A week has passed and Larry hasn't come out of his room. He was able to eat a little to help him making through the day but he doesn't have any strength. He tried to force himself to eat more but he couldn't. He needed strength. He needed to be able to walk. He have only a week left to go meet the gang who killed Can and Tin. Tears fell down to his chin nonstop and he didn't bother wiping it. He was already feeling comfortable with them. Anyone who doesn't know about the situation, they were hoping for Tin and Can to come back ...but Larry....
He believed and sure that they were dead and no matter how much he wants to see their faces again, he won't anymore. He was still on his crying mood and didn't notice that Mr. Fah had already entered his room.
Mr. Fah - Larry, have you eaten?
Larry glared up at his stepfather.
Mr. Fah has dark circles under his eyes and he looked very pale. With the situation going on, no one couldn't be able to sleep.
Larry - get out.
Mr. Fah - (knelt down to face level with Larry) why are you doing this? What's behind all of this?
Larry - (blocking his ears with his hands and cried like a lunatic) leave! Go away! Just leave!
Mr. Fah - Larry, you have to tell me what's wrong. Otherwise, I can't help you.
Larry - No! Go away! Just go!! Leave me alone!
Mr. Fah stared worriedly at the young man crying. Everything. Everything has fallen apart. His son Can was kidnapped and Larry is acting crazy... he hates himself for not be able to do anything. What kind of father is he if he can't even protect his sons?

Mr. Fah - there is still no sign of your brother anywhere, Larry. I really hope that your brother is okay...
Larry's crying changed to a soft whimper when he heard his stepfather's voice crack with emotion.
Mr. Fah - Can... he...he's always so easygoing and sometimes I wish he could be more like you, Larry.
Larry slowly unblocked his ears with his hands as he sniffed.
Mr. Fah - he always pretends to be okay with everything. I do know he's not okay with every decision I made but he holds it in. He wants me to be happy. And it turns out in the end that I have become a very greedy father. I overlooked him from every possible way, forgotten who I'm dealing with...until I met you, Larry.
Larry's teary eyes met his stepfather's. He could feel sincere in them and somehow...he felt warm and comfortable.
Mr. Fah - you made me want to change myself. You made me realized what a fool of a father I have been. I want to interact with you and Can more. I want to be there when you needed me. I want to listen to all of your issues and be like a normal father for once. So please... tell me what happened to you?
Larry clenched his teeth together. The anger starting to build up.
Larry - why do you want to know about me when your son is nowhere to be found!? You should be worrying about him, not me!
Mr. Fah - of course, I worry. I worry for the both of you. I pray for Can from every breath I take, wishing...hoping...that he'll be okay. (Tried to hold his tears) I miss him. I miss your brother, Larry. That's why I have to be strong... strong for him to come back. And you too, Larry. Be strong for your brother, don't starve yourself like this.

Those words are like sending needles to Larry's heart. If Mr. Fah would've known, he wouldn't be talking nice like this to him.
Fuck it.
Larry - Mr. Fah.... (Inhaled and exhaled) Can is dead... he's not coming back.

Saga of the Storm Wizard
Rose Cooper had always been told she has a lot of potential as a wizard cadet. Too much, in fact; her weather magic frequently ran wild when her emotions got the better of her. That was why the mission to uncover a lost magical artifact in the Spratly Islands was perfect for her. They were no man's land, abandoned by both the demonic Grim Horde and the human Anti-Demonic League. All Rose would have to do to do was keep the weather under control. All of that talk of the Spratly Curse was just superstition and nonsense spread by bored sailors. If only. Evil wore many masks, as Rose was about to discover. Warning: This story contains elements that some readers may find disturbing, and minor language. Think of it as a PG-13 rating. This series is a spinoff of the Confessions of the Magpie Wizard series. As such, it contains spoilers for the main series. I have attempted to write it so that you could start here without reading the original story. A Fate Set in Stone (On Hold)
After dying and making his way into the afterlife, our protagonist happens to have a stroke of good luck. With the help of the substitute god of death, he's given a second shot at life in a world run by gods who probably played too many video games as kids. Monsters, magic, dungeons, bandits, and all that good stuff is there, except it turns out to be much different than Jed initially expected.(I picked some generic tags since this is my first story and I am not 100% sure where it is going to go. Mature warning is only there for some less-than-polite language.)
