Jiang said as he climbed down from his bed and began walking out of his bedchambers, Jiang didn't have to look back for him to know that Han Sheng was excited about this outing after all although the eastern palace treasury was a place built for the servants of the imperial palace, not every one of the court maids or eunuchs could visit there especially if they had no business with the place.

88- Eastern Palace Treasury

Jiang didn't really need to sell those pills to get spirit mana stones for his cultivation as he had earlier intended when making them since he had enough spirit mana stones to last him a lifetime all thanks to the emperor generosity with the boxes of spirit mana stones gifted to him, even without those boxes filled with spirit mana stones there were also very expensive gifts in some of the boxes that if Jiang was to sell one he did make a fortune out of it, however, since Jiang had already made those pills and doesn't need them for his own cultivation he might as well sell them to those who do need them, he did certainly get rid of the pills at the eastern palace treasury as planned.

After, walking towards a certain direction in the imperial palace that Fang Mu had initially taken Jiang to, he and Han Sheng could finally see the big building of the eastern palace treasury, a place that was kind of a refuge for the palace maids, eunuchs since it was extremely hard for anyone with high status to visit here when they could just go to the no difference pavilion, although there are still those palace maids and eunuchs who don't come here, not necessarily because they are forbidden but mostly because they don't wish to do business here.

Jiang has always thought of the imperial palace as a city of its own because it just wasn't like any normal living palace he had ever heard or read of, they were so many places in the imperial palace that Jiang haven't been to yet due to how large the place was there were even fashion houses that made the emperor's robes and those which made the servants robes for a small fee of course, Jiang had made plans to visit those places some time.

Han Sheng said in a complaining tone as he pointed to the long queue filled with neatly dressed court ladies and palace eunuchs, also he noticed that today seems to be a big day for eastern palace treasury because even some Tang Qin Shang average living people that didn't belong to the palace but were obviously permitted to enter the imperial palace on this day was also part of the queue.

Jiang indicated to a door where fewer people were going through it, it seems like they were very special guests.

There was a time that Jiang won't have thought of using his identity as the empress elect to get inside this place and would have preferred disguising himself but now he feels that there is no need to try and hide it and that as a matter of fact exposing his identity earlier to a few people managing the eastern palace treasury will earn him more benefits, moreover, just because he brought pills to be auctioned doesn't necessarily mean that he made them himself since that was the main reason he wanted to keep his identity under wraps when he comes to the eastern palace treasury, it was mostly because his body held too many secrets and if the emperor gets wind of him coming here to sell pills he might what to investigate the matter but now it doesn't matter anymore, Jiang strangely have begun to trust that the emperor will not hurt him.

Jiang has secrets that even he did not truly understand, until he knows more about these body secrets Jiang can't casually reveal them, having the heavenly defying space which had the heavenly cauldron was a huge secret that no one should know about, he has started trusting the emperor but frankly speaking if the emperor asked him about how he can make pills, Jiang doesn't believe he will be able to answer that question truthfully, nevertheless, something tells him that the emperor will never ask but instead wait for when Jiang is comfortable to tell him about everything.

Jiang handed Han Sheng his empress elect identity plate and left him with an instruction

Jiang stood silently to the side as he waited for Han Sheng to deal with the assignment he had been given, then return and Han Sheng did not disappoint, soon he was coming over together with the attendant he went to talk to about their situation.

the eastern palace treasury attendant whispered as he had figured the empress elect would prefer him not calling her out loud, he had wanted to bow but Jiang stopped him since he didn't want to draw too much attention to himself although his silver hair was a dead give away to who he was and some people that were wise enough were able to put one and two together after seeing it and they had even begun to stylishly stare and whisper amongst themselves.

the attendant said respectfully while smiling all the way, he was very excited but trying hard to contain it, however, his blabbering non stop gave him away.

Jiang's empress elect identity plate was handed over to him by Han Sheng as they were lead through the special guest door as the attendant had called it while he lead the way, this identity plate although looked quite common could only be used and owned in this whole palace by Jiang since he was currently the empress elect, if Jiang was to lose the title of empress elect then the identity plate will be taken away from him and customized yet again for the next empress elect.

