"Can you tell me everything now?" Michelle asked raising her right eyebrow.

I sigh. "Okay, but promise me you won't freak out or feel pity for me and don't interrupt me till I'm done explaining. Okay?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Okay, I promise." She nods.

"I'm only telling you this because you are the only one I will let in, no one else. So don't tell anyone. It all started at home....." I explained to her everything about how my uncle abuses me and why I don't allow her to visit me when I am at home. I told her that my parents may still be alive but I don't know where they are. That my uncle told me my parents don't want me that's why I'm staying with him.

I told her why I wasn't at school for two weeks and how I got to Chase's house. Sometimes I hear her gasp but I chose to ignore them.

I was looking at my hands on my lap the whole time while telling her everything. I finally looked up. Her eyes are red while tears still fall.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her with a worried expression.

"Why didn't you tell me this?"

"Because, I didn't want you to feel any pity for me or ask me 'am I okay' every time I come to school." I told her the truth, letting out a sigh. She stood up, ran to my side of the table and hugged me tight.

"I can't believe you passed through all this and you managed to get to school happy. I did not even notice this." she said pointing at the fading bruises I showed her while explaining.

"But please promise me you won't tell anyone about all this I told you. Promise?" I said while we do the pinky swear.

"Promise." she went back to her seat.

"Now whip away those tears of yours and fill me in, on what's going on between you and Ace." I said watching her blush.

"Gosh!!! I don't even know where to start. You missed a lot. Okay, let me think first." She said taping her jaw. "Okay, you know what, I'm gonna cut it short." she stared at me.

"Yeah, go on." I gestured for her to continue.

"Well, the two weeks you weren't around. He will be there for me. At break, he and his friends, Chase and Mason will sit with me and make me laugh to death. I don't usually see Chase but he's a cool guy. You know what they say never judge a book by its cover. Well, I guess I did that to Chase before. But though he didn't talk or laugh much. He would usually be on his phone or stare ahead, that's by the way.

So Ace would follow me to my classes and kiss my cheek before saying goodbye. Then we exchange phone numbers. He always says goodnight to me before sleep."

We finally got home. You have no idea how happy I am. Michelle dropped me off before leaving. I got in the house.

"Hey Chase your girl is back and my sister is back!!" Mason shouts once he saw me.

"Really Mason? I'm not even his girl." I said while my cheeks turn red.

"But you guys like each other. Can one of you admit it for ones?" Mason whines.

"You know what? I have had a long day today. So goodnight." I said walking past Mason who is sitting on the couch.

I bumped on something hard no someone's hard chest. I looked up to see Chase.

"Oh sorry. I'm just really tired and goodnight." I get nervous around him.

"Wait! Let me help you get some of your things upstairs." he didn't even wait for my reply. He just took all my plastic bags with one hand and started moving in the direction of my room. I sigh and followed behind.

Once I reach the doorstep I was about to take out my keys that Chase gave me but my door is already unlocked and ajar. I'm sure I locked it before going out with Michelle.

I got in the room to find Chase laying on my bed. "Chase, how did you get in my room?"

"Well, I guess you forgot that this entire house belongs to me."

"Well, now that I have this room I don't think so and I'm sure your parents are also the owner of this house." He got tense and he looks like he wants to murder someone, hands turn into fist, gritting teeth hard against each other, eyes turn dark shade. What. Did. I. Just. Say? But they quickly went away like someone just pressed a single button.

He got up from my bed and was reaching the door but I quickly got hold of his right wrist. "What did I say wrong that made you suddenly tensed up?" I asked even though I know my real question is why did you get tensed by the mention of your parents ?

"Nothing."

"Then why are you leaving my roo-?" His lips smashed on mine. He kissed me passionately while butterflies flying in my stomach. He bit my lower lips to open up and me being stupid I opened up. He explores inside my mouth. Since he didn't tell me much about his family I stopped the kiss.

"You're asking too many questions princess." My cheeks are now shaded red.

"You promised to tell me everything about your parents."

"I will if you kiss me again."

Should I kiss him? But I just kissed him. But he's a really good kisser and his lips taste good plus I want to know more about him.

I leaned in to kiss him. But what happened just surprised me. He quickly pressed my body on his and put his lips on mine, still there kissing me he bites my lower lip to open up and I did. But quickly stopped because he said just a kiss.

I looked away finding the floor interesting.

"Soooo.... are you going to tell me now?" I asked still looking down.

"Yeah." I looked up at him so happy he's finally going to open up to me. "...tomorrow and you need to get some sleep princess." he said and left my room. My face turned from happy to disappointed. I was hoping he opens up this night. Why am I even so desperate? Have I fallen for him? Argh! Just first thing in the morning I'm going to him.

I yawned and went to my closet to change into my PJ. I came back out just when my phone buzzed. I went to the bed to pick it up and lay on my bed. I covered myself with the blanket.

I unlocked my phone to check my message and it's from an unknown number. I pressed the unknown number to check the message that is written:

Unknown: Never knew Chase could kiss yet another girl...

Wait! What? I quickly type back

Me: Who are you? And how did you know about Chase kissing?

That's weird. Is he some creepy spy or what?

The person replied immediately

Unknown: BS

Me: what do you want from me??

Unknown: you're many princess

He repeats Chase's earlier words. I am so tired to think about them so I let the darkness take over.
