《Only A Kiss || TinCan》Chapter 03: No!

No.
Over my dead body.
Not even after being thrown on a building and killed.
Or when thrown over a 30-story building with a naked, dead body.
I look at him, his eyes just as wide as mine, when our gazes meet the hatred that radiates from them could kill anyone who crosses the path.
"No!" I yelled quickly before he or anyone can say something about it.
"Come on friend, it's just a kiss." Pond says, amused at my expression.
It doesn't matter that it's just a kiss, that doesn't change anything. It is my first kiss and I am not going to give it to someone who does not feel anything and less with an idiot like him.
I hear my sister screaming with joy on the other side, for her this is a dream come true, however for me, this is a complete nightmare.
"I also say no." I hear the idiot said, "I would be dead first before my lips touch that dirty boy full of mud." He said, looking at me from above as if I'm something worthless.
Seeing this made me fill with anger.
"Oh yeah? I also think the same of you! I would be dead first before kissing a conceited person like you!" I yelled at him.
"Man, that was a terrible insult..." Pond whispers from the side.
"Please, don't fight," Pete says, looking worriedly at both of us.
"He's right, if they don't want to kiss it's fine but don't fight here, it will leave a very bad image of our faculties." Says Ae.
"Well, the game doesn't work that way." Says a girl from the other side.
"That's true, they have to kiss! We all did!" I hear another boy say, I begin to feel the pressure that everyone generates at this moment when I hear their murmurs. I see the idiot again and unlike me, the words do not seem to hurt him in any way.
He is not going to change his decision and that helps me because I still won't do it and stay firm. At least I won't be the only bad guy here.
"Guys enough...if they don't want to, don't press." Says the girl with red hair.
They all pout, not liking the verdict, I find myself annoyed because if I had been smarter, I would have left this game a while ago.
"I'm going..." I said angrily and stood up. Ae and Pond tried to stop me but I get far enough away from them that they can't follow me.
"It's all his fault, it's all his damn fault, why did he have to sit across from me?"
"I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!!"
"Idiot, cocky, stupid...where the hell am I?"
I look around me and see trees everywhere, I do not see the lake, nor do I see light or people, without realizing I went into the forest.
This can't be happening to me.
I walk and walk, trying to go back the way I came but at some point I lost my footsteps. It is already very late, only the light of the stars illuminates the sky and I ca hear what I think is an owl that made me tremble.
I don't like this...to my luck, my phone has no signal in this place.
"I'm going to die, I'm going to die here and they will never find me because the animals are going to eat my body, my sister will take my room and my games and... "

I breathe hard, a wave of wind whips the trees causing them to move everywhere, my dirty clothes are not enough to warm me and I begin to feel the cold.
I hear a very loud noise behind me, turning around, I see a shadow. I walk away fast to the side. I can feel the heartbeat near my neck and the branches cracking behind me.
A monster is following me!
I walk so fast that I'm about to run and start screaming when the demon catches up with me.
"Help! Let go! Help!" I scream and kick with my eyes closed until I hit a leg.
"Aah! Idiot!" When I hear the voice, I opened my eyes and saw a human not a demon.
Well he's a demonized human that's for sure.
But what is he doing here?
"You were following me!" I told him, still with my voice shaking.
"I'm not following you, you idiot! I'm going to my faculty cabin!" He tells me while stroking his leg where I just kicked him.
Wait, does he know the way?
"Do you know how to get there?" I asked hopefully.
"Of course you silly child, don't you have the map?"
"Map? What map?"
"Stupid, the map they gave us as soon as we entered!" He tells me as if I were a fool, which I am, because now that I remember the first thing I did before taking the map was to go to the bathroom...but he doesn't have to know that.
"Ah yes, the map...I left it in the cabin."
He only raises an eyebrow and continues on his way, ignoring me.
I follow behind trying to keep up, because I know well enough that this demonic reincarnated as a man won't mind leaving me here in the middle of the monsters.
"Why are you following me?" I hear him say as he passes under some branches.
"I'm not following you." I say, downplaying it and adding security to my words.
"Then why are you going on the same path as me if your cabins are further west?"
"West? what is that? Don't try to confuse me with your rich kid language."
"God, you really are..." He says and sighs.
There is a howl and I go white, I feel like the blood has left my body.
"Is that a wolf?" I asked, trembling and getting much closer to the conceited person.
"Yes." He says as if it was nothing, as if he is just naming a dog or asking a for direction.
Another howl and this time I hear it closer. Instantly my body seeks refuge and I take him by the arm, pulling him.
"Hey! Let go of me!" He tells me while moving his body, trying to free himself.
"He's coming after us!" I yelled outrageously.
"Let me go!" He continued saying without success because if I let go, I know that he will run away and leave me here as a scapegoat, letting the wolf eat me while he can save himself.
I'm not a fool as you think, if they eat me...they will eat him too.
"Silly boy! The wolf comes from a nature reserve near here! It is fenced and no dangerous animals are outside those fences, much less in this forest!"
"Really?" I loosen my grip on him.
"Yes! Now let go!" Then he pushed me so hard that I end up falling to the grass again. "Hell, you dirty my clothes with your dirty clothes." He even looks angrier than he was a while ago.