When Jiang was given the identity plate, at that time he didn't know what to make of it, he didn't think he needed something like that because he felt like it was just a huge burden and not even useful but now he truly understand it's uses, maybe if he had used this move at the time he had just come into the palace and was still hated by the emperor as well as the rest of Tang Qin Shang that didn't acknowledge him as their empress elect since he was weak, this empress elect identity plate when used won't have given such outstanding result as now where he was been lead to a small luxurious auction private room in the auction hall.

The hall was big, there was a stage and then seats were placed in steps formation some distance away from the stage, this was where the general audience was expected to seat and Jiang could see that people were already seated while more people where pouring into the hall and taking their seats, Jiang's private room was at the top most place, some distance above the general audience area, it was like the private room was hanging in the air, this was where the private rooms could be seen overlooking the audience underneath through a one way glass, Jiang could see the audience but they could not see him or anyone in his private auction room.

Everything in this small room sparkled in Jiang's eyes, the designs in the room weren't over the top but they were elegant, neat, beautiful and expensive for the standards of the eastern palace treasury.

Jiang sat on the semi circular very soft cushion in the small room facing the glass that overlooked the audience below, he then looked curiously at the fruits that were placed on a rectangular table before him, there were also assorted juice and wine that Jiang had never seen before.

The attendant explained and Jiang nodded in approval, Han Sheng was still standing so Jiang looked at him and said one word " Seat" Han Sheng did as told.

Jiang asked seriously but his attention appeared to be on the strange item that he had just picked up from the box which it had been secured carefully inside before been placed on the table, they also seem to be two of these objects in a box.

The item had a smaller glass just like the one glass separating Jiang from the audience but it had it's difference, in the item's case, they were two glassed placed side by side, also the glasses were small and circular and protected by plastic, Jiang kept looking at the item with so much curiously until he heard "That is called a binocular, may I?" the attendant extended his hands to the binocular to indicate that he wanted to show Jiang how it worked and Jiang wasn't shy to learn since he knew nothing about this object and it was obvious that neither did Han Sheng.

The attendant then went over to an area in the glass separating Jiang from the curious gaze of the audience who wondered who occupied the private rooms above, Jiang room wasn't the only private room but it was the most outstanding.

Anyway at the attendant walked over to that glass Jiang noticed that on that wide glass there were two cleanly cut circular holes at the middle of the glass but you could only see them when they glass covering the hole is shifted away as the attendant had done to it, the attendant then somehow fastened the binoculars into those two holes and made it stay there, then he pressed a button on the ground which made a small stool to rise from underneath which the attendant sat on "once you hold it to your eyes it will assist you in seeing the stage ahead more clearly or the audience, if you like" the attendant said, he demonstrated what he meant before standing up from the stool and walking over to Jiang again.

both Jiang and Han Sheng were intrigued by all that the attendant had just done as a result Jiang's ass was itching him to go and try it out but before his buttocks were halfway from the cushion he was distracted by the attendant following words and had to sit back down.

Jiang was surprised, even Han Sheng, he didn't expect to hear this, this was big news and must have been spread to all of Tang Qin Shang for the auction house to be able to find the right middle-class people to attend because even among their ranks they are those with deeper pockets, also the court ladies and eunuchs in the palace should certainly know of this even if they won't be attending, this was their territory after all, this made Jiang turn to face Han Sheng

Han Sheng looked very embarrassed as he was asked this and that was enough for Jiang to presume that his personal senior eunuch who should be aware of such important information amongst his ranks knew nothing about this event.

the attendant pleaded, his words sounded very genuine so Jiang let this whole situation slide, not that he was going to hold it against them anyway.

However, on hearing the earlier part of the attendant's statement and apart from Han Sheng been negligent in his information gathering ability there was a tiny area in Jiang's heart that thought this might have to happen because he has been looked down on, not that this will matter on a regular basis but Jiang couldn't help feeling slighted when he thought about this since he believed he was been seen as someone undeserving to be the emperor's future partner, this was what Jiang hated the most and this realization about how much he wanted to stand on equal footing with the emperor and even stand by his side forever shocked Jiang to no end.
