Smythe expected great things of herself, and her father held that same aspect over her. He was the only family member in the state she had; obviously she relied on that validation.
Her room was a mess of a plethora of types of books. Ranging from law books she most certainly didnt steal from her father, her classics & newer books, diaries with scribbled blue pen and photo albums where she kept them pristine with lots of detail about who, where and when.
She was pristine. It's how she formed herself after she was dragged from Europe to America with little to no warnings beforehand. From her secondary school to some place in Ohio, where the only person she knew was her father.
She always was attached to her father till he started working later into the nights and earlier into the mornings. Doing endless and endless work on law & studying cases and looking into detail about everything.
She admired it, honestly. All this effort, and showing no remorse infront of his children for it. She had it drilled in her head to be like him.
When she took his law books, she took notes of his notes. Making them concise & straight to the point. She was drilled to be concise and straight to the point, it's all she knew.
Now starting high school where she would most certainly have to try harder to achieve more than whoever in this school could, especially in this environment she could already pre-sense.
Her first day was what she expected.
Keeping her head down all the way, all of her attention towards the path ahead to make sure no ignorant footballers got in her way as she twisted her finger around the cheap earphone she had in one ear, the tyrant shouts of the bitchy cheerleading coach broke her trance as she looked up & met the far away gaze of the a cheerleader at the top of the pyramid.

The Youngest Pevensie (a narnia fanfiction)
Everyone knows the story of the Pevansie Siblings, their adventure to Narnia, Edmund being enchanted by the witch, Mr Tumnus and of course Aslan. Something everyone forgets is their youngest sibling Sophie. She was just a baby when her siblings were evacuated so she had to stay at home with her mother. However when Edmund and Peter got into a fight at the train station she was 4 and was next to her siblings when they were called back to lead Narnia again. This time she's along for the ride.I own the character Sophie Pevansie and no one else. All rights go to C.S Lewis for the storyline. I'm basing it off the movie.
