《TROUBLE [twd]》heist

"I'm heading out. I'll be back before dark so Merle will probably be here first. If he is.." Daryl sighs, "Just tell him that you two got your stuff ready and to wait for me."
Daryl straps his bow around his back, picking up extra rope as the twins nod in compliance.
"Don't get into tro-" Daryl hesitates, "Stay safe."
Sakiko narrows her eyes at his almost slip up but nods once more, "We'll be ready when you're back."
"All right. Make sure ain't no one know. Last thing we need is that," Daryl pats Nanami's head as he walks by.
"Stay safe, too. Catch a lot of food," Nanami waves.
Daryl clicks his tongue, making a light hearted salute with two fingers as he delves into the woods.
"You got your stuff ready?" Nanami asks.
"Mhm," Sakiko nods.
"I've got to put my sleeping bag away," Nanami regards his last piece of packing, "Then, I'll be ready, too."
"Merle left out early this morning.." Sakiko glances up to the cloudy sky, "Maybe they're running late. Or trying to wait the rain out."
"Maybe," Nanami tilts his head back and forth.
"You go ahead and finish packing. I'll go wait at the RV to see if they radio in. Gives me something to do," Sakiko decides.
Agreeing, Nanami begins off to the tent. Sakiko makes sure he's inside before walking out of the camp area. Once she gets to the tree line, she takes a deep breath to sort herself out.
Taking a bottle of water, she pours some onto her hand before patting at her face and neck before discarding the bottle. She shakes her limbs before faking a limp as she emerges into the main area of camp, one arm clutching her stomach as she puts a grimace on her face.
She walks around for a few seconds until Amy takes notice of her and rushes over, "Hey, are you all right?"
Sakiko whimpers, shaking her head, "I don't feel good.. My stomach, my head.. Everything is just really hurting."
Amy frowns, looking around before waving the younger girl closer and wrapping her arm around Sakiko's shoulders. Amy leads her to the RV, not noticing Sakiko's eyes scanning the area.
"Where's Shane?" she asks, straining her voice to sound as though she was in pain.

"He's.. I'm not quite sure," Amy hums, "Pretty sure he just went out on patrol through the woods."
Sakiko internally relaxes just as they reach the RV. Amy puts her hand to her head, shielding her eyes from the sun as she looks to Dale who stood on top of the vehicle.
"Hey, Dale!" Amy calls.
Within seconds, Dale is leaning over the RV, "Need something?"
"Sakiko's not feeling too good," Amy motions, "I think the heat is getting to her is all. Would it be okay if she lays down in the RV for awhile to cool off?"
"Of course! Please, honey, go on inside," Dale hurries, "Get you some water while you're in there. Feel better, all right?"
Amy opens up the door, helping a 'weak' Sakiko up the steps. As the door closes behind them, Amy leads her to the back where the bed was.
"Go on and lay down," Amy urges.
Feeble, Sakiko crawls onto the bed, letting out sounds of pain as she lays down. When Amy sits down, Sakiko feels a surge of frustration. But, she knows better by now, so she doesn't let it show.
After about ten minutes of Sakiko resting with her eyes closed and faking a couple coughs, she glances to Amy.
"Do you think the others will be back soon?" she asks with a weak voice.
At the mention of the group that was late, a flash of concern washes over Amy's eyes.
"Yeah," Amy forces a smile, "Yeah, they.. they'll be back any second now."
"I just hope nothing bad happened," Sakiko mutters with a frown.
Amy is quiet for a couple seconds before sucking in a breath, "Well, how about this.."
Sakiko perks up just the slightest, looking to Amy with saddened eyes.
"I'll go outside and wait and see if they radio in. I'll be just outside so if you need anything, just tap on the window," Amy motions to the window, "How's that sound?"
Sakiko gives a tiny smile, nodding her head once. Amy stressfully breathes out, the thoughts of something bad happening to her sister in that overrun city now the only thing she could focus on.
"All right," Amy stands, "Just let me know if you need anything."
"I will," Sakiko assures quietly.

Amy hurriedly makes her way out of the RV. Sakiko waits, hearing the faint sound of Amy asking Dale if the others had contacted him and him saying they hadn't. She waits a couple seconds before sitting upright, peering out of the window from behind the blanket that was hooked around it. Keeping low, she soon spots Amy standing outside and biting her nails. Sakiko waits a bit longer until she sees Amy begin to pace back and forth. Sakiko's eyes scan the rest of the camp from the small view she had, still not seeing Shane anywhere around either.
She pushes the blanket back, standing up as quietly as she could. Dale was still on top of the RV. He was probably preoccupied with manning the radio or keeping watch for the others, but it was still a risk Sakiko had to be careful of.
She tip toes through the RV, opening cabinets and drawers in search of the guns Daryl had told her about. When it seemed to be a losing battle, she remembers that the seats were moveable as a storm had went through a couple weeks ago and the kids slept in the RV for their safety.
Kneeling to the floor, she eases the seat up, cringing when it creaks quietly. Once it's open, she breathes out in relief at the sight of the guns and ammo boxes stored away.
Reaching to one of the ammo boxes, she opens it up, wrinkling her nose at the strong, metallic smell that they let off. She packs each of the four pockets of her jeans before shoving some more into the inner pocket of the jacket- making sure that the Daryl-Nanami birthday jacket was big enough to cover her.
Sakiko pauses as she knows what was next. She knew Daryl and Merle had guns that they refused to hand over to Shane. But, since they were the hunters of the group, Shane didn't put up any argument and assured it was fine they kept them.
So, if Daryl and Merle had guns.. When Daryl said 'some guns'..
Sakiko sighs at the realization that he meant two guns for the twins to have.
Carefully, she reaches to the storage and pulls out one of the small handguns. She knew it more than likely wasn't loaded, but she'd never held one before, the coolness of the handle made goosebumps rise on her skin.
She shakes her head to snap herself out of her daze- this was a mission like the others and needed to be treated as such.
Pushing back the jacket, she places the first gun in the waistband of her jeans before doing the same with a second. She pulls her shirt over them before doing the same with the jacket- the double layer hiding the weapons with ease.
She closes the storage compartment back up, making sure it was exactly as she'd found it before moving back to the bed. There, she sits down on the edge of the bed as she feared laying down on the guns would hurt her back.
--
It was about an hour later when Shane and Lori both returned to the main part of camp and Sakiko knew she had to get out quick and Merle and Daryl needed to get back even quicker. But, her nerves calmed as Shane and Carl soon find themselves preoccupied with making knots in a rope by the seating area.
She had no way to tell the time and know when her 'sickness' could wear off and not look suspicious, but she was quickly getting bored of the RV's scenery. A small rain fall had come and passed and she decided to count to one-hundred and leave.
By seventy-nine, a loud siren was heard outside. Peeking out the window once more, she sees everyone in camp also looking for the source.
A distraction was also the perfect getaway if anything.
Hopping off the bed, she tunes out the sounds of everyone asking what the noise is as she makes her way out of the RV. Amy, Shane, Lori, Jim.. No one even notices her slip past them all and back near the trees.
Just before going in, Nanami is running out, "What's that sound?"
"Don't know," Sakiko shrugs, glancing in the direction of the source.
Before long, there's a red sports car driving into the camp and Glenn popping out of the driver's seat.
"Oh, look, your dream boy is back," Nanami teases.
Sakiko has too much of a burden hidden away to defend herself.
"Guess Merle's back, then," she sighs, "We should make sure we're ready."
"Yeah, plus that siren is giving me a headache," Nanami agrees.
As the group piles around Glenn, yelling out questions and demands, the twins duck into the woods and to their tent.
