Concern and worry characterized

Y/N's face as he entered the living

room, where he spotted Lucius sitting on the couch, typing in his laptop.

Y/N : "Lucius... Have you seen Rodez?

He hasn't come to work lately."

Lucius : "Rodez? I'm not sure. He hasn't told me anything." He answered, his eyes still focused in his laptop as he typed on the keyboard.

Y/N : "Oh."

Lucius : "Yeah. By the way, Y/N.

I'm talking to your uncle."

Y/N : "Really?"

Lucius : "He told me he misses you.

And that you should pay him a visit."

Y/N : "Oh... Why don't we visit right now? It's still morning so by the time we arrive at his house it will be afternoon."

Lucius grinned.

Lucius : "You're totally right."

Y/N : "I'll just get ready."

Y/N went to Alice and informed

her about the travel.

The two prepared their things and dressed themselves with jackets

and layered clothing, prepared

for the cold weather of the outside.

After they finished preparing,

the two went back down at the

living room where they saw

Lucius waiting for them.

Lucius : "Done?"

Y/N : "Let's go!" Y/N beamed,

excited to see his uncle again.

Lucius called the driver,

Ressen, to pick them up.

As this was going on, Alice was

just quiet, watching and taking

note of everything.

The three went outside where they immediately spotted the car that was parked and waiting for them.

Which was quite suspicious.

As if things are already planned.

The three walked towards

the car, entering inside.

Lucius sat next to Ressen.

Alice and Y/N sat next to each other.

Lucius gave Ressen a smug look, as Ressen returned the same look to him.

Lucius : "Ready?"

Y/N : "Yes!"

Lucius : "Let's go."

Ressen stepped on the gas.

The car traveled under

the sun as it snowed outside.

Y/N and Alice were talking to

each other, Alice was really

enjoying this moment with Y/N.

For Alice, things are perfect.

Just to be able to see Y/N's face and bright smile, and to be able to make sure he's safe is everything she needs.

The car traveled outside the city,

since Y/N's uncle's house is in the

middle of the forest.

His uncle is a bit eccentric, part of the reason why he lives in the forest. But

Y/N still find him amusing and bonds with him, especially since he's the

only family he got left.

Lucius : "We're almost here."

The car entered a path off the main road and into the thicket of the forest.

The tall pine trees in the forest were amazing, they were made even more beautiful since they were covered and adorned by snow.

The car continued to drive its way through the path, that is until a

tree was found blocking the path.

Lucius : "Woah."

Ressen : "What the..."

Ressen stepped outside the car.

With Lucius following him.

Y/N tried leaving the car to check

what going on, but Alice stopped

him, sensing that the whole

situation lingers of suspicion.

Y/N and Alice looked outside,

where Lucius and Ressen were at.

Three man came out of the trees, holding submachine guns.

Two man approached the car as

one man pointed his gun at Lucius

and Ressen, who were putting their hands up in fear.

A serious demeanor filled Alice,

she knew that something was

gonna happen.

Alice : "Stay down." She told Y/N

as she took out the Uzi that she

was secretly carrying.

The two man started opening fire towards the car. The sounds of bullets hitting the car echoed in Y/N's ear.

Y/N quickly ducked down at the

floor of the car, shaking in fear.

Alice carefully opened the door of

the car slightly, just enough so that

she can poke her Uzi outside. As she

did, she quickly sprayed bullets at

the two man, making them to drop

at the ground.

The two man groaned loudly,

crying out for their lives.

They felt pain all over.

A certain coldness is slowly

taking over their bodies.

They breathed loudly, their breaths visible in the winter air.

The pain and the weakness kept them

at the ground, they couldn't do anything but stare at the pure whiteness of the sky.

Alice cautiously came out of the car.

As she saw the two man lying down at snow-covered ground, dying in their puddles of blood. Alice aimed her Uzi at them and finished them.

Alice hid behind the car, where

she aimed at the one man at the

position of Lucius and Ressen.

The man was panicking, knowing

that his two friends, who were

using submachine guns, were

killed in a blink of an eye.

Just like that.

They were the ones who killed Rodez, who took a person's life. And now, it's time for their lives to be taken.

The man aimed at Ressen and Lucius.

"D-Don't shoot or I'll ki-" Before the

man could finish his threat, Alice

has already fired at his head.

The man dropped to the ground,

Lucius and Ressen looked at the

body, before looking at each other.

They both gave each other a look,

some sort of confirmation.

Y/N, seeing that the action was done, came out of the car, shouting.

Y/N : "What the hell did just happen!?"

Alice : "An ambush..." Alice answered

as focused on reloading her Uzi.

Ressen : "Jesus..."

Lucius : "I'll call the police." Lucius

said as he took his phone out.

As Lucius dialed his phone, Alice carefully aimed her Uzi at Ressen's

head.

She fired at his head, he

dropped down at ground.

Lucius's eyes widened, Alice quickly moved her Uzi, firing at Lucius's legs, making him shout out in pain and drop down in the ground.

Y/N : "What the fuck did you do, Alice!?

