《The Triplets' Guides (Reader Insert Version)》(y/n)'s Guide to Age Amplifying
Advertisement
(y/n) was in the Mystery Shack in the triplets' bedroom when she finally turned on the camera.
"Hi, I'm (y/n) Pines, and welcome to (y/n)'s guide!" she said. "Today, I was going to see Bloody Zombies Regurgitate Human Intestines III: The Unnecessary Gore, but..."
(y/n) was at the ticket booth of the movie theater, about to buy her ticket.
"One ticket for the bloody zombies movie!" she said in an inappropriately cheerful tone, as she slapped nine bucks onto the counter and slid the money forward.
She then slapped five more bucks onto the counter and leaned forward, putting her hand over her mouth to whisper something.
"And here's some extra cash to keep your mouth shut about where this money came from."
However, the man behind the ticket booth gave her an uncompromising stare as he pushed her money back towards her.
"Sorry, kid, that's an R-rated movie" he said, pointing to the movie ratings above him. "At your age, you require the accompaniment of a parent or legal guardian."
"What?!" exclaimed (y/n), her eyes widening in outrage. "I'll be the one to determine what I'm allowed to watch, you filthy little piece of-"
"And that's how I got banned from the Gravity Falls Movie Theater for life" (y/n) said, back in the triplets' room.
"Which is why today is (y/n)'s guide to...the age amplifier!"
She held up a new invention for the camera to see.
"I'll simply zap myself with this baby, and I'll be an adult in no time!"
She turned the dial on the side of the device.
"Just gotta enter the age, 24, and...done!"
She fired the device at herself, a blast of blue energy hitting her small body...
When the dust had finally settled and the camera was back on, (y/n) was checking out her new body.
She was obviously much taller than she had been before, about five foot four inches, her hair still pulled back into its usual ponytail, though it looked much longer.
(y/n) pumped a fist excitedly.
"Yes! It worked!" she said, in a voice that was a little lower than it usually was. "Ha! Ha! Natural laws of time space continuum, eat your heart out!"
She then realized that she was still wearing her twelve-year-old clothes, which were way too small for her.

"Um, I think I'm gonna need a change of clothes."
(y/n) was now standing in line at the movie theater ticket booth, wearing a dark green mystery shack t-shirt with shorts. She had pulled her hair down as well, to make herself seem as unrecognizable as possible.
She walked up to the counter rather confidently, and slapped her money down onto the counter.
"One ticket for Bloody Zombies Regurgitate Human Intestines III: The Unnecessary Gore!"
The man took her money, and gave her a ticket with a rather disinterested expression on his face.
"Auditorium 4, on your left" he said, as (y/n) bolted into the theater enthusiastically.
"Just don't puke in the theater, ma'am."
A few hours later, (y/n) exited the theater with a crazed expression on her face.
"That. Was. Awesome!" she was saying to the camera. "Especially the part when the zombie's decapitated head started to splatter blood all over the entire scene in 3D! Although, the man sitting next to me puking in my popcorn wasn't really as great."
She then looked down at the ground rather sadly.
"Well, I guess it's time to zap myself back to my normal age."
Then suddenly, she looked back up at the camera, a familiar mischievous look in her eyes as a new idea came into her mind.
"Or maybe, that can wait for just a little longer..."
(y/n) was riding a motorcycle down the street of the town, with a biker's helmet over her crazed expression.
There were several townsfolk crossing the street as she was tearing down it, and they screamed and just barely managed to leap out of the way as she sped right past them.
"WOO HOO!"
(y/n) was sitting at a table in a restaurant with a bottle of grape juice beside her and a glass full of the liquid in her hand, which she was chugging down as quickly as she could.
(y/n) was strapped into a roller coaster in the front car, and it was now plummeting down the drop.
She screamed in exhilaration at first, until she started to feel a little queasy from drinking all that grape juice.
She held a hand over her mouth, willing herself not to throw up...
(y/n) was now wearing a wingsuit as she stood at the very edge of the cliff of Gravity Falls. Her shirt was stained purple.

She took in a deep breath, before finally leaping off the edge, screaming in pleasure as she plummeted for a short while, before gliding over the trees of the forest.
(y/n) was now walking through the very center of the town, wearing a very different attire.
She had a black leather jacket with torn jeans and a clean shirt.
Her hair was cut choppy, a little shorter than shoulder length, and she had gotten a purple highlight.
She also had several silver piercings in one ear.
"This has gotta be the best idea that I've ever had! Though, I've had some pretty terrible ideas in the past" she said to the camera, as she continued to walk. "I never want to go back to being twelve again!"
Suddenly, she ran into two brown-haired kids, causing her to stop in the middle of the sidewalk.
"Hey!" she started yelling at them. "Watch where you're go-"
She stopped mid-sentence when she realized who she had just ran into.
It was Dipper and Mabel.
Her siblings' eyes both widened in recognition almost immediately.
"(Y/N)?!" they both exclaimed in shock simultaneously.
"Dipper? Mabel?" said (y/n), bending down so that they could see her better.
"Is that really you?" said Dipper in disbelief, as he walked up closer to her and observed her face from a closer distance.
It was definitely her.
Realization suddenly dawned on him.
"Don't tell me. Age Accelerator?"
"Age Amplifier" (y/n) corrected, holding up the cardboard sign before tossing it aside.
"Oh my gosh, (y/n), you look so edgy!" Mabel exclaimed excitedly, before putting one hand on her hip and pointing at her sister's outfit. "You really can make that rugged punk rebel look work!"
Dipper, on the other hand, was staring at (y/n) with a skeptical, disapproving look.
"Is that a tattoo?" he asked, pointing at (y/n)'s collarbone, where there was a black form that was the distinct shape of a phoenix etched into her skin.
(y/n) paused before answering him.
"It's...pen."
Dipper sighed.
"Ok, time to get you back to your normal age, (y/n)."
(y/n) frowned.
"What? No way! You have no idea how much fun I've had today. I voted for a dictator as mayor, gambled and won, and even filed a lawsuit against Nathaniel!"
She then scowled.
"Unfortunately, it turns out you're legally not allowed to sue a kid under sixteen."
Dipper, however, continued to take his practical approach.
"This is getting out of hand!" he scolded. "You need to de-age yourself, right now."
(y/n) crossed her hands over her chest.
"No. As a legal adult, I'm not obligated to listen to anything you tell me to do."
"You never listened to anything I told you to do even when you weren't an adult!"
Their argument was suddenly cut off by Mabel's gasp.
She was staring at (y/n)'s hand with shock.
"Oh my gosh, (y/n)!" she squealed loudly, pointing to her sister's hand. "Is that what I think it is?"
(y/n) looked down at her left hand to find an elegant silver ring with a small square diamond engraved onto it, catching the light from the sun. There was also a tiny peridot gem embedded on one side of the diamond, and a tiny alexandrite gem embedded onto the other side of it.
(y/n) looked at her sister quizzically.
"A ring?"
"That's an engagement ring, (y/n)!" Mabel shrieked.
"What?! No, it's not!"
"My sister's getting married in the future!"
"This doesn't prove anything! The device accelerates my body's physical age, not my future!"
Mabel didn't appear to be listening, for she was so caught up in her excitement that she was starting to rant aloud.
"I wonder if I can guess who your husband is gonna be! I bet those gems on the ring are birthstones! The green one's yours, but who's the purple one? It could be February or June..."
(y/n) looked back at Dipper with an annoyed expression on her face.
She handed her brother the age amplifier.
"Please zap me back now."
