Athena doesn't know how her life managed to turn out like this. She was just walking on the empty road and trying to search for her destination when suddenly a SUV blocked her path.

The door opened revealing huge, scary and well built guards. They grabbed her arms and made her hostage. She tried to struggle but it was fruitless. Their grips around her arms wasn't rough as she expected it to be.

One of the guard who looked like a chief of them muttered something on his ear piece something like 'we got her'. She was almost gently pushed into the car. She was confused. Literally there were many questions in her mind but she was too scared to even say something. She wasn't used to talking to strangers. Especially scary strangers.

She was gently dragged out of the car and then found herself in a plane. She had never even seen a plane from this closeness. She had only seen it once high in the air. But holy freakish it was huge!

But despite it's massive size she didn't see many other people here. It was only her, these guards and the flight attendants. So here she is being shipped to some other country. Why is this she happening to her? What did she do? She doesn't know. But she knows that this isn't the destination she first believed to go.

She just start to remember her life and tries to think of any reasonable reason of everything. She was basically grown up with her foster parents who adopted her when she was just a 1 year old baby. They were the most loving people and they nurtured her with love and care. As she started to grow up, she started to see their horrible reality.

Her foster father was an alcoholic. He loved her but this love of his started to change into something disgusting. That made her uncomfortable. She started to avoid getting close to him as much as she could. But this only led to the punishments and she was starved for days. Her foster mother only cared that her house was clean and there wasn't a speck of small dust. That's why Athena turned out to be their little servant when she was just 10. She taught her basics from cooking to cleaning. She grew up taking care of their needs and their house and never even realized that she needed to take care of herself too.

They practically locked her in the house and never allowed her to get out. Sometimes her foster mother bothered to teach her some more interesting things like how to read. But it was very rare. She was basically illiterate.

As she turned 16, she overheard her foster parents conversation. They were conversing regarding how she could make them a lot of money. She later understood when she eavesdropped more that they were planning to sell her to someone to clear off their debts.

Athena had heard many news channels on the tv regarding the bad guys who sells human's organs illegally and she didn't wanted to end up limbless.

That's why she decided to run away. Athena was scared of the outside world as she had never been there. But there was more fear of those bad guys imprinted in her mind. She couldn't understand clear from what more things she had been scared of.

As she ran, she was chased by street scary dogs. This was too bad! She ended up getting run into the persons who called themselves police. But they were confusing her more by asking her weird questions. She managed to escape from them too. But she was again chased by them too. In the end, she ended up hitting into a car.

A scream left her lips as with a huge force her body flew up in air and then her head slammed down on the pavement. The next moment she found herself in the hospital bed. The doctors and cops were asking her weird questions but it was only increasing her headache.

In tears, she screamed at them and almost laughed when they flinched back in fear. Taking her chances, she ran outside and for few seconds they watched her like dummys before running after her. She blended in the busy streets and managed to escape them.

She went into hiding for next 3 days in an abandoned store but she was starving. Due to the accident she had grown even more weaker and her head was always hurting like hell.

Then she reached at the point where she was kidnapped. Athena is busy gulping down in fear as she stares at the sky. She can't actually believe that right now she is actually flying in the sky. Holy freakish! One of the attendant makes her way to her and asks her if she wants anything to drink. Athena shakes her head in fear and continues to look outside.

These people are continuously directing her by an unknown name. She wants to tell them that her name is Athena not Ariana. She doesn't even know who Ariana is. She doesn't even know who these people are. They are basically aliens for her.

She is told to put her seatbelt on as they are close to landing. She is escorted outside by the guards. Her balance stumbles at the end of stairs but someone catches her.

"Ariana De' Cortello! You are in so much trouble young lady!"
