《{WICKED GAMES} Mitsuya x Fem!Reader》fifteen

After arriving at the Shiba residence, you wait with a quiet Mitsuya standing slightly behind you. The two of you wait in silence for a minute or two until you come to the conclusion that it might be time to go.
"I guess she's not home."
"Thank God," Mitsuya sighs nervously.
But unlucky for him, the doorknob suddenly turns gently and Yuzuha's face appears on the other side.
"Woah! Big surprise to see you two," she smiles. "It's been awhile! Huh, since the Toman meeting..."
"Yep," you reply to get her suspicion of the timing out of her mind. "I've been super busy with Treasurer stuff and Mitsuya's got his design business to fill the gap of time since Luna and Mana aren't around."
"Oh, I see," she smiles over at Mitsuya. "Well, come in you guys!"
Yuzuha sits the two of you down in her main room before running off to grab the pot of tea she was making when she heard you knock.
"See, this isn't too bad," you smile at your partner.
Mitsuya crosses his legs and places his head on his head, pouting. "Yeah, I guess," he begrudgingly agrees.
"Come on, cheer up," you hum as you nudge him gently in the arm. "Girls don't like pouty guys."
"I hate you," he grumbles.
But despite his comment, when Yuzuha walks back into the room, Mitsuya sits up properly.
"So, Yuzuha," you smile as you turn your attention to the woman handing you a hot teacup, "how's the wedding planning going so far?"
"Great!" she beams as she fills up another cup for Mitsuya. "I'm so excited, Y/N! I can't believe I'm actually getting married!"
Mitsuya nods and thanks Yuzuha as she passes him the cup with a polite smile.
"When do you plan on having the wedding? Like the end of this year... or next year? Maybe longer..."
"Hm? Oh no, not at all. Probably within the next month or two."
Mitsuya chokes on the hot tea, stealing all of the attention of your orange-haired friend who looks a bit confused by the male's reaction.

"Yuzuha!" you call as you try to turn her eyes and ears back to you. "Don't you, uh, think that's a little too soon?"
"Yeah," Mitsuya coughs. "That's not enough time to get everything done. You're going to be so rushed."
"You're right," she shrugs. "It'll be a bit rushed but it's so worth it! If we get things over with now it'll be less stress for later, you know?"
You and Mitsuya exchange a skeptical and worried glance.
"Oh!" she gasps. "Since you guys are here would you mind looking at a few dress designs I picked out?"
You agree with the secret agenda of getting to snoop around her room, and stand up with a big smile on your face. "C'mon, Mitsuya," you hum. "You know all about dress designs. You should be able to give Yuzuha some good advice, right?"
"Guess so," he half-pouts as he stands up beside you.
"Ah, great! Thanks, Takashi!" Yuzuha beams as she begins to lead the pair of you upstairs.
When you get to Yuzuha's room, she grabs Mitsuya by the arm and yanks him over to her desk where she's got a whole pile of printouts of dresses she's tried on or things she's seen in stores. You can't help but notice the way he so willingly follows after her, despite how much he doesn't want to be there. He must really be head-over-heels, down even worse than you are for Draken.
But that's not all that bothers you. You can't quite put your finger on it but it rubs you the wrong way to see the pair of him going over wedding dresses together.
"These are fine," Mitsuya comments as he picks up a few of the pictures. "I could totally make something much better than all these. Not that you don't look good, but they don't suit you as much as something else could..."
"I know," she sighs. "I'm not in love with any of them either. And I wanted to ask you for help sooner but like Y/N said before, you've been so busy lately..."

"If Chikao really makes you happy then I'd drop anything to help you out."
Down. Tremendous, you think to yourself as your eyebrow twitches.
As Yuzuha wraps her arms around Mitsuya in a tight embrace, you begin your real assignment: snooping. You walk over towards her bed where you find a long, white jacket tossed over the side of her bed. You lift it up and spin it around, finding the word OTSUDA written down the back in gold lettering.
Otsuda? The hell is that?
"Right, Y/N?!" Yuzuha's voice randomly calls out to you. You toss the jacket back down on the bed as quickly as you can and nod your head in agreement.
"Mhm, sounds great," you smile fakely. Luckily, Yuzuha doesn't notice but instead smiles brightly and leads the two of you back downstairs.
"Thanks again, Takashi, for agreeing to help me with my dress," she smiles as she leads you to the front door. "And thank both of you for coming to visit me. It was a really nice surprise."
"It was no problem," you assure her. "We were both happy to come see you."
"Yeah," Mitsuya replies flatly.
After saying your goodbyes, you and Mitsuya walk over to your motorcycle where you parked it by the side of the road.
"What were you doing snooping around her room like that," Mitsuya asks as he shakes his head in disappointment.
"Oh, don't be jealous," you tease.
"I'm being serious."
"Well, I saw an Otsuda gang jacket," you say seriously as you stop in front of your bike and turn to face him directly. "What group is that?"
"Otsuda?" he repeats. "I've got no clue. I've never heard of them before."
"Unless Yuzuha's gone and joined a rival gang I'd say it's safe to assume the jacket belongs to Chikao... And therefore, Hanma and Kisaki are associated with this rival gang somehow."
"Okay, and how do you expect to get them to admit that to you?" Mitsuya asks as he hands you your helmet.
"I'll go back to that club," you reply as you place the helmet in your hands.
"No way," he shakes his head. "I'm not letting you go that."
"Do what?" another voice asks as a bike pulls up just behind yours. "What're you guys doing here?"
"Hakkai, do you know about the Otsuda gang?" you ask.
He thinks for a moment before shaking his head no and looking over to Mitsuya for clarification about the conversation he's partially missed.
"We found a rival gang jacket in your sister's room and we think Hanma and Kisaki are linked to it. Y/N thinks it'd be a great idea to run up to Kisaki and ask him about it," he explains.
"I don't think that'd be a half-bad plan if you could do it without raising suspicion," Hakkai shrugs as he looks at Mitsuya. "But you and I can't really go back there since the two of them are just looking for a reason to get rid of us... You'd have to do it by yourself, Y/N."
"It's the only plan we've got," you add.
Mitsuya nods but doesn't verbalize his opinion.
"You want a ride home?" Hakkai then asks the man who he regards as an older brother even though he's a grown adult.
"Is that alright with you, Y/N?" Mitsuya asks. "I don't want to have to burden you anymore."
"That's fine," you smile politely. "We can talk more about this tomorrow somewhere not in public."
"Come over tomorrow evening," Mitsuya tells you. "We can talk about it then."
After the two of you agree, Mitsuya hops on Hakkai's bike and drives off. You then swing your leg over your own vehicle and sit your helmet on your head. But just as you're about to take off, the Shiba's front door opens up once again.
"Oh, Y/N, you're still here. I thought I heard Hakkai out here..."
"He was," you nod. "He offered to give Mitsuya a ride home."
"So it's just you then?" she asks before pausing for a second. "Before you go do you think we could talk about something for a sec?"

Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
