"Kids! Summer and sadie are here!" I shouted. I opened the door and sadie stood there. She had a friend with her. "Hi Sadie. Who's this?" I asked. "This is my best friends brother. Ryder." She smiled. "I thought Parker was your best friend." I teased. "He is, but I'm talking girl wise." She said. "Oh thanks Sadie. Thanks." Anna teased as she walked over. "You know what I mean." She pouted. "Do I?" Anna smirked. "Anna stop." I chuckled. Sadie hugged Anna and I let them all in. Summer had bags in her car. "Are you moving?" I asked her. "Yea. About 2 minutes from here." She said. "Sadie!" I heard Parker shout. He ran down the steps and she ran over to him. She jumped on his back and he ran all over the house. Kelsie came down, in some shorts and a tank top. She had her hand over her mouth as she yawned. She came over and sat on the couch next to anna. "I don't know if I've told you this, but I love your brother." Kelsie said tiredly to anna. "You've told me. A million times." Anna laughed. "And he loves you back Kelsie. He's 100% head over heels in love with you." I said. She blushed and smiled at me. Parker made his last stop in front of me and sadie looked like she just got off a roller coaster. She hopped down and stumbled to the couch. "Oh my god, that never gets old." She giggled. Parker sat down next to kelsie and she cuddled into his side. "Where's Chandler?" Summer asked. "He said his mom called him earlier. Had an important family meeting. Just them though. So we stayed here." I said. They nodded and I looked up towards the steps. Kevin was standing there, a look of panic on his face. My smiled dropped and I ran up to him. "What's wrong?" I asked. "She won't wake up. She keeps screaming my name, for you and her dad. For parker. Anna. I tried to wake her up but she scratched me, kicked me then screamed for me to help her." He said, holding his bleeding arm. "Go let summer look at that. I'll get her." I said. "Mom help!" I heard her. "Jessi?!" I heard Parker shout. Then I heard his footsteps behind me. I quickly went into her room and saw her kicking and moving around in her sleep. "Parker! Daddy! Mama! Help me!" She screamed. Me and parker ran over and got in her bed. "Jessi baby wake up. Its only a dream. Just wake up baby girl." I said, slightly shaking her shoulder. "Parker!" She screamed. "Jessi wake up. I'm right here. Just open your eyes." Parker said. I put my arm under her and lifted her up slightly. "Mama?" She asked, calmly. "You saved me." She whispered, then started snoring. I sighed and looked at Parker. He just kept staring at Jessi. A protective look in his eyes. Her eyes fluttered slightly then opened. She looked at us confused. "What's wrong?" She asked. "You kept screaming for us to help you. Kevin tried to wake you up, but you scratched him, kicked him then screamed for him to help you. His arm is bleeding bad." I said. "Oh my god, baby I'm sorry!" She yelled. "Its okay!" He yelled from downstairs. "What happened?" Parker asked. "That guy from the mall 7 years ago. He found me again and took me." She said. "That's never gonna happen. We won't let it." Parker said. She leaned into him. "Your the best big brother." She said softly. He smiled. "Your my baby sister. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." He said. She nodded and we all got up. We went downstairs and saw chandler sitting on the ground, a distant look on his face. Jessi walked over to kevin and kissed him. Parker walked over to kelsie and sat next to her. I walked over to Chandler and got down next to him. His eyes flicked to me, but he wasn't actually staring at me. His eyes were distant. Last time I saw that look, was when nanny died. "Chandler?" I asked softly. I gently grabbed his hand, but he pulled back. I felt a sting in my heart. I sighed as I felt tears fill my eyes. I got up and went upstairs. I went into our room and grabbed my phone. I went through the contacts until I found Gina, chandlers mom. I hit call and put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" His dad answered, sounding like he was crying. "What happened? Chandler is like, distant." I said. "Gray died ashley. They were best friends. And the last thing Chandler said to gray, was fuck you. When they were both 20." He said. Gray was like another son to them, a brother to Chandler. