《How To Train Your Giant (DNF)》Ch 21 - AHA!

George was called by Sapnap as the Slayer was waiting for him. "I have been searching, and I think I have an idea what you've been doing."
The prince just scoffed and tried to walk past him, but Sapnap got down and did a swift kick as George fell on his back
"What was that for?!" George grunted as Sapnap answered, "I have a feeling, Your Highness, in which is illegal!"
George just looked away as Sapnap used his sword and pointed at the prince. It was barely touching his neck as George just exhaled
: You found out?
: Of course! Though, I had to play the scene a bunch of times to see if I'm correct
: Let me hear it
: You shoot the giant with our weapon, correct?
: Yeah?
: But as you go to slay it, only little blood is shown
: Ok?
: I'm saying you never slayed it
: But I did! You saw my sword covered in blood!
: And Techno made sure it was real. In the end it was, and you threw up, but I realized you only used the blood it left, not killed it
: So you think I never killed it?
: You freed it. The ropes look as if they've been cut clean, not bitten or forcefully pulled
: *mumbles* Oh god
: Where's the giant?
: I freed it
: Why?
: Because it's wrong!
: Did you befriend it?!
: I did!
: Once Techno hears this, he'll talk to your father and banish you for good!
: No! Please! Listen, he's not what you think!
: The fact you say "he" instead of "it" sickens me!
: Please! He's the only thing keeping me alive and happy!
: Alive?
George rushed past Sapnap as the Slayer chased him. Both rushed into the forest as George looked around until he found the trench
He may have not found the sanctuary, but still. George slid as Sapnap followed behind. Both climbed the dip as George found the bushes hiding his secret hangout

Sapnap tackled the prince as George felt a blade on his neck. "You're coming back, and reveal the news!" Sapnap said as George widened his eyes
Behind them, a wild giant nearly grabbed them as George pushed Sapnap away. Both separated as Sapnap threw his ax and slashed its eye
It roared and went back a few steps as blood poured out from the cut. Sapnap noticed George was climbing a mountain as the giant tried reaching for him
"George!" Sapnap called as he tried to gain the giant's attention, but it was no use. It finally grabbed the prince as George tried to squirm free
The giant opened its mouth as George screamed. Sapnap noticed a shadow running towards them as it roared
It was louder than any giant. The giant looked around as George noticed a familiar giant growling and jumping towards them
"DREAM!" George called as Sapnap noticed the giant tackle the wild one. Both growled as Dream held the wild one's arms and pulled him down
The giant whimpered as Dream pounced and bit straight into the neck. It whimpered as blood oozed from the neck and Dream's canine fangs
He roared as he stood in front of George, making the giant run away as Dream looked down. The prince laughed as Dream placed his head on the ground, letting George hug him
"He...just...saved you?!" Sapnap was surprised as Dream looked at the Slayer and growled. "No! No! No! Dream, meet Sapnap! A friend of mine!" George said as the giant stayed behind the prince, growling
Sapnap placed his weapon down as the giant lowered his growl. The human got closer as George grabbed his wrist, "Go on! He won't harm you as long as I'm here."
Sapnap nervously extended his arm as Dream sniffed it and led out a low mumble. His eyes softened as he moved his head forward

Sapnap sighed and laughed, "He's so soft!" George just nodded, "He is, isn't he?"
: Hey, Dream! Thank you, for saving the prince's life
: He always does, and I saved his
: I...I don't understand! I thought giants were meant to be -
: Monsters? Killers? They're all like us, even the wild ones
: I'm...I'm sorry, George
: It's ok, and maybe, can you keep this secret?
: Anything for the prince, and a friend
George hugged Sapnap as he hugged back. He felt a soft push as he looked to see Dream nuzzling behind Sapnap's back
Both smiled as George took Sapnap into the secret sanctuary. He explained how he was able to use the same tactics he used with Dream during his practice in the arena
The young Slayer laughed as George mentioned some funny moments they had. He mentioned being the prophesied, having The Touch, and training Dream
: You've done so much! No wonder you passed!
: And at the day of the test, I can't bare to kill it
: You know, if King Wilbur sees your actions, he's going to -
: Kill me. I know (not literally)
: Are you still going to show him?
: Everyone needs to know they're all harmless
: Have you been hanging out with Phil?
: I do. I think one of the giants has a slight crush on you
Sapnap felt his cheeks warm up as George noticed a hint of pink. "You like someone?" George teased as the Slayer punched his arm playfully
The duo walked back to New L'Manberg as Sapnap nodded, "It's nice knowing him, and good luck on your "practice", George."
He winked at the word as the prince waved goodbye. He entered the castle and jumped from fear as he noticed Techno and Wilbur were right there
They turned to see George, both were smiling. "Hi dad, Techno," George said nervously as Wilbur exclaimed excitedly, "Guess what? You're having your test on Friday!"