Alice walked towards Lucius, she

took the phone that Lucius was

holding and handed it to Y/N.

Alice : "Look at the number,

is that the number of the police?"

Y/N carefully looked at the number,

his jaw dropped, confirming that the phone number wasn't the police's,

but a personal number.

Y/N : "Lucius... Who are you calling...?"

Lucius :

Alice's face morphed into a disgusted expression, her eyes belittled Lucius, who was at the ground, dying.

Alice : "Don't lie. I knew that things were suspicious. Everything seems so planned and prepared. You planned this,

Lucius : "Don't be ridiculous..."

Lucius screamed out in pain.

Lucius : "SHIT! Y/N... Please,

help me... I'm gonna die... please..."

Y/N : "L-Lucius... Are you behind

this...? All of this...? I trusted you

ever since I met you..."

Lucius : "Exactly! Believe me, Y/N!

Not Alice! I will never betray you...

Please... I'm gonna die..."

Alice : "Y/N. You know that Rodez dissappeared, right? I am sure that he had something to do with that. After he told you to fire him and you refused. Before leaving, he took his phone out. After that day, we never saw Rodez again."

Y/N : "What..."

Alice : "I'm sure he had something to

do with Emma aswell. I watched you, your body language and the way your eyes looked. I always sensed that something was wrong with you, Lucius... You were a conniving traitor, afterall."

Lucius laughed out loud,

his laugh sounded so painful.

Lucius : "I'm a traitor...? So what!?

Y/N : "Lucius..." He looked down

at Lucius with absolute pity.

Lucius : "Everyone will be a traitor after being treated by your father! Your damn father he... He verbally abused me, he bullied me, he made me cover up his love affairs with countless women, he made me commit tax fraud in his company and libels... I didn't want to do those things... But he told me that he'll leave me a part of his inheritance when he dies. He told me he would give me atleast five million... I was planning to kill him, but he was already old and chugging alcohol and smoking cigars nonstop. It was a matter of time before chokes on his own spit and die. But it was even better when he got poisoned when he got caught fucking someone's wife!

Finally... I could get my money and leave!"

Lucius paused, panting heavily.

Lucius : Does he think that he could just use me like that? With no return? With no revenge!? He was already dead, but I knew what to do!

I had to take his son down! That's the only way I can fucking spit on his face when he's already in the grave! "

Alice's disgusted expression intensified, she couldn't bare to listen to his pathetic ramblings.

She thought that he sounded

like an wailing, dying animal.

Y/N was shattered.

All of his trust.

All of his memories.

He treated Lucius like a big brother, even a father sometimes. But to hear what Lucius truly thinks of him is...

Heartbreaking.

It seems that every person he knows have betrayed him, or will betray him.

Is being born rich really worth it when

you're being constantly back stabbed?

When you can't even make true friends?

It seems to Y/N, that to be rich,

you will need to sacrifice a part

of your humanity.

Alice aimed the Uzi at Lucius's face.

Alice : "Any last words?

You pathetic being?"

Lucius laughed out loud again,

his laugh strained, sounding

very agonizing.

Lucius : "I'll see you..."

Lucius quietly brought a

pistol out of his pocket.

Even though his hands are shaking,

his fingers still firmly gripped the pistol.

Lucius : Lucius shouted as he quickly pointed the gun

at Y/N, but due to his blurry vision caused by severe blood loss and the weakness of his arms, he could only shoot Y/N's shoulder.

Alice's eyes widened, seeing

her precious Y/N getting shot.

With eyes showing absolute insanity, She quickly sprayed bullets at Lucius.

Emptying a magazine on him.

She reloaded the gun and emptied another magazine on him.

Y/N winced in pain, he held his

wound. He felt severe pain and weakness on his shoulder.

Alice immediately ran to Y/N.

Alice : "Oh no... Oh no... I should

have shot him right away..."

Alice started shaking.

Y/N : "Alice..." Y/N stared at

his bleeding wound with fear.

Y/N : "There's a first aid kit inside the car... I hope they didn't remove it..."

Alice immediately ran to the car, opening the storage compartment.

Her eyes lit up, seeing the red box

of a first aid kit.

She grabbed it and ran back to Y/N.

Alice immediately patched Y/N's wound, applying pressure to his wound and covering it with wound dressing.

Y/N sighed, his breath shaking.

Alice : "Let's get out of here."

Alice guided Y/N into the car.

Alice was in the driving seat,

Y/N was in the seat beside her.

Alice started driving back to

the path where they came from.

Y/N was breathing heavily.

Y/N : "Alice... Where are we going...?"

Alice : "To a place where

no one will ever hurt you."

Y/N : "Where is that..."

Alice : "You will see,

Y/N : "Your what...?"

Alice didn't answer,

she just kept driving.

Y/N yawned. His eyes feels

heavy, he feels very drowsy.

Y/N : "Alice... I'm sleepy..."

Alice looked at Y/N.

Alice : "No one will ever hurt you again..." She smiled at him, her eyes,

full of love, deeply looking at him.