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry." I said. "Its okay. Just try to get through to him. Don't let him be distant." He said. "I'll try." I said. "Thank you ashley. We love you." He said. "I love you guys too. Stay strong." I said then hung up. I got up and walked back downstairs. Chandler was still sitting in the same spot, but anna was crying, trying to talk to him. "Daddy please answer me." She cried. He just sat there, staring at her. I walked over and pulled him up. I dragged him into the kitchen and turned to look at him. "I'm sorry about gray. But you don't need to ignore your family. You know how sensitive anna is. You know how close you two are. She's trying to reach out to you. But she doesn't know what's wrong. Please stop being distant. Its just going to hurt everyone." I said softly to him, tears swarming my vision. He was just staring at me. I gently put my hand on his cheek and his tears finally fell. I pulled him into a hug and he cried on my shoulder. I ran my fingers through his hair as he cried quietly. I looked into the living room and saw everyone staring at us. I looked at summer and motioned her to take everyone upstairs. She nodded and got everyone upstairs. I brought Chandler over to the couch and we sat down. He continued to cry as I held him. "He was my best friend. And the last thing I said to him was fuck you. Cause he was still trying to steal you from me. After three years. After our wedding. After the twins. He still wanted to take you from me." He cried. "I wouldn't have left you. Not for him, or anyone. I'm all yours Chandler. Til death do us part." I said. He looked at me and nodded. "I just wish I could say I was sorry." He cried. "I know baby. You'll see him again one day. You can tell him then." I said softly. "I'm sorry for ignoring you. Its just hard news to take in." He said, wiping his eyes. "Its okay. Remember that day on set? When nanny got murdered? I pushed you away from me. When I found out amber died, I wouldn't even look at you for three days. Its hard to lose someone so close to you. I understand what your going through. When I was 8, there was this girl named Caysi. We had known each other since diapers. We were best friends. She was like another sister to me. It was her 9th birthday. We were at the park. She fell out of a tree and broke her neck. All that I can remember after she fell, was her mother screaming and an paramedic telling us she died instantly. I was devastated. That was when my depression got really bad. That was the first time I ever cut myself. A few months later was the first time I ever tried to commit suicide because I wanted to be with her again. I wanted to see her smiling face, telling me to come over and spend the night with her every Friday after school. To hear her laugh just one more time. Just for a minute. Just so I could say goodbye. I saw her every night for 6 months. She stayed in my closet. But it wasn't comforting. Her neck was twisted to an angle that looked very painful. She kept repeating one thing, over and over. Why did you let me fall? I cried every night. Until she left." I said. He was just staring at me. "I still feel like she blames me. I just want to tell her I'm sorry. I tried to catch her when she fell, but I would've fallen and died too. I wouldn't get out of the tree until I saw my dad. And I stayed in that tree for 5 hours, while they tried to find out my dads number because caysi's mom was too hysterical to do anything but cry for her daughter that she lost." I said. "I'm so sorry." He whispered. "Its okay. That was 26 years ago." I said. "Just don't let it get you to the point I was at. I don't wanna lose you. The kids don't wanna lose you. Summer, mom, dad, gina, William. Gray wouldn't want you to do that either. Just talk to us. Don't be distant." I said. "We are all here for you." I whispered as a tear fell. He quickly wiped it and kissed me softly. I kissed him back, tasting his salty tears on his lips. When we pulled back, I looked towards the stairs to see everyone crying. They saw me looking and quickly ran down to us. They pulled us up and we all group hugged. "We don't wanna lose you guys. Our life wouldn't be complete without you. We wouldn't be here without you guys. Don't leave us." Jessi cried. "We aren't going anywhere baby girl. I promise." Chandler said softly, kissing her head.

The Blood Order
"Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?" I mumble hoping that he heard me anyways, I wasn't ready to walk into that bedroom, and I don't think I ever would be. "Of course, I'll be getting ready for bed, come in whenever you are ready." He says confidently and walks away leaving my waist cold something for which I am grateful. Especially when my mind burns with other more dangerous thoughts. The warmth that forever lingers in the air, never burning the skin, but always reminding about what is around us. I force air into my lungs feeling the unexpected warmth fill me. He stands in the room watching me even though he said he was getting ready for bed. He is worried about me, about me jumping. I have contemplated it I will admit, but he would stop me before I fell even two feet. I was stuck, and no one could save me. Not even myself, my fucking weak self. His presence is demanding no matter where we are, but right now I could sense everything about him, and I try to suppress the unwanted feelings that curl right under my skin."Firefly? About done?" He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall. True freedom. I take a step back and wrap my hands together turning around to a fully clothed unchanged man and nod once. I could see the fear in his eyes that I would, he knows if he gave me the chance...I wasn't ready for this, but I had to survive. No matter what.Highest Ranks: #17 In Romance #5 in Soulmates
