I'm Aoife, the author. You might have seen me popping in and out of the comments, if you've already read this book.

It has been brought to my attention by a few people today that my book, The Unfortunates, has been plagiarised and literally taken and put onto 'WalkNovel'. They are profiting off my work, and I have not agreed in any way to have my work uploaded on that platform. The only place that I write, apart from Google Docs, is Wattpad. If you see my work anywhere else, please let me know, because I feel like I'm losing my mind! (It's not even that good, I haven't edited it yet and am at a loss as to why they'd want it!)

I've sent them an email and they've ignored me up to now, so I dunno, this is just to warn you guys. Don't pay for it, it's literally all here for free lol.

Again, they do not have permission to use it. This book is my property, I wrote the whole thing. I even created the cover (I'm sure that's very, very obvious). The only thing they changed was the cover. I attached a picture of it, hopefully it'll work. I can attach a gorgeous picture of the email I sent them, too, if you'd all like!

P.S., if any of you WalkNovel cockroaches are reading this, message me and take my book down, dickheads. I don't care which order you do it in. Wankers. I'll even remove all mention of you from here if you just do it.

P.P.S., any of you guys know how to make them take it down? I have zero hope!

Another update, five minutes after I uploaded this: my email has now bounced back. I hate them.
