《TMNT Dimensions (completed)》Chapter 6: Backwards, part 4

"What? Wait, where are my friends? I need to talk to them!" Bree begged Miwa, suddenly worried for the turtles. Plus, she figured Donnie would be able to crack this case.
"You mean the mutants? Rocky locked them up. What were you doing with The Turtles anyway? Did they kidnap you? Or are you working with Splinter? I'm sorry, I need to talk to my sisters. I don't know if we can trust you!" Miwa said, half talking to herself. She jumped up and ran towards the big metal doors that Bree was sure must have led to the lab.
"Wait! Kar- uh, Miwa! These aren't the same turtles!" But it was too late. Miwa had vanished behind the doors. Bree groaned and tried to stand up. Her legs felt like jello, as if she had just run the mile at school. She gripped the edge of the couch and managed to inch her way across the room.
Finally, she managed to make it to the metal doors. They looked smaller on TV, now, they were big and foreboding. Hushed voices were talking inside. Bree pressed her ear to one of the doors, but she was too late. It slid open, and Bree fell forward. This time, no one caught her.
Bree fell on her face.
"OW! Sewer apples..." she muttered. She had been wanting to say that her whole life.
She rolled over so that she was laying on her back, and stared into four pairs of eyes, one very dark blue, one brown (Miwa, Bree knew), one green, and one baby blue, all of whom were peering down at her with wonder.
The one with the baby blue eyes seemed more excited though.
"Oh. My. PINEAPPLE! You guys! Another human! What do you think her name is? Oh, um, hello, what's your name?" Said the baby blue-eyed girl. Wait... girl? If this was the turtle's lair, wouldn't they be mutants? The only girl human the turtles knew was April, and April had short, red hair, while this girl's hair was long, shimmering blond, and done in a simple braid that was tied with an orange hairband. The girl had freckles. April did not have freckles.

Miwa face-palmed and the one with green eyes rolled her emerald irises. Bree pushed herself into a sitting position. "Um... my name is Bree. Who are you?" Bree asked. All the other girls gasped and turned to Miwa. Wait... four girls? Again, April was the only girl the turtles knew.
Miwa shrugged and put her hands up in defense.
"I told you, she didn't know anything. It's like she's been living under a rock for... well, forever!"
The one with dark blue eyes peered down at Bree through wire-rimmed glasses that looked handmade. She extended a calloused hand, which Bree tentatively accepted. It was easier to stand the second time around.
"Hello, Bree. My name is Danyella. These are my sisters. You already know our fearless leader, Miwa. Rocky, the one with the lightning bolt scar on her cheek. She's the team hot-head. And then there's the sunflower of the family, Madeline, but everyone calls her Maddy." Said the ocean-eyed girl.

Cornucopia of Hope
The graduating class of Hope's Peak Academy has been kidnapped sometime after their graduation ceremony. They wake up in a beautiful, plush mansion with no idea where they could be other than the name Our Mansion of Plenty. The physical barriers of steel plates and locked doors might not be enough to cage them, if it weren't for the malicious mechanical fairy calling itself The Fey and ruling their new lives with an iron--albeit tiny--fist. While being kidnapped is bad enough, the fact that this fairy brat is telling them to kill each other is definitely worse. Apparently, murdering one of your fellow victims is the only way to get out of this luxurious mansion. But nobody would do that...right? Cornucopia of Hope is a non-canon killing game completely alienated from the the canon universe of the Danganronpa games. The things borrowed from the games are as followed: Hope's Peak Academy, and the structure of 16ish hyper-skilled teenagers trapped in an enclosed space and being subjected to a motive, a murder, an investigation, a trial, and an execution of the presumed killer. There are no spoilers, tie ins, or previous knowledge required of the series to read this story!

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
