I honestly didn't know what was going through my head as I walked out into the parking lot. My mom was waiting by her car and a smile spread across her face as I approached her. She raised both arms up in the air and did a little dance while laughing and squealing a little bit.

"Ah!! My baby girl did it, she just showed all those big boys how it's done!" She reached in for a hug and I couldn't help but smile a little at her excitement.

"What's wrong?" She asked as she pulled away from me and took the backpack off my shoulder.

"I really don't know, I'm having a little bit of a hard time," I admitted as I got into the car.

My mom threw my bag into the backseat of the car as she got in the driver's seat, a worried expression on her face.

"Why honey?"

"I -- I just don't know. I'm not really proud of the way we won, ya know to go against Coach like that and like I did it but it just doesn't feel right."

"Did he say something after the game to you?"

"Yeah, but that's not it," I said, tears began to fill my eyes. "I'm just not sure Dad would've been ok with how I handled the game."
