Bella found out about Jacob being a wolf shifter along with the other pack members. It was total chaos at the Rez. Paul almost mauled her if it wasn't for Jacob shifting mid air. They brought her to Emily's place to ease her about ratting them out to the world.
Jacob was furious after discovering that Bella knew about the Cullens being vampires. None of the wolf shifters like the fact that Aquila and Charlie along with the newcomers are around the bloodsuckers. They think it's too dangerous. Then Bella saw it as an opportunity to badmouth Aquila.
"You don't have to worry about Aquila being around vampires. She's a freak, a witch. She's a monster and an evil being." Bella stated.
Only Jacob knew Aquila and they aren't close but he still hopes Aquila had a reasonable explanation. The others growled thinking that Aquila can be a danger. Jacob snapped after reading their thoughts through their pack link.
"Guys, Aquila is a nice person. We have to hear her side first." Jacob suggested.
"No Jake. You aren't going anywhere near that freak. She might put you under a spell too! She already brainwashed Charlie that she is good. And she enslaved Edward under her love spells. It was supposed to be me and Edward but she put a spell on him. Edward loves me but now he's stuck with her." Bella convinced them. Most of the pack members nod their heads.
"Then let her enslave that bloodsucker. All we have to do is save Charlie from her. A bloodsucking demon and an evil witch. They're a perfect match, don't you think?" Paul snidely remarked.
"No. We also have to free Edward from her spell." Bella argued.
"Vampires aren't our responsibilities. We aren't going to do anything against Aquila Black. It's the order of the elders." Sam Uley, the alpha, stated with finality. Nobody argued to go against the alpha's orders.
Bella didn't agree. But she wanted to use these shifters to get rid of Aquila. The only problem is she doesn't know how.
Jacob brought Bella home. But before he left, he approached Aquila who was dancing on the porch holding a baby.
"Hey Black."

"Fancy seeing you here Black."
"That sounds weird." Jacob said with his face scrunched up which made Aquila chuckle.
"Yes, yes it does."
Jacob cooed at the sleeping baby girl on Aquila's arms. "Who is she? What's her name?"
"Delphini Merope Riddle. But you can call her Delphi. She's my soon to be adopted daughter-slash-cousin." Aquila smiled down at the baby in her arms and kissed her chubby cheeks.
"You're going to adopt her? Aren't you too young? You're not old enough." Jacob asked confusedly.
"What's the basis of being too young and old enough? I mean eighteen is basically adulthood and I turned eighteen last April so why am I too young?" Aquila asked.
Jacob cleared his throat and decided to change the topic. "Uh...so we found out you're a witch--"
"Bella told you." Aquila answered without an ounce of hesitation. Of course Bella would tell a soul. She'll die of bitterness if she doesn't.
"You don't seem surprised." Jacob said as he saw no hesitation, fear or confusion on Aquila.
"Yes because one, Billy knew my mum was a witch. Billy is a wolf shifter and mum knew. You're Billy's son so naturally you can shift like him and there is a high possibility he'd tell you about the existence of witches. What I do not know is what triggers your shift."
"Bloodsuckers. Their arrival triggered our shift." Jacob's voice is filled with venom, hate and the thing Aquila hated the most... prejudice. And this made Aquila snap.
"Do not use that tone when you speak about the Cullens, Jacob Black. They never harmed anyone. They haven't come close to breaking the treaty. Stop that prejudice thoughts and treatment right now or you'll face my wrath. Do you know what prejudice can do? That pesky prejudice can cause a war. Do you know what happened in wars? Death. Death of the people you either love or hate, but death nonetheless. Because of fucking prejudice, I had to grow up too soon. Because of stupid prejudice, my family was torn apart. Because of that damn prejudice, I lost my parents and the people I love. So this is my advice for you, prejudice and self righteousness can drive a person from blooming in goodness to drowning in darkness. Do not make an enemy with people who have done nothing wrong to you no matter who or what they are." She spat which made Jacob flinched. He looked at her apologetically then walked away.

Aquila sighed as she held Delphi closer. She grieved. She moved on. But she hadn't let herself heal. She just came out of war for Godric's sake! She wants to fast forward and just be in the future where she's all healed. It was as if she was running after time. But running with barely healed wounds could open the said wound wider and Aquila had a lot of wounds...she's running faster too.
Thus she does what mortals do.
She bleeds.
There were these situations. Her fragile walls are breaking. She exploded. All the emotions bursting out of her because of one small trigger.
Poor Jacob. He must be very confused at Aquila's sudden outburst. But was she wrong? No. Vampires and wolf shifters had bad blood because of the shifter's prejudice generalization of all vampires. Just like Purebloods and non Pureblood magical folks. Same story, different context.
She can't explain how it affected her. But that attitude, it's just not easy for her to let that go. The belittling treatment all werewolves and house elves went through just because they aren't 'normal'. Now the shifters, the humans who literally change into wolves and go rabid like wolves once they slip up from their control belittle and treat the Cullens with disgust just because they're a different kind of 'monsters'. It's stupid, really.
Jacob reached three realization.
One, wolves have been acting hypocritically, they are dangerous too.
Sam almost killed Emily because he couldn't control himself. Who says they couldn't kill anyone in the vicinity once they lose control?
Two, he shouldn't believe Bella's words that easily about Aquila.
Why would she brainwash Charlie? What could she gain with a vampire as a boyfriend? None of the things Bella accuse her made sense.
Three, he admires Aquila Callisto Black.
She is a strong and independent woman. He doesn't know her story but he knew he had been through hardships, trials and sorrows. Yet here she is, happy, contented and kind. His respect for her skyrocketed.
But it wasn't only Jacob. The whole pack saw and heard everything through the mind link. They are cautious but their respect upon Aquila Black solidified.
Billy Black was hesitant. Sam informed him that a witch is involved with a vampire. He was correct when he guessed that the witch was Luna's daughter. Luna was a good person. It was Luna who told him about the Quileut legends when they were young, way before he found out he's a shifter. It was something she learned from a book in her school.
"Billy! Billy! Billy! I have a very awesome story for you!" A twelve year old Luna Rosier-Swan ran towards Billy Black who was the same age as her while they wait for Charlie who was still showering. Billy was the one visiting the Swans to spend time with his best friend and his pseudo big sister before Luna goes back to her mysterious boarding school in Scotland.
"What is it, Lulu?"
"So I read some books that led me to Quileut legends. You're part of the Quileut tribe in the Rez so I want to share this to you." Luna said as she jumped giddily. She's older than them but she's very childish and bubbly.
"So what's the story?"
"You're supposed to be descendant from wolves! How cool is that?" Then Luna explained to him the Quileut legends about the shifters who were protectors of their tribes. She did left the cold one part.
When Charlie descended from the steps, Luna shifted the topic and discreetly shove a small book towards him with a wink, a sign that he should keep what she told him as a secret.
When he read the small leather bounded book, he showed it to his grandfather and he gasped. That was the journal of the late chief Taha Aki. It had been a century since the last shifter died and the stories of their ancestors remained a lore to their people but with the journal, their history would be revived.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