But I don't care because there is no wolf...just an idiot in front of me.
We walked for several minutes and I find myself moving a little closer to him, but he does not say about it, only focuses on the road.
This is starting to bore me, there are only trees around me...
"And...did you leave the game?" I asked, trying to kill the boredom.
"I don't like group games." He answers dryly.
"Ah...and what games do you like?"
But I received no answer, he really is a hateful.
"I like Fall Out." I say, as if he is interested in what I do or think. "I also like online games and board games, but I don't like monopoly because I always end up bankrupt although once I was with some frien---"
"Can you shut up? It is impossible to think with your shrill voice near me!"
"It is impossible to think with your shrill voice near me" I say imitating him with a mocking voice, he glares at me again and I shut up.
Another ten minutes with nothing but the sound of the wind and branches creaking.
I'm not going to lie, being quiet is not my thing.
"Don't take it personally..." I tell him, trying to start a conversation again. "I'm talking about the game earlier..." For a moment, I think I have caught his attention because of how he slows down, but then he accelerates it again, "I mean, it could have been you or anyone but I still wouldn't kiss them anyway."
Silence.
"Oh, yeah? And why?" He says after a while.
"Because I'm not the kind of person who kisses someone just because a bottle tells me to. I have to like them first."
"So you never kissed anyone."
What the hell? How did he know?
"What? Of course I kissed someone, many people in fact! There are so many that I can't count them on my hand!" I say, raising my voice and looking annoyed, now I remember why I didn't want to talk to this conceited, because everything he does make me more and more angry.
I crossed my arms and walk almost past him without paying attention to him, I don't want to talk to this man anymore.
"We're here." He says suddenly, I raise my eyes a little to see light a few meters from us.
My heart feels relief.
My family, the pillar of the house has managed to survive, you can now sleep soundly.
I would almost run towards the cabins if it weren't because I'm sore from so many falls.
Okay, civilization, now I just have to find my cabin.
I see how the conceited turns to the left wanting to leave me alone.
"Hey!" I yell at him and reach for him. "Do you know where my cabin is?"
"I told you that the engineering cabins were further west." He muttered, gritting his teeth.
"But I didn't see any west..." I tell him, my voice sounded higher than I wanted. "Or did that also come with the map?"
"How did you get to college?" He says and exhales a large amount of air.
I just stare at him, silently waiting for this conceited idiot to take pity on me.
"It is over there." He says and points to my left. "It's about 25 more minutes walking." I look where he points and when I see him again he's already walking the other way.
"Wait! Come with me!" I screamed and reach for him again.
He brings his hands to his head, looking as if he's tired or upset, I don't know why but he always looks upset.
"I'm not going to accompany you." He says, I can't hold him back so I follow him instead.
"You share the room with Pete right? Then, I'll sleep in the same cabin as you."
"You will not."
"Why not?? Pete is my friend! He won't leave me alone!"
"You don't have to take advantage of his kindness, you got into this, you jump out!" He screams but I don't care, I will follow him anyway.
When I think he gets to what is his cabin, the lights are already off. It is definitely not the same as ours, this cabin is twice the size and has two floors...I think it's even bigger than my house.
"Go away." He tells me again before opening the door.
"No. If you leave me here and I get lost, I will die tomorrow because of dehydration, the guilt will fall on you, I will write on a paper, accusing you."
"To die of dehydration you have to be under high temperatures and minimally without drinking water for three days."
Okay...I didn't know that.
"It doesn't matter, if something happens to me it will be your fault." I say holding my ground.
I see him looking at me, his eyes almost trying to kill me. He seems to think, but I remain with my arms crossed and without moving.
"Okay."
Really? I win?
"Great!" I respond changing my face to a much more cheerful one, I'm about to open the door but his arm stops me.
"Not without first collecting payment everything you've done to me."
"What? What have I done to you?" I ask extremely offended. Adding that, I have no money to pay anyone, much less pay for something I did not do.
"What did you do to me? Look at my clothes, it's dirty because of you! You yelled at me in the middle of everyone at the campfire, you pulled my arm for like five minutes, you tormented me with your shrill voice for like half an hour! You are a curse!"
"Just for that you want to get money from me? You are an opportunist! You just want to leave me penniless on a whim!"
"Who said I want your filthy money?"
Damn, what an egocentric person.
"What do you want then?" I asked and the atmosphere changes. I feel a tension surrounding me, I don't know if it is from the cold or what, but something is surely happening.
Suddenly, I am pulled from my jacket by the idiot which leave me in shock, the way he looks at me made me feel as if he is going to hit me, I have to react or else...
What? This is definitely not a hit. It's his lips, against mine...
My sister always said that I have a slow brain, and maybe she is right, because I took my time to understand what is happening.
The smug's lips are soft unlike him who is so hostile. His breath hitting me is hot, while he always acts cold. I place my hands on his chest to pull away but...THAT'S HIS TONGUE? DID HE JUST PUT HIS FUCKING TONGUE IN MY MOUTH?
I do not know what he does or how he manages to do it but his tongue inside me made me lose my thoughts, he moves it from one side to the other, colliding with my tongue, touching my teeth, my cavity.
A strange noise comes out of my mouth and whatever effort I try died in because of the continuous attack against me.
I no longer feel cold, I find myself heated between his kisses and the heat that his body emits so close to mine.
My legs are shaking, I'm about to fall, and I actually fall to the ground when he finally lets me go. A string of saliva falls to the side of my mouth which he wipe with his finger.
"As I thought, you've never kissed anyone." He says with a half smile on his face, making fun of me.
Any strange feeling I felt a few seconds ago fades away, I'm angry, enraged, he stole my first kiss and not only that, he made fun of me!
I try to compose myself and get up to give him a fist in the face that I have saved for him for quite some time, but when I am finally about to reach him, my face hits the front door while he is inside the cabin.
"Auch, my nose...hell, it's bleeding..."

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
