-junkyu-
It's been an hour since Junkyu sat on the hotel chair, thinking of a new book idea. He's currently in Japan to look for an inspiration. Pieces of crumpled paper are scattered on the floor. Well, Being a perfectionist like Junkyu had always been hard. Like, Everything hasn't been good enough for him.
Especially when he is currently writing a book. He wrote books that are insanely popular. Especially in Japan. But he chose to be anonymous to prevent further accidents like delusional fans. As of now, he only released his name.
The already frustrated junkyu, let out a frustrated sigh. He might have the writer's block since he can think of ideas faster than a speed of light back then. But now, he can't seem to think of ideas like that. The 'writer's block' is considered to be a disease. As an author himself, he can't get away from the so-called disease. His hands traveled to his phone.
The date was somewhat familiar to him. Too familiar. He looked at his schedule for tomorrow. His eyes slowly became wide. Holy Cheese sticks! Tomorrow is his mother's birthday! The person who gave birth to him. He dialed his secretary's phone number and she immediately responded.
A woman greeted, who seem to be in her mid 20's. He said to his secretary. She said pathetically and he immediately ended the call. He didn't want to deal with his secretary's plastic-like personality. He had no choice but to hire her.
He packed his luggage and he immediately went back to his hotel chair. He sat there while tapping his foot repeatedlyon the polished floor. As you can probably already tell, he was getting impatient.
He wanted to be there, on time for his mother's birthday. His secretary texted him that she already booked his flight to Korea. As soon as he received the text, He went outside while carrying his luggage. As he entered the taxi, he said to the driver to drive him to the airport.

*time skip*
Junkyu is already inside of the airplane. He wasn't so sure about having an airplane seat buddy. He wanted the two seats for him, Only for him. Junkyu was a heavy sleeper, for sure. And by the looks of it, he was on the aisle side and not the window side. If he had an airplane seat buddy, that guy would probably be stuck with Junkyu.
The airplane was already leaving and the seat beside him was still empty. But then, A small man rushed and appeared in front of him. He was indeed cute in the eyes of Junkyu. But his only concern is that, he can't own the seat beside him anymore.
Oh well, guess he has to deal with Junkyu now.

8 137Paternum: A Superhero Story
When Quinn finds an experimental superpower-granting costume in their parents’ attic, they didn’t expect to be drawn into a web of superhuman intrigue, but their discovery serves as the catalyst for that conspiracy to slowly unravel. At it’s heart, Paternum is an extended coming-of-age story for the main character as they become a superhero, in a world with more reasonable stakes and less powerful heroes than many superheroic worlds. Themes include what art means to different people, and what it means to be a patron, whether as a sponsor, a parent, or a supporter. I consider Paternum‘s primary influences to be the various versions of Spider-Man, J. C. McCrae’s own superhero story Worm, and Drew Hayes’ story SuperPowereds. I hope that fans of such stories can find something to enjoy in mine as well. Paternum is primarily hosted on my website (thevoidwrites.com) where it updates weekly in groups of scenes totalling approximately 2000 words. Here on Royal Road, it will update once daily with one scene at a time, but only after each act is completed on the home site - the next batch of updates is scheduled to begin on February 5th. There is a discord channel for discussion (discordapp.com/invite/QFMM6yA), and you can vote for Paternum on topwebfiction (topwebfiction.com/vote.php?for=paternum) as well. Finally, you can buy the first book of Paternum, The Swift Uplifting Rush, in a couple different ways - as an ebook through Amazon, or directly from me for a discounted price, or as a physical paperback from Amazon. Buying the book will give you access to Drawing Hands, an exclusive arc that won't ever be published on either my site or Royal Road.

One final battle leaves The Peacekeepers outnumbered and The Chosen One is overtaken and presumed dead.
