《"Always": Severus Snape x Reader》More Than Friends

I got up and put on my robes, my heart still beating fast, I felt at peace. I give him one last hug and felt his smile in the crook of my neck. As I pulled back I looked into his eyes they were no longer emotionless but were filled with happiness and love, I didn't realise our friendship meant this much to him. I walk out grinning from cheek to cheek, today was going to be a great day. I go to the great hall and sat down with Harry and Ron, Draco has been ignoring me recently, I don't know why. "We have potions next" Harry said, pulling me out of my thoughts. "I wonder what Snape is going to say after last class when you stormed out" I forgot not everyone knows whats gone on between us. "um I don't know, i'm sure it won't be a big deal" I reply, trying to act as neutral as possible. Harry laughed "No offence y/n but i highly doubt Snape thinks the same" "we'll see" I smile and we walk to potions.
As we get there I give Snape a wide smile sticking my tongue out and he chuckles a bit covering it with a cough when he sees Harry behind me. "He looks happy, god y/n how you're still alive I don't know" I give him a smile and take my stuff out. After a while of taking notes Snape comes over and asks if i'm struggling with anything."I'm ok, thanks" I look him in the eyes reassuring him. "If you say so Miss Black" he gave me a little nudge with his shoulder causing me to burst with laughter, this causes Snape to laugh and all of a sudden everyone looks our way. "And you have all stopped working why?" He said pulling himself back into the scary Snape I see too often. I've never seen him like this I looked at him smiling in approval.

"You made him laugh! like you actually made him laugh?" Ron said after Harry told him about potions. "It's not that hard to do, you guys just don't understand him" "And you do?" replied Ron "Maybe" I said with a wink and a grin. I look behind me to the staff table and see Snape looking my way, I give him a huge grin and he gives one back. He gives me a look and raises his eyebrows as if to say "behind you" I turn around to see Harry staring into my eyes, he looks away and blushes. I look at Ron back at Harry then raise an eyebrow at Ron. He looks at Harry then winks at me, I feel my cheeks go red and Ron giggles.
I knock at Snape's door wanting to ask him if he wanted to hang out for a while but I hear Dumbledore talking and stop to listen. "I see you made up with her Severus, how is it going?" "Very well, she makes me laugh and smile and she makes me feel safe" I lean against the door but my weight is too much and the door opens causing me to fall off my feet into the classroom. "Sorry hehe" I say trying to hold in my laughter, I stand up and give Dumbledore a smile. "So how much of that did you hear y/n" Severus said, a questioning look on his face. "Oh I don't know maybe just the whole thing" I say grinning to show him I return the feelings. "I'll leave you two alone" Dumbledore says, walking towards me. "You're special to him y/n" he says putting a hand on my shoulder as he walks out the door.
Snape puts his hands in mine "Follow me, I have something to show you" "You're lucky I trust you this much Severus" I say raising an eyebrow at him. He guides me down the halls, making sure no one sees us, to a door i've never seen. "Close your eyes" he says. I close them putting my full trust in him. I heard the large doors open with a creak and he took me farther forwards."Open them" He said a sound of hope in his voice. I open my eyes and see a room full of as many art supplies I can think of and in the middle of the room are two easels standing next to each other. "Oh my god I love it Severus" I say wrapping my arms around him. "I remember you talking about how much you love painting so I thought this could be a cool thing to do" It was a great thing to do to take my mind off of Draco, he had yelled at me earlier for not sitting with him but i'm sure it would all blow over soon. We painted and talked for what seemed like hours until Severus noticed my eyes drooping, he picked me up in his arms and carried me over to the sofa on the other side of the room. He lied me down, my head in his lap and played with my hair until I fell into a peaceful sleep.

The Mortal Acts
The Mortal Acts is an epic progression fantasy with a lower focus on training aspects and a great focus on discovering new ways of using powers intelligently. I've always been drawn to stories where characters use their powers creatively to overcome opponents and obstacles, and I think all the possibilities can provide a great playground for twists and turns. It's inspired by a variety of media, including Will Wight's Cradle, Hunter x Hunter, and Bioshock, so if you like the creative power use elements from those, come check it out. This is my first serial, and please feel free to leave comments and feedback. For backstory, behind-the-scenes, and other fun stuff, come chat on my discord! Desperate to find a cure, he travels to Severance Frontier, a desolate land haunted by hordes of ghosts, witches, and demons collectively called the Deathless. But a miraculous cure doesn’t magically fall into his hands. Things are worse in Severance Frontier than Riven had assumed. Ghosts are banding together into armies, demons are kidnapping anyone who strays out of settlements, and witches are enslaving everyone left and right. Riven, of course, gets embroiled in the mess. Missions to curb the Deathless activity are one thing, but when it starts to look like this is just the beginning of a war that extends beyond the mortal realm, Riven has a hard time focusing on why he came to Severance Frontier in the first place. His mother is inching towards death with every passing day, but if he doesn’t face down the Deathless, what little civilization the Frontier holds will be overrun and destroyed. Thankfully, it looked like the Deathless might just hold the secret of the elusive cure.
