《The Land of Stories: The Adventure Continues》Happily Ever After Again

That night, Alex invited all the royals and fairies to a huge party at the Fairy Palace. Not only to celebrate their freedom but to introduce Matthew, Carrie, Elizabeth and their children to everyone. Also, Conner and Bree because they hadn't meant all of the next generation royals.
In the past few years, the royals of the kingdoms have passed and left their kingdoms in the hands of their children. The daughter of Snow White and King Chandler of the Northern Kingdom, Cordelia became queen once her parents passed and she married her husband Henry a few years after. He was one of the royal guards of the Northern kingdom. From them they had only 1 son named Adem. The daughter of Cinderella and Chance of the Charming Kingdom, Hope became Queen when her parents decided she was ready and married her childhood sweetheart Prince Zhyler of the Eastern Kingdom. Zhyler is actually Sleeping Beauty and King Chases only son. Hope and Zhyler ended up having 2 daughters, Faith and Lavender. The Daughter of Sleeping Beauty and Chase, Ash became queen once her parents passed and married Quince. A man that didn't come from royalty, but was a farmer in the Eastern Kingdom and they are expecting their first child in the next few months. Lastly, Rapunzel and Sir William of the Corner kingdom had twins named Cassandra and Colter. Cassandra ended up becoming queen when their parents passed and has ruled over the Corner Kingdom alone since.
Red and Froggy we're still the proud parents of the lost boys and their own biological son Jacob, but people call him Jake. Goldilocks and Jack were proud parents of their two sons Hero and Gabriel. Hero was married to Penelope who was a female royal guard of the Center Kingdom. Together they gave Goldilocks and Jack 3 grandchildren, the triplets Max, Andrew, and Alessia. Their youngest son Gabriel is married to Annabelle, and together they have 2 children. Axel and Alexandra.
The entire original Fairy Council was there as well, the only members that had passed in the last few years were Violetta and Mother Goose. The two new members to the council included Annabelle and Flint.
The party was very overwhelming for Matthew, Carrie, and Elizabeth, but Charlie, Brighton, and Ayden were having a blast with all of her new cousins and children at the party. Alex then tapped the side of her glass to make a speech.
"I want to thank you all for coming to this party tonight to celebrate our freedom. Also to remind you that we are stronger than any villain that crosses our path. We are also here to introduce you to our heroes, my nieces, and nephews. They had no idea we even existed and yet they stopped everything and put their lives on the line to help us. On behalf of everyone here, thank you for your help and you are welcome here whenever you want to visit." Alex said. Everyone clapped and cheered and Matthew, Carrie, Elizabeth, Brighton, Ayden waved bashfully at everyone, while Charlie smiled and bowed.
The party continued throughout the night and they all mingled with the royals and the kids continued to play together. Nathaniel who was in the corner talking to Queen Cassandra and Prince Colter of the Corner Kingdom walked over to Elizabeth.
"Hey, Nathaniel. I thought Alex sent you back?" Elizabeth said. "Well, I'm glad she didn't because I wanted to say thank you for everything."

"Your welcome and I asked her not to. I wanted to ask you something." Nathaniel said. "Would you want to maybe go on a walk with me sometime?"
"How about this. You come back with me to my world and we go out to dinner." Elizabeth said. "That's how we do dates in our world, but if you don't want to that's fine."
"I would love to, also I would love to visit your world," Nathaniel said.
"Great, then it's a date," Elizabeth said.
"Great, I'm going to have to tell Queen Cassandra of the Corner Kingdom I'm going on a little vacation then because she actually just offered me a job as head of the royal guard," Nathaniel said. "I'll see you later."
"See ya," Elizabeth said and walked back over to her family.
"Seems like the children are getting along well." Annabelle said. "Thank you again for helping us."
"It's no problem. We were getting bored with our dull lives anyways." Matthew said.
"I'm sorry again for not telling you guys," Conner said.
"I also have a feeling it was my fault too," Bree said.
"You have nothing to apologize for, you guys gave us the best childhood and life anyone could ever ask for." Carrie said.
"Well with these final moments we have together, why don't we show you the best view of the kingdoms." Alex asked.
"I'd really like that," Carrie said. "Kids come here!"
Charlie, Brighton and Ayden walked over to their parents and Alex snapped her fingers transporting herself, Bree and Conner. Allyson, Annabelle, Matthew, Elizabeth, Carrie and the children to the top of the Northern Mountain. The cold air brushed their faces and the Bailey siblings and grandchildren were in awe at the sight of all the kingdoms.
"Oh my God." Carrie said breathlessly. "It's beautiful."
"Isn't it?" Allyson said.
"This is amazing." Elizabeth said and hugged Charlie.
"So everything in your books are true. Sorry for asking again, I just want to make absolutely sure and that this isn't just a hallucination from something I ate." Matthew said.
"Yeah, they are," Conner said. "Our Dad grew up here and fell in love with our mother at home. He died before he could tell us about this place. Our grandmother gave us the storybook and that's when our adventures started."
Charlie walked to the edge and looked out over the land and turned to her mother.
"Can we move here?" Charlie asked her. That question struck Elizabeth by surprise.
"What?" She asked.
"Why can't we?" Charlie said. "According to Aunt Alex I could have a future here."
"This is why we actually decided not to tell you guys." Conner said and looked at Alex. "We wanted to guys to have a future back at home, not here."
"I actually agree with grandpa. We'll discuss this later Charlie." Elizabeth said. "Right now let's have a nice night."
"Owe my back." Conner said and leaned back. "I think the spell is wearing off."
"I think so too." Alex said. They all had a laugh and continued to look over the great expanse and tell stories throughout the night.
Later in the night everyone returned back to their homes. Before going to bed Conner and Bree took their kids and grandkids aside.

