily. JJ made her way to her wife as well and they interlocked their fingers.

"If Emily is suspended then suspend me too, this team only works because we all work together, so if one of us goes we all go" Derek said as he also walked up with the others.
"I'm right there with you" Garcia exclaimed then she, Tara and Reid followed and by now each one of them was standing behind Emily and JJ.
"We all go" Spencer exclaimed with anger.
"All of us" Tara said and everyone took each other's hands.
"Do you really want to do this Amanda? Suspend a whole team. If you do I will go to the director myself, we go out together every Saturday, he is one of my longest friends. So what do you want to do?" Rossi asked and everyone looked at each other like they were about to say goodbye
(you guys ask and you shall receive. I have decided to continue this story and I couldn't be more thankful for all of my readers and supporters! 🤍)

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.

Shattered Ocean/Broken Dreams
This is the story of the truth behind the eyes of a man, who lived through a time when no place was ever... Quiet. A tale of the brutal honesty of the human spirit. Of the fragility of the mind. A tale about the resilience of humanity's will to live. A tale, not of the soldiers, but of the people they embody, not of machines, but of workers who built them. A tale about advancement and regression. Of irony. Of iron. A story, of Shattered Oceans. A tale, of Broken Dreams
