Breaking Ties finds Nick and Ava four years after Ties That Bind Us leaves off. They are busy balancing family life and running the Caponelli family. Gio's Story is the prequel to Ties That Bind Us. It is the start of the Caponelli empire, and we get a glimpse into some of our favorite--and least favorite- characters from Ties That Bind Us.
