Bree showed the turtles all the memes she had screenshotted, she showed Donnie her mediocre bō-Jitsu, raved to Leo about little siblings, joked with Mikey, and discussed fighting techniques with Ralph, and overall tried to postpone the inevitable: their departure. Suddenly, the portal above Bree's window began to falter. No one had noticed that it hadn't closed up like it normally did.
"Guys, we gotta go before it's too late," Leo warned, his voice deep and gravely from his epic battle with Shredder that put him in a three-month coma. The three were reluctant but understood.
"What about me?" Bree asked, not wanting to be sidelined like April and Casey were so often.
The turtles exchanged a look. Ralph began to speak.
"Listen, kid, this has been nice and all but you can't come. Your not a ninja. You're not prepared."
Donnie picked up the speech. "No offense, but your bō-Jitsu is terrible-"
"Uh, OFFENSE TAKEN!!" Bree interrupted, practically yelling, but she knew Donnie had a point.
"Plus, we have no idea how your cells will react to the portal. I still don't know the physics behind it all. Does it work for us because we're mutants, but then again, April and Casey can pass through easily, so maybe it has something to do with-"
"UUHHHH!! Okay, dude! We get it!" Mikey intervened. He turned to Bree. "Sorry dudette, but you can't come. It's comforting to know that there are humans out there who appreciate all we do, but if something happened to you, I know I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. Sorry." Everyone had tears in their eyes by now.
"Okay, fine. I'll stay." Bree promised, but her fingers were crossed behind her back. Mikey gave her one big bear hug before following his brothers.
Once the last of Mikey had disappeared into the portal, which was now mutagen green, Bree leaped through.
Once the room was empty, the portal flickered once, twice, then shut off, the triangle that projected it thumped onto the pink comforter, just as the turtles had.

Through the Vortex
It all started when Howard walked in on a top secret meeting between the government and his childhood ‘friend’. This was the last thing he had expected, especially since he had just walked into his own house! The next thing Howard knew he was dragged along to an adventure he wanted nothing to do with, and even forced to play an important part. It was a simple deal. The gathered criminals, and Howard, would go out to space, take readings on a strange anomaly, and come back with their names cleared. All fun and games before they went through the vortex. The Man Who Walked in the Dark
Just because it can be found, doesn't mean it should. All things found, all things fixed. Jude Demarco was the best private detective Nicodemia Station had ever ignored. Detective, handyman, medic. He was a bulldog who tracked down every lead and wouldn't let go until the bloody truth died dripping in his jaws. Even if someone got hurt. Even if someone got killed. You lost it? He can find it. When a collector arrives in a private cruiser from Earth looking for a stolen painting, Demarco has to decide if a few dimes are worth dealing with the worst of the worst in Nicodemia Station. It'll pit him against crime lords, government bureaucrats, and, even worse, the Catholic Church. If there's anything folks get too passionate about, it's art and religion. Majority Rule
Readers choose from a selection of options for participants of a survival game show known as "Can Anyone Beat Level 10?". Each level has some monsters to kill and a boss at the end. Treasure chests and traps are available. Treasure chests, if opened successfully, give decent weapons, first aid kits, etc. If unsuccessful, treasure chests will either explode, taking some health from player or do become permanently closed. Monsters in dungeon levels depend on the theme of the week. This game show occurs on the first week of every month. The game just showed up out of nowhere and many people were interested in it as they attended the live version of the show. As for its mysteries...well, who knows? Maybe someone will solve them some day. But, for now, let the games begin! This is a story that depends on the votes of the viewers using the poll system. I will probably wait a week or so per poll in order to accumulate enough votes. After the week is up, viewers can still vote but it won't affect the story. This is my first interactive fiction so it might not be on par with the better ones. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed reading this story. Thanks.
