Neha was going about her regular day. She had gone through her exercises and was currently on her way to check the mail. She was finally able to walk and was glad that her parent were no longer treating her as something that would break.

As she was staying with her parents, most of the letters were addressed to them, however there was one letter addressed to her that stood out the most.

The logo of the letter reminded her of the hospital where she had went to donate blood to Pooja.

Thats strange. Maybe they were sending her a thank you for donating blood?

Curiously, she ripped the letter open. At first, Neha was confused as to why the hospital would send her reports. It seemed to have to do with Pooja's health however a closer look at the reports seemed to be more like a DNA test.

Her eyes landed on the statement that read, "the alleged mother cannot be excluded as the biological mother of the tested child." With the table next to it stating "probability of paternity: 99.999999%"

Neha re-read the statement. She shook her head, there was no way. No fucking way.

Without missing a beat, she picked up the phone and dialed the number, they had to have mixed up her with some other client or patient. She was sure. She had lost her baby, despite the fact that her parents did not want to bring it up. Neha had known. She had known that her baby was gone.

So there was no way. No way.

Neha had to place that thought at the back of her mind. And waited for what seemed a life time for someone to take her call.

"Hello?" The other line pick up.

"Hi I'm Neha Sharma, I recently received some reports that I'd like to confirm are mine."

"One second please." The nurse went on to verify her identity and place her on hold.

"Hello Miss Sharma, there seemed to be a mix up-" Neha let out a breath of air in relief. She knew that there had to be a mix up.

"While the reports are accurate, these reports were sent to the wrong address." The lady continued.

"Excuse me?!" Neha exclaimed.

The reports were accurate?

The poor health official on the phone was confused, "It seems that you are the mother of Pooja Kapoor. However it seems that is why one of the healthcare office worker got confused between you and the adoptive mother."

Adoptive mother?

The phone dropped. Neha blinked processing the information, what was she hearing?

Very faintly could Neha hear "Hello ma'am? Ma'am?" coming from the her iphone.

Suddenly like she was being hit by the truck. She was brought back to the day of the accident.

Kabir was getting restless waiting for Neha at home. He grabbed the phone and dialed Neha's number.

Neha had recently got back from the doctors and was excited to tell Kabir the good new-that she was pregnant and he was going to become a father.

She picked up Kabir's call without realizing her surroundings.

Neha shook her head. Stopping mid flashback, Neha couldn't believe this. How was it possible that she had a child? She was in a coma...how?

This was all becoming too much for her as she a grabbed a chair to sit down and quickly grabbed her phone as well.

"H-hello?"

"Hello ma'am are you okay?" the person on the line asked.

"y-yes. Actually no. Is Pooja really my child?"

Now the person on the other line was confused, "Yes ma'am. Isn't that why you donated blood? To save your child's life?"

Neha felt sick but responded, "yes sorry."

"There's nothing to be sorry for. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"No thank you, have a nice day." With the she hung up.

Neha stood up and started to pace around the room.

She was told that she had lost her baby when she went into coma. Unless... her eye widen. They were ALL involved in it. Her parents, Serena and Kabir.

Did they think that she didn't deserve to know that her baby was alive?

Her baby had survived! Her baby was Pooja. Neha Sharma had a daughter. A daughter that grew up not knowing about her existence.

Her thoughts were scattered but there was one thing that Neha knew for sure-Kabir had taken her baby from her and didn't even bother to tell her that she was a mother. Suddenly all she saw was red.
