~Unknown Point of View~

"All systems are ago... Affirmative, all is ready. Both entrances are stable, I took out the security... Yes, it took me weeks, the power on it was extreme... Yes.... I understand... Of course sir..." I pressed the off button and placed the communicator down gingerly. Smirking a devil's grin, I pushed up my glasses. My job was complete.

~Emma's Point of View~

"Emma!" a voice called out to me. I stopped walking and turned to find Blake hurrying towards me.

"Yes?" I asked him. I waited paitently for him to catch his breath.

"Damien needs you in our dorm," Blake said. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Why would Damien need me?

"Ok... Thanks Blake," I smiled and started towards Damien's dorm room. My mind kept churning over thoughts of what was going to happen.

I knocked on their door softly three times.

"Come in," said a voice. It wasn't Damien's. I peeped my head in and walked forwards slowly.

"Oh, hi Tristan," I greeted warmly. Looking around the room, I saw no one else in here. Tristan sat on his desk chair, polishing something. I looked closer. He was holding a needle. What was he doing?

Tristan stood and walked up to me until he was only inches away. I took a step back awkwardly.

"U-Um, Blake said that Damien needed me," I stuttered, trying not to look down. The corner of Tristan's mouth turned up slightly.

"He's not here at the moment," Tristan said in his low tone, stepping closer. I drew a breath in. His blue eyes sparkled intently as he stared into me.

"Then I should probably come back later..." I said softly, my heart picking up pace.

"No. I'm sorry Emma," he whispered.

"W-What?" I breathed. I gasped out in pain. Looking down, I saw the needle plunged into my shoulder. My vision instantly started to spin.

"Tristan," I whispered desperately. He just stared down at me. Darkness took over.

~Merick's Point of View~

Knocking on the door, I waited. And waited. Pushing it open slowly, I walked in.

"Emma?" I called out. All was silent. Where is she? She should be here by now... She had said she needed my help with her assignment for Creatures...

Jogging out the door, I flipped out my phone and dialed Trinity's number.

"Hello?" Trinity answered.

"Hey, do you know where Emma is?" I asked her. She thought for a moment.

"No, I've been looking for her and I can't find her," Trinity answered thoughtfully.

"Ok, well, tell me if you find her," I replied.

"Roger roger," Trinity said and hung up. Where can she be? My heart clenched. I had already lost Emma once. Was this happening to me again?

~Emma's Point of View~

I gasped as my head started to pound. I had the most horrible dream... Tristan... the needle... and...

Looking around me, I jumped. Where am I?

I was in a dim room with solid metal walls that had no windows. Laying on a thin brass bed, I looked around the room. It was small and had black ground. The room was empty except for a small opening that looked like it had a sliding door.

I moaned as I slid off the bed. Rushing to the small opening, I pushed with all my might to get it open. No use. Where am I?!

My nose started to tingle as my eyes began to water. What did Tristan do to me? How could he betray me? How am I going to get back? How long have I been here?

I slumped down to the ground, my body feeling drained. Please... someone help me.

~Merick's Point of View~

I stopped running as I heard voices. I was standing near the Headmaster's office.

"No. We can't let anyone know of this," said a voice. I creeped towards the door, as quiet as a thief.

"Panic will start if the students find out," said another voice.

"Aaron, what can we do?" said another. I recognized the voices now. They were all of teachers.

"She can't be left there. Who knows what evil things they will use her for? She may die."

My whole body froze over. They can't be talking about Emma....

"We can still get her. She was taken only three hours ago!"

"Hush! Do you want someone to hear you?!"

"She's in there base by now. Getting her back can cause a war."

"Is she really worth a whole war?"

"How dare you ask that?! She is one of our own! A level five none the less!"

"Enough!" The room went silent. It was the Headmaster speaking.

"There is nothing we can do."

No. He can't say that. No. Where is Emma?! Who took her?! I ran from the hallway.

If they won't find her, I will. And I'll tear whoever took her to pieces.

I whipped out my phone. I wasn't going alone.

~Trinity's Point of View~

I grimaced as I looked down. I was so high up. It was hard to see below me through the midnight air. Closing my eyes, I let go of the ledge of my dorms window. Falling into Riley's arms, he grinned at me.

Looking around, I gazed into everyone's faces. They all looked uneasy with worry, especially Merick. I sighed. I can't believe we are doing this. We have no idea where the place even is. And we will probably get expelled! My parents are going to kill me... Especially since they are elementalists too... Curse you genes.

We all stood in a circle and stared at Merick.

"Let's go," he said. We began walking to his car. My heart beat like crazy.

"Wait," called out a voice. I jumped. Who would be out here this late? Oh god, are we going to get in trouble? I turned and saw Damien running towards us. What the...

Merick glared at Damien. We all stood there in silence.

"I can help you. Let me join you," Damien stated.

"Why should I let you come with us?" Merick said dangerously. I looked at Riley for comfort. He nodded to me saying everything was going to be fine.

"Because getting into that base is not going to be easy. You're going to need the extra help and you know it," pleaded Damien. Merick sighed.

"Ok, Damien. But only because you are strong. But if you do ANYTHING to mess this up, ANYTHING to stop us from getting her back, you will really taste darkness," he said. Damien stared at him. He had a very small sense of fear in his eyes, but only I saw it.

"Ok," Damien whispered. We all started heading towards the car, the silence being awkward now.

"Where do you guys think you're going?" said a voice. We turned and saw Jenna. Oh my god, you have got to be kidding me...

"You Harren children enjoy interrupting rescue missions, don't you?" grumbled Riley impatiently. Damien shot him a look.

"What are you doing here, Jenna?" questioned Merick. He looked annoyed.

"The better question is what are YOU guys doing here? Do you guys even have any idea where you're going? Or who you are up against? No, you don't. But I do. Been there, done that," challenged Jenna intelligently. She was right.

"You can't be trusted, Jenna. We've all been there and have done that," River said, his words cutting through hers. I mentally highfived River.

"Look, do you want Emma back or not?" Jenna beamed. We all stared at her.

"Ok Jenna, but if..." started Merick.

"Oh save it," she interrupted and started walking pompously towards Merick's car. Everyone rolled their eyes. This was going to be a very long rescue mission...
