《Unknown Love ~{discontinued}~》Chapter 18

I awoke in Tords office. I set my self up on my elbows, looking around the room.
'He isn't doing paperwork at his desk...'
I thought to myself.
I jump off the couch, landing on the floor.
'Tomi! You scared me!'
I mentally faced palmed, getting up again and laying back down.
'I guess if Tord didn't wake me before, he doesn't need me right now... may as well get some extra sleep.'
That was the last thought, I thought before slipping into unconsciousness and letting Tomi take over for a bit.
Tom went to what I call 'void' while I take control.
Amazing! Right?
Right.
I didn't feel like transforming into our half form so I stayed in Toms form.
I laid on the couch, staring through the digital screen at the ceiling.
Oh! I have to say, these goggles things are cool!
Great work Tord.
A low creak of a door rang through the room quietly.
Whos that?
No soldier is allowed here if Red Leader is not.
What could they possibly want?
"Ma'am, he seems to be asleep on the couch. He also has cool goggles now!" The unknown human chirped into what I presume is a communicator.
The figure came closer, now hovering over me.
I can sense it.
Since I closed my eyes a while ago.
"I'm sorry that I have to do this. You've probably been through a lot in the situation your in..." The same voice whispered.
I quickly sit up, our heads colliding and they fall back.
"You mother fucker-"
Sirens.
The bases sirens went off.
But this one alerting a kidnapping.
"Fuck you too bitch!" I growl, transforming into our half form.
I step back a bit, stretching out my claws and ready to attack at any given moment.

The female spy stood up. She had curly brown hair tied into a ponytail. Her hazel eyes beamed with determination.
"I'm not leaving without you, successor." She growled, pouncing on me. Knocking the couch over while she did so.
I quickly jump to my right, dodging her hit. She stood on the floor with her hands and feet, mumbling curses. I took this as a chance to claw at her back.
I crawl from where I stood, over to the girl and raising my claw. I swipe down...
to only be stopped by the spy. She held a tight grip around my claw, keeping it away from her.
"How the hell are you that strong..?" I question in a mumble.
"My boss gave me a serum to give me some extra strength, since I'm taking care of you." She explained, a smirk on that stupid face of hers.
She tightened her grip, pulling me down to the ground. She stood up, holding my claws behind my back. I growl as the door opened.
Bianca stood in the doorway, holding a rifle and aiming it at the spy above me.
"Let go of my favourite animal here!!" Bianca shouted in a growl, tightening her grip on the rifle.
"And why should I? Your just a mutt trainer. How can you stop me?" The spy laughed maniacally. Her grin becoming sinister.
"I am not just any mutt trainer... I'm the red army's K9 trainer and started training combat a month ago." Bianca corrected in a growl.
The spy bursted in laughter. "That means nothing to me!! Pathetic fool!" The spy grabbed a cloth from her belt, covering it over my mouth.
Black spots invaded mine and Toms vision as we both slip into unconsciousness.
The spy had knocked out Thomas and Tomi with chemicals on a cloth. I don't know much about chemicals so I'm no expert.

"Fucking bitch! I'll teach you to not mess with the Red Army!!" I growl, shooting multiple times at the spy.
I hit her in her right shoulder, left leg and left of her stomach.
"Give up now and live!! Or die by a 'pathetic fool'!" I shouted, pointing my rifle at the spy, still.
She started to giggle. "I'm sorry." She stated.
"For?" I question, raising an eyebrow.
"Bianca, I've known you for so long! But you never knew me... but that's okay." Her giggles stopped and she got serious. "Bianca, I never wanted to be apart of the black army! Every there was forced to work there! I'm forced!! Please, don't kill me... can I stay with you? Then I can help you with strategies! And stuff! Please!"
I considered the thought. "Fine, but you will stay in my room and stay there. No one will know your there so you don't have to worry about someone killing you." Bianca accepted the idea, lowering her rifle and placing a smile on her face.
"Thank you, you don't know how much this means to me. By the way, the names Miria." Miria smiled. "Also, don't worry about my wounds. I got given a serum to heal fast in case I got stuck into a situation like before."
"Oh okay good! Let me help you to my room!" Bianca chirped, dropping her gun and first helping Toms limp body to the other couch then helped Miria.
The two walked to Bianca's room.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
