I sit lonely in my cell wonder how it all went wrong, I mean , I remember how it all started , and it had the perfect support to stay strong but it just didnt .

"Hey there ." He says , his mascular figure towering over my shrumpy body .

"I'm Jason Smith , what's your name ." He says again sitting uninvitedly on the chair next to me .

"Cassandra , Cassandra Miller ." I say back to him . I'm a bit nervous .

See he is the best football player in Mitchigan and also the most popular boy here , and what am I? Nothing , literal nothing .

This boy here, he has the power to make me or break me , I can feel it .

"Well nice to meet you Cassiey , can I call you that?" He asks .

"Yea sure ." I say looking down at the pencil in my hands .

"Why are you always in here during recess?" He asks .

"What do you mean always ." I ask .

"Oh sorry , must've sounded like a stalker . Well I've been here for three weeks straight during recess and I see you here everytime and you're always alone , so I guess that brings me back to my question . Why are you always here?" He says . He plays it off so coolly.

"I like sitting here , alone . I find peace ."I lie .

"Come one Cassiey , you can do better than that . Tell me ." He persuades .

"No reason at all . I just like it in here ." I lie again .

"Then you wont mind sitting with me tomorrow outside ?" He asks with a risen eyebrow .

I loudly gulp and that only widens his smile . Like what does this boy want from me .

"Yea , sure ." I say in a shaky and squicky voice that does not belong to me .

And as if on cue the bell rings .

That was also the day I knew that I had feelings for Jason . He was very persistent, tried in every means to be close to me . All for shit !

"Cassiey , hey!" He shouts when I get out of English class.

He walks over to me , the entire school is watching is right now . He slings a hand over my shoulders . Then he begins walking to the field .

"Come on , its recess and you said you'd sit out-tside with me ." He exaggerates the 't' in the word outside .

Oh holy mother of christ what have I gotten myself into? Why did I agree ? Stupid , stupid , stupid .

Instead , my body follows him . We sit on the bleachers . He opens a large pizza box and puts it in between us.

"Munch on , bookworm ." He says . And I laugh .

I grab a slice . We spend the rest of the recess talking about his goals . Apparently he wants to get into businesses .

How farfetched , that boy is airheaded . But who am I to pop his bubble .

From that day Jason and I spent every recess together on that field . His friends ever knew me .

He then started to see why I didn't want to sit outside during recess.

We are all seated around three large boxes of pizza . And by we I mean Cody , Jason's bestfriend , Riley , team caption and Jason . The rest of the team couldn't join us today .

Riley and Cody are cracked up , they keep on telling me how funny I am. Wow , these two right.

Jason's been acting kind of weird since yesterday when he offered to drive me home and also take me to lunch .

He keeps on looking at me . The boys are all laughing at me as I tell them why I cant play football with them .

"No really , the ball will fly right past my hands when I try to catch it . See , I've got loose hands " I say and they both just die on the floor .

Jason chuckles then nibbles on the pizza , I can feel his eyes on me the entire time .

"Is what I'm hearing really true? Jason you're dating this ... this thing?" That voice I know it.

Its Crystal , the richest and most popular girl in this school. She and Jason dated a year ago , and she broke things off , why would she be angry if he was with me , that's if he was with me .

"Who are you calling a thing Crystal?" Jason says , sounding very annoyed .

"That rag , sitting next to you is what I'm calling a thing Jason ." She says .

"If I were you I'd leave right now. " Jason says .

"Or what?" She urges .

"I wouldn't do that." I say through my teeth in a pitch voice, Riley and Cody both laugh they're heads off .

"I'll tell the whole school that I broke up with you because you had a crush on that nerd , Josh." Jason says .

Wait what ,piccadilly Josh? The same guy who picks his nose in class, like eww.

Riley and Cody laugh, wait I didnt say that in my head ? Oh snap!

"What did you call him?" She says stalking her exeggaretedly high heels towards me .

Jason throws her a glance, she huffs , turns around then leaves .

"Some people sure know how to disturb peace ." Jason says lowly .

The same day , Jason told me he had feelings for me . And that's when we started dating , fuck I loved him . He was my everything . I remember how I stood by his side when momma wanted to throw him out .

Flashback

"Momma this is my boyfriend Jason Smith . Jason this is my mother Adeline Miller. " I say introducing the most important people in my life to each other.

"Nice to meet you ma'am " Jason says , outreaching his hand.

"What's nice about meeting me? What do you want from my daughter , do you want to hurt her , to get into her pants and leave her just like the other boys do other girls. Not my baby." She says .

"Momma , just give him a chance please . You'll see , he's very sweet , you'll love him ." I beg her .

"I doubt that ." She mumbles but shakes Jason's hand .

"Nice to meet you Jacob" she says . Come on momma .

"Its Jason. " he corrects .

"That's what I said ." Momma smile weakly.

That day I told momma that she didnt know Jason , turns out niether did I. Because he did exactly what momma said he would and I'm left here alone .

We drive into my favourite restaurant , he parks near the entrance because we always forget were we parked the car .

We walk in , when I walk in have to pick up the dress I'm wearing . He told me to be formal for our seventh year anniversary.

He is in a neat tux , and let me say I've wet my panties .

He holds my hand , when we enter . He whispers something to the man standing at the door and the man immediately responds. He ushers us to a table , he made reservations? Wow .

As we sit there , the food arrives . He already ordered my favourite meal , which is a salad , some ribs and a few saucy dips . Slaupy but always hits the spot .

We both eat in silence , when we're done eating . The waiter brings dessert and takes away the plates.

He ordered a slice of red velvet cake and vanilla ice cream for me and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for him .

I dig my fork into his slice of cake and he laughs .

But this laugh ,its weird . It's almost chocked out .

"Baby , are you okay?" I ask him .

He nods , swear pricks down his forehead .

I dig my fork into my cake and I eat on , so does he . But his eyes remain on me .

I dig in to my ice cream , as I'm about to swallow I feel something hard against my tongue... I cough it out .

It's a... ring?

I look up at Jason but he's not there , what? And at my side there he is . The ring in hand, all wiped off and clean.

"Cassandra , you've made me tha happiest nan alive , but now I want you to be the happiest woman alive, let me give you all you need . Let me give you my love , my time, my energy and my last name ? Will you marry me?" He asks .

A tear slips from my eye . I cant believe it , I'm about to shit myself , did I just cuss?

That memory has me smiling all alone . But that sick fuck had to ruin it all for me .