"I just want to talk to you guys before we go to bed. Before all this happened, as you guys know I was really sick. The spell we're under is fading and that means...I may not be here in the morning. I just want to say that I will always be with you and you will see me again. You'll also have this one here to turn to." Bree said and pointed to Conner.
"I thought the spell in some way healed you?" Matthew said with tears forming.
"We're not sure, but I'm just warning you guys." Bree said.
Charlie, Brighton, and Ayden quickly hugged their grandmother tightly and Matthew, Carrie and Elizabeth joined in. Conner did as well.
"We love you, Mom," Carrie said through her tears. "We'll see each other again. I know it."
After their discussion they all separated and went to their bedrooms. Conner and Bree were in their room and they had already gone back to their normal 80-year-old selves. Conner looked in the mirror.
"I see a difference. I think younger me listened to me about the anti-aging cream." Conner said looking in the mirror.
"If you think you see a difference then that's good enough." Bree said and laughed sitting in the bed. "Do you feel better now that the secret is out?"
"I do, but I can't stop thinking about what Charlie said." Conner said and sat on the other side of the bed. "I didn't want this for any of our kids. I wanted them to have normal lives."
"Maybe that's not what they were destined to have. Conner, they're not normal kids. Your family's magic is rushing through them." Bree reminded him. "The secret is out and it's been hidden long enough. You saw how sad your sister was without this place. Don't keep Charlie from something she desperately wants and her destiny."
"In the end though it's not my decision. It's Elizabeth's." Conner said.
"Conner, Elizabeth still has a long way to go. She still comes to you for guidance. As her Dad, you have the power to steer her in the right direction." Bree said. "When the time comes, which will probably be tomorrow, what are you going to tell her?"
"I don't know." Conner said. "I wish you could stay longer."
"I'm already feeling weak. I probably only have another hour left in me." Bree said. Conner hugged her tightly and they laid down in the bed and fell asleep in each other's arms.
The next morning, Conner awoke to an empty space next to him. He tried to hold back his tears, but he couldn't. The person he had always relied on, loved and laughed with was gone. But this time it felt different. Bree didn't feel completely gone, he still felt her, which gave him peace.
There was then a knock on the door and Conner quickly wiped his tears and sat up.
"Come in." He said.
"Dad?" Elizabeth said as she peaked through the door and saw that it was only him in the room. "Is mom?"
"Yeah." Conner said and wiped away more tears.
"Don't worry dad. You still have us when you want to talk." Elizabeth said. "And we'll see her soon, but not too soon hopefully."
"I know. I'm grateful we had amazing children." Conner said.
"I do need some advice on something though," Elizabeth said and walked in and sat on the bed. "I haven't slept all night. Charlie kept asking me that question. About staying here. What do you think I should do?"
"I saw my sister go through this same thing. When we went home the first time, I saw my sister get very depressed, because she was being kept from something she wanted so badly." Conner said. "Of course back then she had to decide between both because the gateway had to be closed forever. Which only lasted for a year. The situation is different now, where now we can come and go as we please."
"I think I know what you're saying." Elizabeth said. "There can be a balance of both. So that Charlie can have both a normal and magical life?"
"We've been using that word normal." Conner said. "You guys have never been normal. You guys have had magic in your blood since the day you were born. You just didn't know it. I kept you guys from living up to your full potential without a choice and I feel like it it would be wrong to hold Charlie back as I did with you guys."
"Thanks Dad. I think I know what to do." Elizabeth said and hugged him. "I don't know how I would get by without you."
"You'll always have me...and your mom. No matter where we are." Conner said and kissed his daughters forehead.
Later that day they had decided to head back home and Nathaniel followed. They said their goodbyes to their new family members and headed up to the south tower. Alex pulled a lever that was in the corner and the portal appeared.
"Well this portal may be old, but it's still working." She said.
"So Charlie, I've made my decision and I discussed it with grandpa and Aunt Alex." Elizabeth said to Charlie. "I am allowing you to come here and learn magic with Aunt Alex, but you also need to go to school back at home, because school is still very important. After you've finished school, I am giving you a choice. To either continue your studies at home or move here to continue your magic studies with Aunt Alex."
"Really!" Charlie said and gave her mother the biggest hug. "Yes! I'll take it. Thank you, Mom."
"Just so you all know, we're good," Brighton said. "Ayden and I just want to go home and return to normal."
"Even though you say that now, that same choice goes for you guys and your brothers as well," Carrie said.
"I think we're good," Brighton said and crossed his arms and moved closer to the portal desperately wanting to go home.
"I'll think about it," Ayden said. "Oh, are we going to tell the others?"
"I think we should," Conner said. "Alex we may be back tomorrow."
"That's perfect. Come as often as you want." Alex said. "You're always welcome. Thank you so much for your help again. We are very grateful."
"Your welcome," Carrie said.
"We'll definitely be back," Elizabeth said.
The Baileys then walked into the portal and they ended up back in their living room with the Land of Stories book on the floor. At that point, they knew their adventures in the Land of Stories were far from over.

Apparently, even heaven had the odd clerical error. Which was not something Nathaniel Miller would have expected, and yet, that seemed to be exactly what had happened to him. No one, however, had specified how different this world would be from his, sure they had said the tech would be a little older, and there were other small anomalies. That Scottish Play
This is a very silly and cringey parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play format will be kept consistent throughout. Unless you enjoy cringing so hard you experience physical pain, I'd suggest avoiding this work. However, as the level of cringe is only slightly less than that of the office, any fans of that show may enjoy this work. (I believe, as a parody, this work is protected from copyright by fair use, additionally, Shakespeare is in the public domain so it doesn't fall under copyright in the first place. If I'm wrong please let me know)
